Well not exactly, When Don't cry came out( March, 85) Rob Gardner still the drumer of GNR. So Steven's version was the the second "Adaptation".

aca te queria escuchar y nada que ver pero es evidente no es axel rose el solo imita el rango de axel es tenor y bajo baritono pero no digo que lo hace mal.pero aca esta la diferencia el imitar escuche el resto de los temas con la voz alta y muy bien pero aca si ya se nota mal.pero lo felicito por que en los otros temas es lo mas parecido que escuche.

pienso lo mismo, en dont cry debía asemejarse mas a la voz exigida en vivo de axl y no a la de estudio. pero lo hace muy bien. Al final levanta como yo te digo!!!!!
El detalle es que el tipo tiene muy buenos growls, pero falla a la hora de cantar, de armonizar, falta mucha técnica vocal aún, cosa que Axl le sobraba.

Would prefer a mix of Steven’s groove with Matt’s fills. It’s too plain with just a simple beat, sounds like he’s playing it for the first time with just straight grooves

La diferencia de Axl Rose es que manejaba muy buen los graves como los agudos. Sin duda estos cover hacen más grande a Axl
Esta bien. Pero no se olviden q el tema de axel lleva coros. Y aca no habia nadie q lo ayude. Mas teniendo en cuenta.. q si los graves no son su fuerte.

estuve escuchando todas las canciones grabadas, el cantante no tuvo que cambiar o fingir una voz nasal muy cómica, estaba bien como inició... y sobre los guitarristas... si fuera él o los saco de la banda o me voy y formo otra con verdaderos guitarristas.
En mi humilde opinión a mi me parece que el cantante no quiso imitar a Axel en este tema.... Y a mi me encantó!!!

Watched several other videos of this guy doing his best Axl and they all sounded pretty good. Not sure what happened here, but the vocals on this one are absolutely horrendous.

While Steven has more feeling, Matt is a much more technical drummer. In this song, I just like the way Matt Sorum playing ... Who's agree with me? Hit tumbs up!

I like Matt's drum rolls in the studio version on UYI albums. Steven doesn't do drum rolls at all if at all. Same thing with Don't Cry Steven doesn't do the drum rolls that I like about the studio versions of both songs.Not to say this is bad cuz I have heard this version on the Don't Cry single that had 3 versions of this song on it. 1. UYI 1(Original) 2. UYI 2 (Alt Lyrics) 3. Demo version with Steven on drums.Civil War drumming is what taught and go me into drumming I the first place. And I actually HATE how Matt KILLS and MURDERS all Steven's songs with GnR when playing them live. I hate how Matt plays Welcome to the Jungle esp cuz Matt plays the high hat at slower beats then when Steven does the song in the studio verison of it. And makes it sounds like it slows down the song and slows down the energy of the song. Frank does an OK job of bringing back the energy of the song BUT................THERE IS NOTHING like Steven Adler playing Welcome to the Jungle with FEELING and passion. Unlike Matt. Sorry Matt.

si, suena diferente y creo que mejor el sonido de la batería con matt en este tema, especialmente porque como el mismo lo comentó toca más sutilmente los platillos.
El es el original baterísta para esta gran canción...
Maverick Rules de hecho esta es la version original, estoy seguro que a la hora de llevarla al estudio Steven le hubiera agregado arreglos muy buenos como hizo Matt, pero ya eso no paso Steven prefiere tocarla como la tocaba en el demo a tocarla como la toco Matt Sorum.
