- Time to ride! Pipeline the Surf Coaster at SeaWorld Orlando was testing several times today, now with human riders! Moving over to the other areas, lots of the pathway and splash area are being worked on and we've also seen some additions to the station!
We also check out the 2024 rumored roller coaster area where there are more work walls & discuss rumors that it may not be a straddle coaster, but instead an all-new prototype style ride.
Of course, we couldn't help but include some awesome drone footage of not only the testing from the air, but of the riders on the train!

The ultimate curveball; SeaWorld puts in the first Axis coaster from S&S.
Unlikely as 2 have been sold in Europe
i think it will go to an independent park, maybe kennywood lake compounce or hersheypark
Wow, they are literally floating up into the air with the negative Gs.
thanks Dan... I think this is going to be awesome and hopefully chain wide
You can hear the sand inside the track, good call for a "surf" coaster!
I love the pink chickens...me and my wife both use that term now because of you lol
Appreciate the Pink Chicken love!
Haven't been to SeaWorld for years. I remember you covering Mako when that was being built. I have been 'off grid' for a while and it looks like SeaWorld has changed a lot in recent years with new rides. Always liked your vlogs.
Ok, I was skeptical like everyone else, but that LITERAL airtime looks fun as hell
Dan, you have some pull, tell them to add a water feature, the roller coaster going through and under a water pipe curl? Makes all the sense in the world don’t you think? Great work
They better not remove kraken, that was my favorite headache!
SeaWorld San Antonio and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay should be the next 2 parks to receive B&M Surf Coasters.
That’s some exciting news to hear about 2024!!! 🎉 and honestly Pipeline looks like you can catch some air on
Hoping for that new coaster to start showing up👀👀👀👀👀
Construction walls for it are already up.
Going to miss Empire of the Penguins... I thought it was a cool ride.
17:55 This shot really shows how extreme the heartlining is on this ride type. It's not so extreme anywhere else on the layout, but heading into the breaks you can really see just how much they have to account for the rider's position.
I hope to ride in 3 weeks when I visit.. thanks for posting video update
The first new standup coaster we’ve seen in years!
Best guess-timation of when it's opening in spring? Hitting the park up late April for comfort free breaker and hope it's open
I saw some mean shuffling on that launch/rollback 16:22
Now that Ice breaker is back to 48 inches they don’t need a family coaster quite as bad as we thought so maybe it won’t even be a family coaster. But more that likely it will be a family coaster
Wow!
I was wondering what those walls were all for when I went 2 weeks ago. Didn’t know where all the walls were at first so it took me extra long to get where I needed. I tried walking through the Arctic part to get to Mako and realized I couldn’t, then had to walk all the way around to Manta.
4:59 I can understand the german guy
Thanks for another great update dan!
Great update as usual Dan! Not sure why but on some of those runs it looked to be running a little slower then before. Do you think? Hopefully an opening date gets sent in the next couple weeks. 🤞
Thanks for the update. I'm guessing for variation that they maybe thinking a "Winged coaster" for the next project ?
Seems logical, considering how B&M dominate their coaster lineup with all the parks collectively.
They lowered the height restriction back to 48" on Ice Breaker? Anyone know what caused them to raise it in the first place, and what changed in order to bring it back down?
They removed the not so comfort “comfort collars” from the ride and now there is a seat belt instead. Allows so 48 instead.
The comfort collars were bashing the little ones in the head causing complaints so they finally just removed them and put seat belts so they could lower the height back as intended.
It has seatbelts now but I don’t know the details
they removed the comfort collars which gives you more air time. It's a lot better now
That's great to hear. The ride was always intended to be more of an intense family coaster, so I'm glad that it can serve that audience now.
I was so confused hearing Germans speaking in the observation tower 😂😂😂
Excellent video, as usual!
Can you do more epic universe updates????
Wing coaster and make it like penguin themed or seagull themed due to the wing over drop
I hope the next expansion is a couple flat rides. 1 intense thrill and 1 family flat. A drop tower or S&S Swing. And maybe some standard swings with a water fountain interaction on the lake or something like that. I don't think they need another new coaster right now. Some huge gaps in the line up. Would be nice if the dang indoor trackless dark ride they paid for a few years ago worked too. Not a great ride but like what the heck?
if this is ready by summer i will be so hyped as i am going around then
It’s opening this April
@@Dust_bucket lets go it looks so good too
Considering that the only stand up coaster I’ve been on was shockwave at drayton manor it looks so much better and more comfortable!
