@@TheOldCoupleOutdoors I love Florida and I have lived there, in Mississippi, Georgia, North Carolina and in Texas as far as living on or near the coasts and there is just something about being able to breath the salt air or those coastal breezes. When my husband was alive we used to go crabbing all of the time, but we are in NJ. It was my job to clean the crabs as he was cleaning the boat and engine so the salt water didn't stay in it, he would put the prop in a trash can full of water and run the engine so the fresh water would circulate through it. Anyway, after I cleaned the crabs, (I hosed them out also to get all of the junk out also) they would be nice and ready to cook. I used to fry them in a large pan with light olive oil, smoked paparika, garlic powder, Old Bay, salt and red pepper. After I fried them on both sides until done I would add some butter, chopped garlic and oregano, fried them a little longer to activate the oregano, damn they were good this way! Try this recipe, it's a good change from the traditional way in water.
We're also from N.J. ( Atlantic City ) and I used to do the same with my motor and clean the boat while Joyce was cooking crabs or fish. We'll have to try your recipe it sounds good. Thanks again for Watching
