Schweitzer observed that the difference between a reflective person and an unreflective one was that the former viewed life as a mystery, a miracle, while the latter viewed life merely as a given, a brute fact. From this observation one might extrapolate that the former orientation tends toward a kind of spiritual existentialism, as championed by Pascal and Kierkegaard, the latter toward the more analytical (and IMHO more superficial) forms of philosophy currently popular on the net, even on many openly Xian sites.

I think this is my favorite video you've ever done. Great guest. The 'what to do next' aspect has been a sticking point for me

Philosophy is unavoidable. However, established schools of philosophies are not unavoidable. Thankfully.
The Bible gives us the proper foundational beliefs. All philosophies that run contrary to the Bible are wrong.

You’ll have to use philosophy to support that assertion.

This is a genius way to sell books to anxious Christians.
