I am glad to hear more people are refusing cervical exams. I requested one once my midwife arrived at my house while in labor, turned out I was 10 cm and could push whenever I wanted. I wasn’t even sure I was in true labor! I am planning my second home birth, due in Feb. 2023. Congrats!
I remember when I watched a video and you had chosen not to tell us about your birth plan, I thought “she’s having a home birth” and doesn’t want to hear the comments about how dangerous it is or how unmedicated births aren’t special. They are, had one in March and wow, euphoric. Congrats. Welcome to Jude ❤
Wow! Amazing and so Beautiful!! I also loved seeing how Jared helped you through labor and delivery. Brought tears to my eyes. Yall are a very special couple. Such a blessing to get to watch videos about your family. ❤ Congratulations! And congratulations on your 3rd baby now.❤
Yay congratulations!! I have had both my babies at home and it’s such a calm experience, I’m currently very newly pregnant and planning for my 3rd home birth! Such a good story! Thanks for sharing ❤️
Congratulations! I just delivered my first, 10/11/22! She was born on her due date (which I so wasn’t expecting)! I also had a home birth! Water birth and similarly if I would have went into labor the next day I wouldn’t have gotten the midwife I was most comfortable with. Excited to follow along as our babies are a day apart in age!
i am SO excited to watch this. i just found out im welcoming a baby GIRL on feb 28 🥹 i am having a hospital birth but hoping for second baby i will have a home birth if i can get a midwife!
Congrats! I can do relate to you Beth around control. I’m currently 18 weeks pregnant and starting to think about my birth plan and hearing how you released it is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing can’t wait to see the birth blog. Also love hearing from fellow Canadian moms ❤
I’m so excited for y’all! This is truly inspiring 🤍 now I’m thinking of posting my labor experience; although, it’s been a few months. The way you talk about Jude’s birth brings me back to our baby girl lol Godspeed 🕊
You are very fortunate that your water didn’t break while laboring. I had an unmedicated birth with my first baby and my water broke early on. I labored for 13 hours after my water broke and let me tell you, contractions are on a whole other level when you don’t have that barrier there anymore. I had my baby in a hospital and didn’t have a tub available. Hardest thing I’ve ever done, but I’m pregnant with my second and planning on a natural birth again. It’s such a great experience.
SO happy for the both of you. God is so gracious. Your baby boy is absolutely precious! I cried when I saw your instagram video of Vivian meeting Jude. I just found out I’m expecting baby #2 at the end of May 2023. I had my first very shortly after you had Vivian. I’m beyond excited for my daughter Rilynn to meet her future baby sister/or brother. What a sweet and beautiful moment!!
Congratulations! 💙 I was so looking forward to this video. We are going to be ttc in the next year and I’ve really been learning so much about home birth. Your experience makes me excited and encouraged! Can’t wait to hear more about your experience, maybe a q&a home birth edition?
40 weeks and 4 days over here waiting on my third home birth with baby #3. I delivered at 40+2 with my first en 40 weeks with my second. I am so so so discouraged right now and I feel like it will never happen. Glad to hear yours happened at 40+5! Congrats on baby, he's gorgeous!
I had a accidental home birth as my labour was 4 hours total and my husband has said he will never do it again 😂 we almost didn't have the midwife there! I would love another home birth but maybe a little more planned next time. I will for sure have my hubby watch this one! Home birth is a truly beautiful thing!
It was so nice listening to your birth story. I gave birth to our second (also boy after girl) the day you posted this. We had so many similarities in our labor and delivery, specifically the foreign sounds during pushing lol😅 Congratulations on your baby boy! 💙
Congratulations! I would love to give birth like that. How fortunate to experience it. With my third I did give birth with a midwife, but in hospital. It was so peaceful and really the easiest birth! I wanted a water birth, but they couldn’t offer it, but suggested I stand in the shower for a bit. She was born before I could even make it to the shower 😂
Wow one of the best positive birth stories I’ve listened to! My baby girl is due February 24th. I love the way you spoke about crying out to Jesus. So encouraging and made me tear up. Congratulations!
This is so beautiful. I’m unexpectedly pregnant right now and I’m also thinking about home birth. My first pregnancy home birth was NO option for me, I thought the hospital was much safer and I’m easier and didn’t want the ‘dirt’ at home. But there happened some things that weren’t really discussed, more interventions, everything felt really rushed and they had not enough staff, and I believe that this can affect your baby. My first baby was really uneasy, cried a lot, had reflux, and still is a bad sleeper. I’m not saying that all of this is because of the hospital birth, but I believe it has some effect. So I’m really leaning towards home birth this time, to do it more natural and relaxing. But on the other hand I’m afraid that I can’t do it. Last I was in a lot of pain so I needed the epidural and also puked the whole labour, which was about 18 hours. So it’s a hard decision for me…
I love ya'll!❤ Thank you for sharing your birth experience!🙂 Congratulations!💐 Thank you for sharing how the Holy Spirit lead you to have a home birth. I love seeing you do life together and being a support to each other. I was a homemaker for 12 years, I think only impart because we had family housing that was rent free during that time. Money was tight but God always provided. And I absolutely loved that season in my life when my boys were young, and getting to be home with them.Though there were challenges, this kept me close to God. I still wish I could stay home, even though they are all in school. I live in North Florida, I'm married to my husband of 20 years, Jonathan Kleiser. We have 3 sons. Now, I work full time as a care coordinator for moms that are pregnant and their infants up to 3yrs of age at Jackson Care Healthy Start. I love love love being a mom, and wish I could still stay home with them. They are 13, 10 and 7 yrs old now. ( Josiah, Jacob and Caleb ) You are such an encouragement to other young moms, as well as to me, as I see you navigate work, home life, marriage and motherhood with Christ and the power of His word. Ya'll are a light!! God's blessings to you all forever!🌠 💕
He's beautiful. Congratulations to the happy new parents and big sister Vivy. God bless. Quick questions - Are we calling Jude "JJ" or "J [squared] = J2" as a nick name?
Also, no one talks about who cleans up the pool! So definitely thanks for mentioning and will keep in mind if i would want to do a home birth with my second!
What an amazing experience! So happy for you guys! Congrats on Jude 🥰 can you do a video about coping with the pain without meds? Due in November and am trying to glean all the wisdom I can! I know you mentioned the comb, counter pressure, breathing, warm water. Anything else you could add or give more information about for a video? Thanks for sharing your wonderful story and family ❤️
Since all the Covid stuff things have been kind of crummy and still are in some places for a hospital birth.Sometimes husbands cant go up with wives for hours until they decide she is in active labor. Masks when other people come in room. Even saw a woman who had to keep a mask on the whole labor and delivery
We've recently launched a book business called Personalised Children's Books, they are personalised learning books and we have FREE downloadable materials for your kids! I'll be happy to send it xx
