HOMING SPIDER DROID - Action Fleet PROTOTYPE - Unboxing

I was lucky to snag a super-rare prototype Homing Spider Droid. It was supposed to be released as part of the 2004 Star Wars Action Fleet line, but Hasbro canceled the whole line. Only a few of these exist, but it is truly awesome. Pics are up on Rebel Scale.

Now this is cool and it’s a shame it never released. I hope micro galaxy squadron makes one eventually. I personally don’t care you opened the box either because it’s not a special made box or anything

Yeah, I hate they never released it. I think if the box was unique or in better condition I may have left it alone. But I did really want to play with it. haha

This is incredible to see! I finally completed the last wave (Republic Gunship, Slave I and Republic Assault Ship) last year but have been wanting to find out more about the Episode II Action Fleet prototypes as all that’s left is a few photos and boxed samples but no videos. For years I’ve been wanting to see the Homing Spider Droid in more detail, especially how articulated it is as it’s from the same line as the AT-TE. Well as I expected it’s awesome and really poseable!

I managed to get a Republic Assault Ship and Jango's Slave 1 online back then. I don't think those two even reached retail. At least not in my area.

Yeah, those last few were hard to get. I never saw them in stores, only online.
