Thank you so much for sharing your story! I just found out I am pregnant with di-di twins at 21 weeks and am hoping and praying for a successful homebirth! Do you mind me asking where you got your twin bouncer? I've been looking for something like this, but haven't found anything!

You did that mommy!! Congratulations, the twins are beautiful. I must have that little bouncer you have in the background. What is that called? I can't wait for the birth video. My friend twins were boy and girl and the boy was so much smaller than the the girl, then he caught up to bigger than her, now they both look the same size at 1yr and a half. I'm sure he'll catch up soon. My girls were 3oz apart at birth, but at 1st appointment they were 8oz apart. Be glad when they catch up to same size then they will look more alike.

Freya! Congratulations. I love that you were able to have such a beautiful home birth. I’m curious about the laws regarding home births where you are. In the US they are very strict and restrictive. If you are considered of advanced maternal age (anyone over 35!) or are having multiples, these are considered high risk pregnancy factors and they don’t allow you to have a home birth. If a midwife assists in some states they can even go to jail. Personally, when I had my first at 30, I had a lot of family and friends who thought I was crazy to take the “risk” of home birth, even though the rate of maternal and fetal death in the US is very high in hospitals, and the rate of C sections is also extremely high, once you go into a hospital (in NJ it is 40% of births end up being C sections!). Anyway, just curious about your experience.

I love this!! Way to go!! My daughter was born at 2:22am in room 2. Her hospital security anklet was number 2, and I believed she scored a 2 on one of the tests they run. It was crazy! So so cool!

Wow, what an amazing experience ❤️ I have a two year old girl and had a home birth. My labor was 26 hours, lots of hard contractions but only 30 minutes of pushing. So crazy! I’m having twins and a home birth. I’m a little nervous and haven’t talked to my midwives yet but I’m hoping they relief some of my concerns. I just needed to see someone else having a twin home birth to know that it was possible.
It's totally possible! Just listen to your body and trust in your own strength. You may want to look up "Legaci Birth", a channel dedicated to natural birth stories here on RUclips. That gave me a lot of inspiration.
Also, Sarah Schmid has a video of here unassisted twin birth.

I live in Germany and got it used. Quite a few people have these here, but it may be that it's not easy to find in the States.

Yay!! congrats, i had my twins early at 33.6 wks in November 2021, and it was a painful delivery C-section , NICU no choice and it was a painful process to go thru. GOD Bless.

I am currently expecting twins this month. My first was at a birthing center and my second was at home. I would love to have a home birth with these babies as well but living in rural Alaska no midwives would take me on. So my options or an unassisted homebirth or your typical hospital birth. Ugh. A hard choice.
