Man, that's something. Greed, pride, and vanity. He's like a golddigger. Getting rich from the team's budget. Would the A's owner and Reinsdorf fall under this category as well? Their fanbases are calling them to sell the team.
They are pretty close, but at least are only damaging one team
Absolutely! And these guys have the nerve to say that teams like the Yankees and Dodgers are "ruining baseball". No. It's guys like Loria,Reinsdorf,Jeff Fisher,Nutting in Pittsburgh and the guy in Cincinnati
@@henrymanzano2201 exactly!
@@henrymanzano2201 Cincinnati? As bad as the current owner is, they’re saints compared to Marge Schott.
@yunglo9394 Schott at least got them a ring. She was more of a horrible person versus horrible owner.
This guys stepson David Sampson is brutal just the worst
Jerry Reinsdorf is definitely on the list of worst owners ever.
He did win six championships with the bulls and also has one with the White Sox. A bad owner yes, but his teams have had success
@@BBUYTTVyes but you have to acknowledge his last championship was almost twenty years ago now and those bulls, while some of the best teams ever were nearly thirty years ago. He had serious success but he has consistently been a detriment to his own teams and and is often quick to choose friends as parts of his organization rather than better suited individuals.
@@hugsgrom6693 true enough. Probably time to sell the team
@@BBUYTTVThat was 20 + years ago.
Don't forget jhon fisher
Convinced the city of Miami to build the ballpark at the dispense of the Orange Bowl. Florida's football Mecca with over seven decades of history.
That stadium deal was a giant scam
Apparently, you never heard of Bob Nutting.
I have but he is only ruining one team
Nutting is Top 5 bad, but he’s nowhere near Loria.
@@baxatakbaxatak2014 I agree
At least Bob Nutting is trying by singing players to contact extensions
Arte Moreno is on the pos list alongside Jeffrey Loria!
You are right he hasn’t been very good
also Chris Illitch
Absolute cheapskate compared to his father
@@Karmy. true enough!
IMO this guy was allowed to own two franchises because selig and company wanted contraction.
That is a great point! I can see that!
John Fisher’s hero
Amen!
Fisher by far the worst. Manfred allowing A's diaspora, tanking with further tanking of the Chi white Sox, p-poor TV deals all around, the criminal stadium mess in Anaheim, Letting Nike destroy tradition with the clown uniforms...Two worst villains still alive.
0:04 Chris Illitch
I seriously don't understand this level of greed that is EVERYWHERE now. It's a parasite that never quits growing
Agree with. Sad to see
How an art dealer ever made enough money to own a baseball team still boggles my mind.
He is definitely good at making money!💰
@@BBUYTTV Yeah sure. Buy extremely low, invest zero money on the project, and sell high. Sounds like a stereotypical New York slumlord.
@@ulical that’s about right
Two words. Marge. Schott.
She was pretty terrible
Marge was great.
And the Marlins are still, to this day, paying the price for his ownership.
@@dolbra4 no doubt about that. His path of destruction is wide
No. It's Mr. Overrated himself to blame now. The legacy of Derek Jeter.
The only way to safe Baseball is to end it's Anti-Trust exemption.
Maybe, but I doubt that will happen
Fisher is the worst now !!!
He is fighting for the crown!
Montereal deserves another team rather that be a rebranded Expos or a new team all together they deserve to have baseball. I don’t know if it would be expansion or a team moving but it needs to happen.
I would love to see another team in Montreal
@@BBUYTTVI remember as a kid I saw away game in Atlanta vs the Expos they were an exciting team led by Vlad Guerrero. He hit a massive home run off Tom Glavine that game.
@@yokaidigital3033 they had some great players in their short history, Vlad, Gary Carter, Pedro Martinez, Randy Johnson…they just were never able to keep a hold of them.
@@BBUYTTV yeah I know I grew up in Georgia and I can remember my braves taking on the expos. Think my two favorite players were Vlad and Pedro. Honestly I don’t remember Randy Johnson as an expo my earliest memories of him are from Seattle era.
@@yokaidigital3033 Randy was still just a high potential guy that was trying to put it all together when he was with Montreal. Seattle is when he broke out. Thanks for the comment!
oakland A’s owner john fisher worst owner in MLB.
Worst current owner is Arte Moreno.
My vote would be John Fisher
@@BBUYTTV That is a close one. Both finked on promises made (Fisher to keep the team in Oakland and Moreno to sell the team), but for me, Moreno should have netted the Angels an astronomical trade package from Shohei, followed by a moderate one for Trout. They would have their future.
@@baxatakbaxatak2014 you make a great point! They definitely botched that one.
And now we get Bruce Sherman yay
Reinsdorf 10000000%
He certainly is a terrible owner
Tom Hicks destroyed the Texas Rangers, and Liverpool FC.
Add another bad one to the list!
Jerry doesn't even feel like a MLB owner bossman.
He’s been there a long time
@BBUYTTV I know, but Jeffery doesn't feel like somebody who have a MLB team.
Marlins won World Series in 2003 under Loria, ya gotta give him some credit for that?!
Absolutely, though I don’t think his leadership was a major contributor
Nope. That team was built by dave dombrowski under john henry.
Loria just benefited from it
@@charismatic9904 well put
I could buy his lack of success
But how many others failed with the Marlins & Expos?
2 places baseball was destined to fail
I agree to a point, however the Marlins have built two championship teams in there history and quickly tore the team down shortly after in both cases. They probably could have had a longer run each time but decided to sell off
@@BBUYTTV I'm originally from Miami as was even at the Marlins' inaugural game versus the Dodgers in 1993. The biggest issue is that the Marlins have had owners that, while rich, are not Steve Ross or Micky Arison rich. That means that, as in the case of Huizenga and Loria, they can flex and have a big payroll for one or two seasons but no more than that. If the Marlins ever got an owner like the Saudi Sovereign Fund that could find a high payroll, the team would be a consistent winner and attendance wouldn't be a problem. Every other South Florida professional team essentially sells out every home game but, unlike the Marlins, they're all consistent winners with stable and deep pocketed ownership.
@@ulical they have had the unfortunate luck to have two owners that were just milking the team for money.
Jerry reinsdorf is so jealous right now
Ha!
Jeffrey Loria saved the 89ers
Jerry reinsdorf
He is definitely on the list
Loria is also the most nativist owner in Major League Baseball.
Yeah, and what does that have to do with ANYTHING!
Thank god he lost the bid to buy the Orioles. Eventhough we had it bad with the Angelos family.
The Angelos family definitely did their share of damage
New O's ownership is a wonderful change.
@@1972Ray that is for sure…and they have a great young team
John Fisher only wishes to be Loria.
At least Lori’s has a title during his tenure. Fisher only has broken promises. He may be on his way to being worse than Loria based on how he has botched the situation in Oakland
Does this guy own the Blue Jays too?
Nope…lucky for them 😀
i wish he would buy the dodgers
HE wishes he could buy the Dodgers, lol
Ha!
He’s 83 years old
😂😂😂
We had Frank McCourt…
I wish he would buy the Yankees 😊
I am sure you have a lot of company with that thought 😂
@@BBUYTTV yes. As an orioles fan yes I admit it.
@@MLG_Bigpoppa4987 I love it!
