In this remote sensing lecture in hindi series we have discussed the various key points along with the remote sensing basics or remote sensing basic concepts.
In this video we discuss : remote sensing introduction, what is remote sensing, remote sensing definition.
In the above remote sensing lecture in hindi we discuss remote sensing satellite as well as all the remote sensing basics.

remote sensing introduction -------
remote - Something which is far away
sensing - Getting information or getting data ; remote sensing is getting or collecting information form far away or without being contact with the object. It is known as remote sensing.
what is remote sensing ----
many of people cannot define that what is remote sensing : remote sensing is a technology of acquiring information about earth surface without actually being in contact with it.This is done by sensing and recording reflection or emitted energy & processing, analyzing and applying that information.
remote sensing definition ------
According to Lillesand and Kilfer - " the science & art of obtaining an information about an object,area,phenomena (earth surface) through the analysis of data acquired by a device that is not in direct contact with the object,area,phenomena under the investigation"
In other words remote sensing can be defined as remote sensing is the science and art of obtaining information about an object, area or phenomena through satellite.The science & art of acquiring information about an object without entering in contact with it, by sensing or recording the reflected or emitted energy and processing analyzing and applying that information is remote sensing.

there are various number of remote sensing satellite in which some if them are --1 IRS( Indian remote sensing satellite )
2 sputnik 1 (by Russia )
3 explorer 1 ( by USA) & others .
