We visited the Mini assembly plant in Oxford this summer. A wonderful and fascinating tour. I totally recommend that any Mini fan or owner should visit there if you are ever in that part of The UK. GREAT!!
So sad to say goodbye to the Clubman.. I had a couple over the last few years and loved both of them. Back in the 1970s my dad had an original, an orangey red colour with the wooden panels along the outside, (although I think it was called the countryman in those days) I truly hope one day they’ll try it again.
Goodbye clubman You was the best mini Cooper in history the non regular Cooper yes the comments might kill me but better than a paceman better than the four-door mini Cooper such a mistake
I've got your back - and agree 100% about the 4 door hardtop - I've never experienced a Paceman but have owned a couple R60 S's - according to the folks I've talked to at my closest dealership they said the Clubman (F54) just weren't selling - I think I had that conversation after I'd just taken delivery of my 2nd F54 in six months time so I had to counter with: "I guess I go against the grain then now don't I?!" SAVE CLUBBY!
@@Scotty_in_Ohio Yeah honestly the North American market is unfortunately the most stupidest market for vehicle sales It's just I I don't understand You got all-wheel drive you got more space four-door mini don't have all wheel drive and it's just unique but everyone wants the same thing which is crazy.
@@Scotty_in_Ohio I think the F54 suffered from being sold next to the F60. I think the F54 is a better driving experience hands down, but the F60 driving experience is still very good and it's an easier car to live with as a daily driver. It's so much easier to get in and out of. My wife has an F54, and I do love it, but if we could only keep one of them, we'd have to keep the F60 just based on practicality.
I want my next car to be an R55, which is weird to say in the year 2024 when I'm dailying an F60......but these things are so cool

I still have my R55s Hampton, so this video is very cool.
Glad to hear it.

Lovely
Does anyone know how many R55 JCW were produced or brought to North America in 2012?
I’m curious myself. I know the JCW variant was pretty rare in the US.
I have a 2011 r55 n16 clubman, where is the ambient temperature sensor located?
I think it’s down near the toggle switches. It looks like a small circular button.
