      @@dicedrinksanddadjokes well it will have one hell of an effect. Make sure you don’t miss the shot. I’d suggest ruins of dale under attack from Smaug for a burning building diorama. • @dicedrinksanddadjokes

      Ooh yeah that would be cool. Hella expensive though! I was actually thinking about recreating the scene where the witchking lands on Minas tirith and blasts Gandalf’s staff. The kick starter is “Slice & Slot” I’ve seen other similar ones but not with the same level of detail and the genius idea of having the slot to hide your cut.

    ALWAYS WEAR A MASK WHEN USING TILE GROUT!
    If I knew how awful the dust is, I would have never bought the stuff for crafting. A fine solution is to premix it with PVA+water. But then again, there are better things to use instead; like coconut fiber for example.
    Great build by the way!

    i honestly fail to see the point of this system, eventhough it does look very neat and well made. i make foam-terrain because i don't have a 3d-printer. if i had a 3d-printer - which is required for this system - i would just print entire buildings, rather than make parts of them out of foam. and people with 3d-printers, would you really like to buy a foam-cutter just to make the walls, when you... have a... 3d-printer..? :P again, i fail to see the point :D

    • @dicedrinksanddadjokes
      @dicedrinksanddadjokes  Год назад +1

      I get what you’re saying. Thing is you can actually buy the printed pieces if you don’t have a 3D printer. If you do have a printer, the advantage of XPS is the creative freedom you get with it. Unless you’re savvy with 3D modelling you’re restricted by what designs are available to print. With this system you can make whatever you want! 😁 All good though each to their own 😊

    Hi Adam, this new building style is very intriguing. I finally got into foam cutting and assembly, but seeing some kits that are plastic or resin really sticks in my craw because they look great! but I want to make my own. Damn! this is a choice I will forego for now. The buildings themselves are nicely crafted and the detail is very good. My creations are similar in style but a little laborious, but that is what I like about it. The fun of building from scratch. Great video as usual mate!
    PS Any games on the horizon? I'd like to see this terrain on the board.
