I listen to a lot of fairly unknown bands, but this is one that really should have more recognition. Perfectly polished, great music, great quality. I love DST. If I can ever find their music anywhere, I'll be sure to buy it.
Fantastic album. Maybe not as demanding of the listener as "A Murder of Crows" but equally inspired. Dead Soul Tribe should be getting more attention...
@sniperbag Blackfield is a great group!!! It's Steven Wilson and Aviv Geffen, who is an Israeli rock singer. I consider them the "Kings of Melancholy". Their tunes have a quality that just gets you right to the soul. REALLY good stuff. Check out their music!
Yeah, just get all of them, Dude. There's no harm or negatives in having 'em all. Don't just limit yourself to one album at a time...The problem with that is every album of Dead Soul Tribe is different, hence their prog metal title ; they are always progressing and changing their sound. So all I'm saying is try to grab as many albums as you can at once, it really helpred broaden my horizons on the group...(also take a look at Psychotic Waltz...Buddy Lackey's group before DST..Truly Amazing).
@sniperbag DST is awesome. Favorite song is The Gossamer Strand. As for Riverside, I FINALLY got REM, and it's just as sick as the first two. Still need to get ADHD. Also just got Rhapsody Of Fire's new album Frozen Tears of Angels and Blackfield's debut. GOOD STUFF!
@ma7euszzz Yeah, since the one year ago that I last posted on this video I've gotten this AMOC and TJT by DST, and I've also gotten the first two albums by riverside. As well as a sh*t ton of other music too! I'm from New Mexico man. Land of green chile and no water, lol. You?
riverside are fucking brilliant minus their latest bs release..it was absolutely terrible/saw them in concert for it, was a complete utter waste of time and money
i dont know why, maybe im deaf but i dont hear tool in this at all. DST is lightyears better than Tool and my top 3 favorite band sof all time. the others are Opeth and Crimson Glory. Check CG out if youre not familiar. lemme know whatcha think :)
Yes..but the lead singer was in a band called Psychotic Waltz which was around the same time as Tool in the early 90's..they had a completely different sound, but the lead singer is very talented lyrically and has always sang like this, I think whoever he was working with as far as the guitarists on his 2nd and 3rd and 4th albums was heavily inspired by Tool
@WayOfTheBastard sounds nothing like tool. why does everyone say that all progressive metal bands sound like tool just because they are in the same genre.

What bands that are unknown do you listen to?

It's a pity that they don't have too many fans here in Finland... Gotta go to Germany to be able to see them, and PW as well.
Interesting. Very elaborated, but good stuff, reminds me a little the early Dream Theater work.
very nice song
A great song.
Amazing
4 years late.
but get this one :D
These guys came to Greece. And they cancelled the concert because only 12 tickets were bought. How the fuck stupid are we?
pretty fucking stupid I'd say
lol at least the psychotic waltz concerts e years ago had a decent audience.
Yeah, I didn't even know psychotic waltz back then though :P
I had bought one of them mate... remember the disappointment.
Yeah I remember quite well too. I was one of the guys that wanted to go to the door to buy a damn ticket
I'm high

Check out The Shadow Theory if you haven't already, then. Also one of Devon's bands.
Typical Psychotic Waltz Style. Juhuuu Devon -gg-
Today youth does no anything about good and quality music. Their brains are empty with infinite void.
False
fact. get over it @@iliveformusic7543
Buddy's finest album (although the Tool influences are a bit too obvious, now and then) since 1990 or 92.

get both they excellent
Okay, I agree, Tool is godlike, and I love 'em too. But, you need to stop comparing every prog. metal band to them. :\
@altair1985 Indeed mate. Great minds think alike! ;)
AWSOME song XD
Yeah, go for getting it local. Much cheaper, and less chance of sad accidents while the stuff is getting shipped.
Alıntılarla yaşıyorum..;)
BOTH!
Anyone else get a Tool vibe from this?

I do
DST is a million lightyears ahead of Tool. I don't hear Tool here, I hear DST!!!
@WayOfTheBastard sounds nothing like tool. why does everyone say that all progressive metal bands sound like tool just because they are in the same genre.
Totally suport your coment 👌🏻
I have "A Lullaby for the Devil," and I love it. I'm debating whether to get this album or "A Murder of Crows." Any opinions?
Tkot2326 get all of them
@Tkot2326 this is an old comment...but buy Second Life Syndrome!! i promise you won't regret it...its truly a 5/5 album
@FiOth87
Ι can't believe I found one comment of yours in here just by accident.
@Tkot2326 buy BOTH of them!!!!!!!
with the singer of psychotic waltza, has to be good
download off vuze...like album that much. go out and buy it. voice is just a smijin too hairbandish for myself, but hey, still sound very talented.
