2 Seasons in 7 days? Bro thats nothing. Thats not even considered binge watching in my book, try finishing both seasons in 2 days or less, thats the type of time I was on. Then come and talk to me.
What's you problem, if you don't see netflix or another one you will see TV shit all day with soap operas and commercials included. You will see sports you don´t are very much a fan, and follow tv series and wait 1 week for the next episode. For me it's over I'll never wait for a episode again. 2 seasons in 7 days that's nothing. Normally I see 2 or 3 episodes of the same series and then see another different to not get bored.
i finished 5 seasons of lucifer in 5 days and i’m loosing my mind. everywhere i go i see references to the show and i genuinely feel like it’s taking over me
The protagonist literally holds you up , he did a great job, The DEVIL really suits him. But I completed S2, and I dont wanna watch S3 cause it literally has 29 EPS , could you please help. What EPS can I leave . (Btw watch DARK , it's just soo good)
Thank you so much for this! I also noticed that when i start binge watching a show, its so funny because while i am watching it, i feel so good and excited. Once i stop, i would get extremely depressed and also feel unmotivated and unhappy with my own life. I stop meditating, stop making time for anything that is important in my life. This is so unhealthy. These tips are great! I now usually only allow myself to watch at certain times of the day and during the other time, i focus on my priorities. Great video!
I finished 3 seasons of Lucifer in 3 days......yeah I really needed this video. I’ve also noticed that even though I know that the binging isn’t good for me, in the moment it is so addicting, for example last night I was exhausted and I kept telling myself only one more episode but next thing I know it’s 5 am and I only have around 5 more episodes left of the show, and once I finished the show I immediately felt really let down and depressed. I think this is because I spent so much time invested in the show and then it just ended. Thank you for this video
You are not a normal human being to realise this in 7 days !! Hats off .. I have been doing this almost 7 years and I feel a lot guilty at times but can’t stop . May be looking for a video like this is my first step to limit my watching tv shows .. hopefully ..
i actually stopped my netflix and amazon subscription (and i'm considering getting rid of my hulu acct now). i would swing from extremes: either i binge watch or I never watch anything, thus making me feel like i'm wasting money. I've honestly not missed netflix at all (it's been about 10 months) and it's been a few months since getting rid of amazon. I think I would've kept it if I was more likely to watch tv shows or movies. I prefer to watch youtube videos though haha.
I’ve recently fell into the trap watching scandal on Disney plus !.. I searched this topic on RUclips and happy to see others talking about it , I watched a few episodes cause I was bored on a Friday night and before I knew it I wasted the entire weekend in bed , binge eating and watching the show! I’m usually exercising , cooking , walking , sleeping well and only in a few days I lost it all and had no motivation to do anything but watch the show it’s scary how powerful it is!- thankful for your video and bringing light to the issue hope more can realise and learn balance too :)
I feel after binging and finishing a show You come to reality to figure out how much time wasted on binging rather than doing what is to be done for the day. Same feeling occurs after playing games for too long or investing time in something that isn't worth it
Brilliant video, I pay for Netflix & I don't use/watch it everyday, some people feel compelled to watch it alot to get their moneys worth, people shouldn't let it dominate their lives & get in the of productivity, my advice is don't replace a TV show with another one, meaning don't watch a box set for the sake of it, watch something that you genuinely like & enjoy
So glad I found your channel. Amazing content dude. Keep it up and I’m certain your channel will grow. I’m addicted to amazon prime video. It’s the same concept.
3 tips @ 7:23 : 1. time tracking with an app (toggl) 2. stop autoplay on netflix 3. positive reinforcement (''after I finish goal/ task A , I'm going to watch an episode'')
i just searched video about binge watching coz i finally realize there's things need to be fix about my recent habit. all I can say is Thank you for the video. dunno what others think but i feel it helped me to start overcoming my binge watching. thank you, and I mean it 😊
6:10 Damn I can relate to it, i was getting depressed too for not being able to continue my health routine and felt guilty for that 🥲. I've finally decided to get rid of my Netflix addiction, I'll start other hobbies like reading books that are pending and playing chess for dopamine and exercising my brain. 6:44 holy shit and i was wondering why I was having a headache, this is no different than any drug addiction 😱
i also felt really guilty after binge-watching season 1 of stranger things but then i started doing productive things with watching it and it was amazing
Nice one bro really nice. I also decided putting friction to this watching habit by making a rule of thumb for my self like I will only watch something when I am watching with someone like with friend, gf, cousins. Never to watch alone so it was a biggest hurdle bez no one is free at the same time so my time decreased drastically 😂😂.