Wow, who would have thought we would see the day when a rollercoaster would be built for us to finally stand up in it?!? 🎉🎉🎉🎉
It already has, the B&M stand up coaster
It was first built in the 90s I think
The first stand-up rollercoaster was built in the 1990's at Drayton manor in the UK. It's an intense and very different ride experience!
Do we know exactly when and how long kraken will be down for? Going in october for the first time and really don't want to miss out on it!
It's not listed yet, but soon. Definitely not that late into the year, probably August at the latest
@@SeaworldOrlandoHistory yeah I'd like to think they'd have everything open for halloween season
Nice jamz yo!
Have they done 2 train testing?
Rmc raptor
Why is the queue so dang small?? They expect no one to ride it anymore after a year?
Midway what do you think of a rebranding for SeaWorld? Seem like they are going in a different direction with all the new coasters. Why not rebrand and reinvent themselves?
It seems that's what they are doing, it's a slow transition towards theme park modeling, but considering the declining social interest in animal based shows, it's a smart business move on their behalf. They need to start adding more flat rides to make the transition more organic though.
@@johneholder Yea sea world's main attraction was theirs shows and now that its a thing of the past they are focusing on entertainment. A few flat rides and dark rides would definitely add variety!
@@realtv101 I agree. More flats would really keep the younger audience engaged. A few thrill flats would do the teens and tweens some good too.
It looks slow. Can they speed it up on the launch?
I hope the 2024 coaster is like Velocicoaster 🔥
Yea cuz we don't already have enough of those or anything
@@homeboy_roy1570 it’s one of the best models
@@Thomas_Weitzel boring.
@@homeboy_roy1570 what’s ur fav type
Assprted RMC conversions. Most of them are taller faster and better in every way. B&M twisters of every shape and size also top that little shit
Do you know when pipeline is opening
Two across seating on the surf coaster - how does the track gauge compare to say a floorless B&M? Is it about the same or more narrow?
Where can I find the photos of the Antarctica ride being removed?
I wonder what will happen if you put both feet up. Because you know someone is going to try that.
That’s probably why the guy on the right side of the train had his legs up for most of the ride or at least at all the airtime moments
@@joshuadarts2687 crotch crunch?
So will this 2024 coaster interact with Manta?
Let’s see if the people on the ride got a pov video 😂😂😂
All of those construction walls....... I'm a little concerned about the impact that the new coaster will have on the sea lions area.
The new bird area by Shark Encounter has been open for about a month now. I forget exactly when they took down the walls. I was there one day and it was still walls, then a few days later, they were down. I was surprised that the enclosure was gone and that there weren't any birds there. Hope they bring at least some of them back. Has there been any word on that? I miss Duncan! He's the white-faced whistling duck that used to be in the enclosure.
Why so many SW ride rumors but nothing from BGT? Need some BGT ride rumors!
I guess Busch gardens is satisfied with Iron Gwazi for now 🤣. They advertised the hell out that ride, not to mention it opened late anyway
I'm not seeing any human test dummies in the video..
Looks really smooth
hey midway i got a question why does icebreaker have a extra fin of lsm on the vary top of the vitrail spike?
its not lsm its a brake so it does not derail
It’s to slow the train down if the train has too much speed.
its actually a magnetic brake! It looks almost identical, because its basically an lsm, but in reverse.
@@NavaNoidGMD oh ty
My nuts hurt just looking at it 😩😩
What is the song called stating at 18:08 please?
I asked for an ID on a previous video & Dan responded saying he gets his music from the library in PowerDirector, a video editing software and has no idea of the name. Broke my heart lol 💔
Can they increase or decrease the speed of the launch or is it a set speed ?
I’m not sure 100% but more than likely they should be able to change the soeed
How much is 54, in cm
16:13 Oh this aint gonna be good. Those are stand up seats
Possible hot take but pipeline surf coaster looks to have an uninspired layout. A stand up seems like an odd choice different trains or not has not been very popular at any park. With all the money sea world has and all the coaster models they went b&m stand up. That's crazy to me. Seems gimmicky with them marketing the new bouncy trains it doesn't matter it will still most likely not be a comfortable ride for men. I would it will still smash your boys and those that say they ride them fine I say to you that your downstairs mix up is tiny and you don't count. I'm sure guys with micropenis will be fine.
Just saying there really should be no hype around this ride. A stand up with tire launch and one inversion is nothing impressive
