This is from the Rumbo studio demos sessions in 1986. The version of this song the way it was meant to be, played a half step slower. You can immediately tell the difference in the opening riff, as this is Izzy playing and on the UYI 1 album it was overdubbed by Slash. Plus obviously with Steve's more tempered beat than Matt's more bombastic drumming. Just absolutely beautiful . And it's just a demo.

They have been playing this song many years before Use Your Illusion (already in 1985) and there are proofs of this even here on youtube with most of them from '87. That's years before he got fired. Btw he got fired because of being too high to perform in the studio (yes, it is kinda ironic)

This was recorded at Mystic Studios, Aug '85. A low-fi version of it was on the "Rumbo" bootleg though, yes.
