It's fantastic.
Amazing Film !! Most definitely probably the most underrated film of my generation. It's much too cognitively deep of a film for most people i know to comprehend & understand. It really conveys the extent of how far some humans will go to get what desires them the most, no matter the consequence of their actions. And the film touches on so many different levels. Nicolas Refn is so talented. And most probably don't realize that he's color blind. That's why most of his films have such bright hues & color tones. I personally think he does it cause he wants others to acknowledge the misfortune that he has. Compared to a luxury most of use take advantage of.
This movie is going to be iconic.

There are plenty popular films I enjoy, I'm just miffed at the scarcity of quality original content coming out of Hollywood these days. it's all reboots, sequels, prequels and superhero flicks that many people are starting to get tired of. the most original flicks have been coming out of the independent film scene and sadly most people sleep on them.
I equally liked and disliked this film. I'm glad I watched it. It wasn't a waste of time at all... but it kinda fucked me up.

yeah! it just left this impact, that is what Refn was going for. He says that film making is art, and art is supposed to create impact, any form of reaction from the audience. The film itself with the music just left me mesmerized, but the really dark parts just made me feel creeped out. lol.

I watched this with a woman I loved who for whatever reason may not have loved me or did but yet as this song states cruel words were said and she became another but even yet the feel of her , the smell of her and even the taste is something ill never forget and something ill always long for. This movies ending scene encapsulated the love I had and have for you Sandra and ill never forget New Years 2022 with you, may your life continue to be as beautiful as our time was together although it came to an abrupt end.
