I signed up for this course and I cannot believe how good it is. I know you can't be sure before you sign up, but it's well thought out, clear, well written, and highly educational. It doesn't just teach you how to build the drone in great detail with great diagrams instructions and videos, it also explains why the decisions were made and goes over other drones on the market and how things could be done differently.
    I'll be ordering parts soon

Is there a kit for this? I don't have access to a 3d printer.

I saw your course on the CPS 5, does it include access to 3d models of the drone? Does that $600 to build include the course price? Is a Pi3 OK, or does it have to be a Pi4? And is there a fix for the short battery life? Those off the shelf $1200-$1600 drones also have 4x the 1 hour battery life you said the CPS5 has in another video.

Yes, the course includes all resources we have, so 3D models included.
You can see the price of the course on our webpage, and it's for the access to the course, so it's separate to the prices of components. You can see the breakdown of every component price in our BOM (available in the free sample). They sum up to about $750 right now. The $600 figure from this video is outdated because of the recent rapid increase of certain components such as RPi.
      RPi 3 will work great.
The claims about 4x the battery life really depend on how fast you're swimming in these tests. For example CPS5 can hover in 1 spot for at least 5h on a full charge. We say that there's 1h of swimming around at reasonably not high speed, like 1m/s but not constantly. You can also extend the battery life by 20% if you buy cells with more capacity.
