  • Crabbing, we had a good catch of Blue Crabs while Crabbing on the St. John's River in Florida. After returning home we cleaned, cooked them and made Stuffed Shrimp with some of the Crab Meat we picked. The Crabs we caught were all good size all 36 of them. [Catch and Cook]

I agree with Merry Apple. I would love a cook book too. How big is your steamer? I was thinking of getting one. Your adventures look like so much fun. I do like crabbing and when we went to Galveston we caught over 100 crabs. What bait do you guys like to use? I used some pin fish we caught and cans of tuna fish and it worked well. Looking forward to more videos. Thank you for sharing ideas on how to cook the seafood you catch. I have several written down and will try them in the Spring when we go to Galveston again.

May I recommend that you put the Rope on the iron and the Crab Pot. Putting the Rope on the iron and the Crab Pot and making your tie connection at the iron and the Crab Pot takes all of the stress off of The Crab Pot when pulling it up.

I thought once you took the shell off, they were instantly dead. I noticed one that was just flapping its legs after the tp shell was taken off . Does that cause them any pain when dispatching them this way? Have you ever thought about putting them on ice first to put them to sleep before dispatching them? I can't stand for ANY animal or even little creatures to suffer. Once, when I was visiting my husband's family, some people came over that caught some fush. They started scaling them when they were still alive. I had to go inside. It made me nauseous.