I wasted my 5 months binging webseries and watching movies Damn i wish i would've studied that time 😭 And i realised something that these thing separates u from your reality We meed to escape from these fantasy world.
Yeah, binge watching is kind of stupid, it's ok when you are watching, but it leaves you with such a small amount of feelings afterwards and you use up so many hours of a day... One solution I had was parental control software where I could define time limits to different programs and even websites. It was effective - I limited my daily internet time to something like 3 hours (bit more on weekends) and did it without using any willpower (I gave passwords to friend, for emergency situations, so I really couldn't bypass the program for any light reasons), but sadly it didn't work on windows 10. When daily time limit ended, I didn't feel frustrated, it was more like feeling of freedom... I would say that people generally are probably not build for doing stuff when they feel like it, but to adhere to surrounding schedules. So it's probably better to set up you netflix, internet connection and such so that it has limited availability.
I got my cousin/aunt to watch "You" and we were up until 5am finishing season 1 all the way through 😵 Season 2 is on hold simply because of the weather but my goodness. So! Before finishing this video ima just say I never watch the trailers and what grabs me in is the fact I can binge a whole season, pause a show and go on to another. I'm watching a few k dramas too I finished Vagabond recently and that was upsetting...anyways I know this video is gonna be awesome thumbs up!
Just watch everything I like in it then cancel it. I don't work for Netflix. Don't work for Disney+, I have seen all their Marvell movies, 2 seasons of agents of shield, 3 star wars movies, 3 x man movies and the last fantastic 4 movie , the Mandalorian 2 seasons in only one month and now cancel it. When my month free of prime ends I will cancel it, and wait for the end of expanse and sign for 1 month to see it and cancel again. I will sign Netflix to see ST discovery last 6 episodes, cobra Kai season 3 and the last 4 seasons of DS9 and Orange is the new black and cancel it in one month. Netflix and Prime don't have any good movies that I haven't seen yet. I don't understand why people insist in signing 1 year or more subscriptions.
I had to do a replay. "Two seasons in 7 days?" Wow. Not a huge TV or Netflix person myself. I'll get addicted to one show that I really like, maybe two, that I'll engage in maybe once a week. I can understand obsession and addiction. The negative side of it is as you explained, I agree. If its keeping you from doing other important and necessary things I can certainly see it being a very negative thing. Feels good while you're in the midst of it though. Thanks for the video.👍
Lol I only used Netflix to see what the hype was about with Stranger Things! Only time I used it so far. Also, watching something for hours on a computer screen leads to getting headaches. At least that is what I noticed vs watching TV.
I kind of want to stop watching Netflix because when I see the amount of hours I spend on binge watching, I could literally have learned a new language within the past year
i made some agreement with myself that i try to not get into some genres and my rate of watching something, like series, movie, etc. became much bearable and nice that i can just think this genre is based on the romance genre. ok i dont care about it bye :)
hello,I just found out i am addicted to bingewatching.Anyways,i wanna ask u if u have reddit? I am opening a subreddit to help each other to overcome bingewatching addiction .If u have reddit would u like to be a mod
After a long time out of Netflix, I started binge watching New Amsterdam and Vikings. Im sleeping at 2am for two weeks now. Gosh, this ends now. Before, I always had two simple rules: 1. Only watch movies, so I know how long I'll be in the screen and I'm not anxious for what happens next, because movies actually end. 2. Only watch Netflix when I meet my girlfriend ( that's once a week). I'm going back to my old habits and I hope this helps someone.

I binge watched every sitcom on Netflix in a month aaaaahhh
Hope you're still healthy
Tested my screen time last week and it said 7 hours for Netflix alone on average
try 12 hours on average 🥲
I know my addiction is bad when I’ve binged whole seasons in a single day.
