I almost bought a Rail Driver setup 'bout 10-15 years ago. if I remember correctly I was playing MSTS a lot then. then I moved onto Truck Simming and then RPG's. I just dug out my copy of MSTS and found that it will run on windows 10. graphics are sure dated though, but yeah, it still looks good. love the TSW scenario's too. all you guys on here will touch on something I like and help me expand my knowledge base. keep up the good work

I’ve messaged the devs several times, all the US freight dlcs literally have the depot and infrastructure and prototype supporting Amtrak and yet they just refuseeeeeed to do it. But yea let’s just get are 427th British route and 70th class66:
They say it’s because of liscensing but that’s bs because they have the northeast corridor with Amtrak it makes zero sense why they can’t plant the p42’s into the existing maps. Amtrak long distance and American steam are what players want and they just push out more British crap and British steam engines aka toy trains
It would be nice if there were passenger trains like VIA or GO, the reason why im saying this is because in the real world freight trains sometimes need to deal with train traffic. Not just freight but passenger to.
The gp9’s wheel slippage due to lack of power is so fun to mess with when cars are in tow, I love this map and I bought it this week after I bought every single US freight route all within the last month and have hundreds of hours of drive time at this point. I had train sim 2020 installed since it came out and same with 3 but just started playing when I accepted my triple decker model layout I cannot afford to even purchase a new dcc system to get it running and to complete it would likely be ten grand

Nothing else entertained me like lspdfr did and that’s just me. I’m sorry that I don’t watch your other content and I miss lspdfr.
Try playing Run8 Train Simulator. The physics and handling are more challenging than TrainSimWorld. The graphics arent as great,but its pretty accurate to how trains are ran in real life.
I'm not optimistic about TSW2 and I've already decided that I've put too much money into this game so I likely won't be buying unless there's something in there that REALLY catches my eye. I've been waiting and waiting for the editor feature that was announced YEARS ago and still doesn't exist (and likely never will). I've been wanting to make a Canadian pacific rocky mountain crossing sort of route (somewhere along the Calgary to Vancouver route) but without an editor it'll never happen. I think dovetail realised that if they released the editor there would be so many producers sharing excellent free content and they would lose profits from their own DLCs.

i do street art in all the spots Jeff passed on the sim hahha when i heard him say look at the graffiti i had to replay it a few times to see what it was and see if the designers actually got real photos of the graffiti in those spots for realism but i didn't recognize the pieces or the names of the artists so i think its just made up art by the programmers and designers of the game
21:31 if i saw a train going that fast through my town i'd be bitching!!! i remember a time i lived literally across a one lane street from the tracks. there was one morning i woke up to cops all over, they had shut down the railroad because there was a 2 year old kid on the tracks. it was like 6 in the morning. That would be SUPER dangerous to go through a town like that lol

anyone going to say anything about the fact that only the first and second engine were switched on? i guess the 3rd, 4th and 5th could be used for breaking, but this seems like a pretty flat plane. have I missed anything, DTG?
Years ago, walking through town at dusk with a friend. We came up to a train crossing and we had to cross quick as a train was approaching. We safely made it across and I swear that train had to be doing at least 70mph. It was very long and we were about 10 feet from it, watching it go by. Seeing sparks fly from some of the wheels and hearing all the air control each rail car, it was a cool experience.
You should try Derail Valley Overhauled. It's alot better than TSW. You can do whatever you want, no restrictions, (you go too fast, you derail) built for VR, and it's stupid addicting. You can add jobs together with the right licenses and take super long trains or short trains. I don't see myself using TSW again. And it's only $20.
Watching the CN trains reminds me of my dad and grandpa that use to work for CN and it bring back awesome memories!!! Thanks Jeff!!!!! for doing this DLC

Don't mean to be "that guy" lol, but CN trains on the Oakville Sub in real life are held to 65 max, and passenger is held to 100. No freight train can safely hit that speed
Dovetail is crappy company. It will be another game for 25€ but every dlc for 40€. You said it - they give us a box and you are inside it.From what you said it feels clearly like paid update. Train simulator is branded like TS 2020 but the game released in 2014 and it was called Train simulator 2014 - it says a lot about them :) Btw 4 locomotives hauls 10 cars? Interesting level of realism :D

On the new TSW, The Bakerloo Line is from London underground tube that stretches from Elephant & Castle to Wealdstone very short route possibly smallest line on London Underground so fits into TSW routes , main stops would be Oxford Circus , Charing Cross, Baker Street 👍 The best routes on TSW are West Somerset & East Coast connection , UK routes but are amazing !!

My favorite freight loco is the EMD SD70ACe-T4. I wish they could add that or something similar in the new update

If you heard the air brake system the train probably tried to stop after coming so close to you..
Cool little note though when you play break it down your loco breaks down and the train you drive in this mission actually drops this GP9 off for you
