@mariliagpc I'm sure Noel's son will grow up knowing how much his father loves him. Noel doesn't speak about his relationships with his children very often in a real way. I think that he is naturally reticent to let the public into his private life...with reason. More celebrities should be like that.
To say he is a terrible father because of an off the cuff comment is a bit much!
I daresay that by the time Donovan is old enough to see this he'll know his dad's sense of humor.

@mariliagpc He's being a bit flippant. He hasn't not seen his son this whole time. Just not on a daily basis.
And it's true that he isn't a man that works 9-5 and every evening with the kids, but when he has time off he has 6 months straight off.
And it turned out that he didn't miss his birthday anyways. He left Oasis @ the end of August 2009 and Donovan's B-day is in September if I don't miss my guess.

Who says it's the end? Noel hasn't, he just said he quit. He didn't say "it's the end"

This vídeo footage was taken in Portugal, not Belgium.

No, I believe it wasn't. It's a portuguese interview made in Brussels (hence the note @ 0:18). Also, this interview is promoting their only gig in Portugal, on Feb 15th, 2009 (see @ 1:01). Which means this was recorded previously - and the concert in Brussels was on Jan 13th, 2009.

Oh and I forgot the most important fact: the journalist says the public didn't mind the cold night and went to see Oasis play their recent album, Dig Out Your Soul, in Brussels @ 6:29. You can hear him say "Bruxelas" a few times in the end of the video. So there you go.

@@nataliafranz9918this footage is from a Portuguese TV broadcast when they did a concert in Portugal, Feb, 15. In their report, yes, they include clips from Belgium concert but I find it very strange the interviewer (Portuguese journalist) make a coverage in other country making questions about Portuguese players working in UK league. It's unusal. That's what I presume. 😉

@@davidcoelho5429 Sure, but brazilian interviewers do it all the time, you know. I think every foreign journalist would ask things that concern their own country because they are curious to know how much the artist can relate to them. I found another clue that they're in Brussels: @ 3:12 Noel says "I went to Portugal". If they were in Lisbon, he would've said "I came to Portugal".

@@davidcoelho5429 And you must remember that football is a very very very common subject in Oasis interviews, so the guy is trying to break the ice talking about Mourinho, etc.

What do you expect? He had a rubbish father himself. So he doesn’t know how to be a father because he never had a good example.
