  • Hi programmers! Hope this video helps you create your realistic true first-person character for ue5. If you guys want more advancements to make this character even more realistic, let me know different things to add in the comments below and I'll make a tutorial for whatever I can. I plan on making another tutorial soon for depth of field and a true headbobbing system to make our character even more realistic. Anyways, goodluck on your development journey guys :)

    Hey. Can you please make a tutorial for a FP with a spring arm like in every shooter. So you have the real body with arms but also Spring Arms that are only visible for u.

      Definitely I can, however, this will probably be a tutorial down the line because of the fact that I haven’t even gotten to picking up guns and items yet. But, that gameplay mechanic should be as simple as putting a spring arm in ur fp bp and then making the arm mesh a child of that spring arm. Then adjusting the value of the spring arm to get it to look exactly how you want!

    There is no input on my ThirdPerson file so I cant add the spring action. Can u help me pls

      When you say spring action, do you mean input action? If so, you can add another input action pretty easily by just duplicating any of your other ones in the input folder.       @@SarpKozbekci was your starting point the third person template? And what version of ue are you using?

      @@SarpKozbekci if youre using the third person template provided by unreal, then you should have a section where there is an input mapping context and input actions. Again, I could probably help further in our discord community
