I have a vacation horror story. A few years ago... I went to Florida with my family. We were staying in a gated community and the trip was really fun. On our last day, there was a huge robbery at a jewelry store nearby. Some of my family knew another couple in the gated community. Their house got broken into and they were held at gunpoint and told to drive the criminals to drive them away. (Not upside what happened with that.) My family and I decided to pack up and just go for the beach just in case we had to evacuate. There was no evacuation... but good thing it was our last day. (I’m not sure what happened to the criminals, but I’m pretty sure the police caught one of them.)

Here is my scary story... I was at Florida visiting family. There is a guest hall where there are 2 bed rooms and a closet. My Mom and my Dad slept at the end of the guest hall and the room next to it was where my Great Grandma slept. I was sleeping near my Grandma and Grandpas room. I was watching Netflix when I heard a knocking at the window behind me. I didn't dare to look so I covered me and my brothers head with pillows and pretended I didn't here anything. I heard knocking again. My brother started crying and then my Grandparents woke up and got of their room. They asked me what the noise was. I said it is coming threw the window. My Grandma looked out the window and saw a man looking inside. She grabbed her phone and called 911. She said for us to come into their room and my Grandpa would go get my Parents and my Great Grandma. While my Grandma was talking to the operator we heard the knocking again. Now I started tearing up scared. My Grandma got of the phone and covered her window with a blanket. My Grandpa Mom Dad and Great Grandma came inside. The police came and searched the house inside and out. They found the man inside in the closet and fake sleeping. They arrested him and we/them never had a problem again. I am now paranoid every night in my house and I even covered up my window with a blanket in case someone was trying to do brake in.
