Nice catch, good to see ya still going. I can’t with catching EAS in Canada anymore because to hear the alert itself, you have to turn off the alert sirens on the radios (since the alert sirens don’t turn off until the English message basically ends). Either way nice to see some Canadian content haha 📡
AWESOME! Love that you were able to go there and record this. Can’t wait until I can visit Canada myself, hopefully soon. I love that these voices sound somewhat similar to the old Donna and Tom. Great stuff, man!
what was the other language it was speaking other than english? I only got kec63 162.550, but I can barely pick up channel 4 on my radioshack 12-262 and it spoke that language to me and I don't know what it is,
This is why I don't really like listening to WeatherRadio Canada anymore with this new system, a lot of regions do not tone their alerts some regions do, like Alberta for example that does tone their alerts but some of them like Quebec don't I'm not sure about Ontario or Manitoba Nova Scotia doesn't. I don't know why but the old system in my opinion used to be more reliable for receiving.EAS alerts in Canada

Even Though I Don't Live In Canada, Welcome To Environment Canada Land!
Hello radio newbie
It’s me, Mr. Synkro
I love how Environment Canada names it "Rainfall Warning"

They do issue tone alerts when rainfall warnings are issued you just got to have your weather radio on at all times
No, they never tone Rainfall Warnings. Snowfall Warnings are toned.
@@AlbertaRadio oh I forgot they didn’t do that sorry
😂 😮
I still feel as if Environment Canada gets the alerts right. They're a lot more comprehensive with their approach to warnings and watches. Nice video!
Nice catches. Glad to see you going to Canada again.
Wait for one of those toned Canadian alerts... It will catch you off guard (the sound)
Weatheradio canada does not use the Alertready tone, it uses the same tones for NWR

Rainfall Warning - OH CRAP THERE'S WATER FALLING OUT OF THE SKY OMG GET THE PEOPLE WARNED
@Beazillaye
What model midland is that?
That’s the Midland HH54VP! Thanks.
I thought Quebec WRC stations only broadcasted in French
Every station broadcasts in English and French as it's legally required
@@AlbertaRadio Oh
