The doctor on the stand was well prepared and doctors also use situations as a learning lesson to help future patients. Apparently, MJ doctor was desperate for money and was just caught with his hands in the cookie jar, allegedly. He has children by 4 different women, according to reports. He probably had a lot of child support to pay. Michael was supposed to have a machine monitoring his breathing that would have gone off to let someone know it was unstable so they could put on an oxygen mask. This whole thing is very sad. The doctor was distracted by all his women and personal problems, allegedly.
This should be shown in law school.... as how not to handle a witness brighter than you are. And never ask questions you can't articulate as well as your witness.
I love this doctor- smart and competent! it seems irresponsible to give someone so many drugs as a cocktail, without monitoring their vitals, especially for a prolonged period of time.
Could this atty have possibly screwed this up any more than he did? If I'm Murray sitting there watching my attorney blow it like this, I'm starting to mentally prepare myself for prison.
He was given it during the History Tour. Every doctor did not say no. But the one who gave it to him was a doctor who was qualified during History tour.
😂😂 I think Dr. Murray’s lawyer just got put in his place!! He can try to sugar coat it however he wants, but he can’t manipulate this Detective, he knows this case!! 😂✊🏼
A good doctor will usually mop the floor with a good lawyer during cross-examination, because the mean IQ of a good MD greatly exceeds the mean IQ of a good attorney.
The defense attorneys should have never allowed for ANY witness, including THIS expert witness to "speculate" and introduce alternative facts. I would have stopped this doctor from giving that testomony. Expert testomony is to be that of which is only in their field of expertise and does not include interpretation of what is NOT written in a medical chart. This witness just wanted to express his opinion of Murray being a liar. Although I agree with him, it is opinion only and is about what this doctor *thinks* took place rather than being in the area specific to "Anesthesiology" and the effects of the drugs in question.
The problem is, if you watch the whole testimony, the defense lawyer himself implied Murray lied to the police (for example about the timeframes -to which the doctor said: his testiomony is, we would.know about the timeframe, thr medication given, the amounts given, if Murray had a chart or notes about what he was doing to his patient, since he didn't it was gross negligence) . Then the lawyer went into this topic. The problem is: it helps to underline, that whatever Murray told to the police that night isn't supported by any medical notes Murray should have had. In that case the whole "if there was a drip" wouldn't be a question in the 1st place. Taken out of context, you might think it was about assumption but the main problem is they had to assume because Murray failed to do his obligation to write down everything that happened to his patient. The lawyers beautifully prove the expert's point...
The doctor becomes the lawyer , so smart and he said Hold on to the lawyer , lawyer has nothing to say except the drugs name , like a student going to school without knowing the lessons that had given a month ago
A patient doesn't dictate what he wants from a doctor but this doctor was getting paid for giving MJ what he wanted. His carelessness and greed caused the death of his patient. He was supposed to advise his patient against a procedure that it's only conducted in a hospital setting and only for the purpose of inducing anesthesia prior to a surgery and not provide it for MJ. Lady Justice was lenient on him.
Still he could have done everythibg in his power to save his patiwnt life inbcase of arrest. Giving propofol in a homes setting is one thibg. But not having medical help, medicine and equipment in case of emergency, not calling 911 immediately, giving cpr to a person with respiratory arrest -none of that was for MJs request. Murray simply didn't care - or it eas his job to not care.... who knows.
Looks like he was trying to wean him off the milk but MJ had a high tolerance for ALL those meds at this time and it was hit or miss whether he would be able to sleep. At this point, he actually needed a miracle for above.
That defense lawyer got way more than he bargained for
This doctor certainly put the defence lawyer in his place. He struggled to argue with what he said
The doctor has a confident smirk on his face.
everytime i watch this makes me mad and sad
In teh conrad murray doc. Murray says "flanagin needs to drink some pitbull I mean red bull and call me."
great doctor if the evidence is there how can the lawyer say its not

That doctor is too smart
I love this doctor- smart and competent! it seems irresponsible to give someone so many drugs as a cocktail, without monitoring their vitals, especially for a prolonged period of time.
The doctor sounds like a better lawyer than the lawyer lol
Agree with you!
Oh my that defense lawyer is getting caught up with the doctor witness.
Smart guy, he knew the defense was going to try to pull that.
This doctor explains well
Could this atty have possibly screwed this up any more than he did? If I'm Murray sitting there watching my attorney blow it like this, I'm starting to mentally prepare myself for prison.
Laws have mercy. Dr Murray’s lawyer SUCKS ass. Murray need to just be prepared to go to jail at that point cuz that doctor came with the RECEIPTS
Shit that defence lawyer digging himself a deep hole!
Defence lawyer be like : why are u doing this to me doc??
He didn't give him just 25, it wouldn't have been enough to keep him asleep. He really was unqualified.
@ that is not the point!😑 This whole thing was done under the thoughtful conspiracy. The Murray and AEG
@Hemant Kumar : He shouldn't have given it to Michael. Every Dr before Murray said no. Murray should have said no, but Murry was offered money.
He was given it during the History Tour. Every doctor did not say no. But the one who gave it to him was a doctor who was qualified during History tour.
killed him for his catalog...jackson owned half of sony' cataloge. when he died it all went back to sony....
EXACTLY ❤
I think the doctor just panicked and tried to hide evidence.
The doctor's smile. He knows he can counter the arguments. Brilliant man, I say.
😂😂 I think Dr. Murray’s lawyer just got put in his place!! He can try to sugar coat it however he wants, but he can’t manipulate this Detective, he knows this case!! 😂✊🏼
He is a doctor not a detective

Of course it makes logical sense that Murray gave him the propofol drip. Come on.
Which one out of the 2 is the lawyer? Think the guy sat down was in the wrong seat 🤣🤣
i'll recommend that defense attorney to someone who pisses me off.
That lawyer does not stand a chance. he does not know what he is talking about, doctors do...
that doctor owned that fucking lawyer
These doctors are really smart
The doctor becomes the lawyer , so smart and he said Hold on to the lawyer , lawyer has nothing to say except the drugs name , like a student going to school without knowing the lessons that had given a month ago
Can anyone cite the name of this Cardiologist??
The defense attorney is playing with the wrong witness.
Very smart Dr
That doctor is bright

Looks like he was trying to wean him off the milk but MJ had a high tolerance for ALL those meds at this time and it was hit or miss whether he would be able to sleep. At this point, he actually needed a miracle for above.
