in my personal experienc, it’s incredibly fun, turns a 10/10 game to a 12/10 game, even if crystal hunt isn’t your thing the ammount of stuff there is to mess around with in sandbox has expontisllu grown. literally my only critique is in crystal hunt, there seems to be a incredibly low map count, you’ll prob discover every playable map in your first hour of gameplay so it gets a bit bland quite fast but the combat and new upgrades are so fun it frankly didn’t even matter

@@_callmefake certainly more than enough, it took me about a week to complete my first crystal hunt run with ~hour or two play sessions most days and i only touched 2 of the 5 skill trees. the enemy ai is about the same as your used to but they do have much more varied equipment, and atleast on pcvr in some of the colosium challenges i saw atleast 6 enemies at once if not more, in the actual crystal hunt mode there was as many enemies as that room spawned, which on the higher difficulties could be a LOT

Damn! The new staff interactions look so cool! This has made me want to go back into nomad and try a magic only run mostly utilizing gravity staff, even without the new cool 1.0 content.
I’m having a blast with 1.0. The leveling adventure game play is amazing and so is the sandbox. The vanilla spells and the different merges are great. The fact that you can imbue your hands with the spells, without a mod, is a great addition.

Honestly, I don't understand why some games DON'T let people mod. I was a huge fan of the rock-climbing sim, The Climb back on my Rift and I remember thinking - What a brilliant and unlimited game this would be if they would allow mods. If people could build their own climbing walls and challenges, The Climb would be one of the biggest games in VR. But instead, it is fated to VR obscurity. Such a disappointment and a waste of an excellent opportunity....
That's a stupid question blade and sorcery 1.0 is purely amazing i don't what anyone says I love it except for the unfortunate detail that they didn't add survivable dismemberment in to thebace game but there will be mods for that so it's easy to look passed

But since Nomad is on entirely different hardware, and I believe was mentioned to be made in a different engine and/or code, it's going to take a while to port.
It’s not just blade and sorcery, this is literally one of the best engines for vr ever seen. It has amazing physics (mostly), good movement, and looks stunning with extremely good performance. It feels less like this game is blade and sorcery and more like it’s a demo for a huge open world game
Yeah 1.0 feels awesome the abilities are so much better now. Been a long wait but they for sure did not disappoint. Now the core feels smooth and polished hoping now they will focus on adding more bosses and harder enimies to fight. I wouldn't even mind spending like 10 to 20$ or so extra on a full fledge dlc pack if it allows them to add more content dungeons and bosses with some new weapons and armor sprinkled on lol
When i see drifter in irl. I don't think of him looking like that (which isn't a bad thing) i always think of his Blade and Sorcery avatar. Tge reason is because the first video i saw was a Blade and Sorcery mod show case video.
*spoilers* I found the ending quite disappointing both endings are a bit sad I was hoping for a final boss because hector gets repetitive after the first 2 times. Even with the sword of Naa that you get after you do the puzzle it just still feels like something is missing Hector, even with the upgrades, he still is to repetitive. the most fun part was the dungeons and beating the boss I just wish that there was more than just a sword for the ending.
Along time ago I though I heard something about modders being able to make custom dungeons because they re worked the dungeon system. Did that ever happen? Or no.
The new update is fun but I can't bring myself to play it for more than two hours at a time it's just so goddamn repetitive it's just the same dungeon over and over again and then after you do like three of them you get to go to the boss fight dungeonand then you have to do four normal dungeons and the cycle just repeats over and over again I really wish they added like a couple new types of dungeons so it's not just the same thing over and over again

It wasn’t worth it, let me tell you why. Duration of development: Four years. What we got new: Skills (Half of them already existed.) Two more dungeons. ONE boss. (Arguably a very good one but still.) What we should’ve gotten: An actual campaign, not two more dungeons, specially when some can look *EXACTLY* the same. BETTER AI. More story elements. (All we get are dumb notes.) Yes I get it, the game is great, but it has always been great, for four years or developing they barely added anything. Still feels like sandbox with extra steps.
I will agree that the wait was a long time, and I don't want to assume there will be more, but considering that modding is still available, I'd definitely like to see what mods come about based on Crystal Hunt mode. People have already been making "campaign" mods for the game, so now that the game is actually built for it, I'm excited for what comes next.

The end is also a massive disappointment, the end of a story the hero’s journey should show how far they have come a test of strength. But it doesnt do that instead they tease you with a cool sword before taking it from you and killing you. The secret ending allows you to get the sword but still it just is not a very cool ending. This is just my opinion, if you have a different one cool i dont feel like arguing about them.

I just wish there was a bit more clarity on stuff, I've seen new players have absolutely no idea what to do. They don't know what to with gems, they don't know how to put on clothes, they don't know that you could place items in the player home, etc
the only way for this update to be better is a new spell type like earth. and more upgrades for the boss, and another boss like some crazy wizard guy that beats the golem and he uses merged magic.

At first I was dissapointed they didn't update the ai swordfighting or anything so, individually, the ai feels very dumb and easy to cheese in many ways... Then I faced 'the eye' faction and it actually caused me to use the 2nd life thing for the first time...I ripped that mage's arms off, but im getting off track... My point is when you have several ai around you and youre fighting 1 v many, esp with spells and ranged, its really fun and while yeah all it takes is a stab to the face on an enemy, thats more time for others to swing at you, so you need to parry and slow time and use spells to get some breathing room, its amazing

Update: I did it yesterday, and honestly... It was much cooler than I remembered.

@@piglonx5907 I haven’t experienced that. The FPS drop could be from your setup/pc or the gpu not set up correctly when it comes to the graphics.
@@BananaYank Each of the 3 spells has a crosspath with the body skill that lets you do it. Gravity punch is the best imo.

I think it’s a great game but the only thing I have a problem with the new update is my game randomly crashes when I’m doing dungeons and doing the progression mode.

At first I was dissapointed they didn't update the ai swordfighting or anything so, individually, the ai feels very dumb and easy to cheese in many ways...
Then I faced 'the eye' faction and it actually caused me to use the 2nd life thing for the first time...I ripped that mage's arms off, but im getting off track...
My point is when you have several ai around you and youre fighting 1 v many, esp with spells and ranged, its really fun and while yeah all it takes is a stab to the face on an enemy, thats more time for others to swing at you, so you need to parry and slow time and use spells to get some breathing room, its amazing
If only the floating gravity zones didn't stop your fps to 20
