  • This week is all about the money as we have an enriching (no pun intended) dialogue with Tori Dunlap, an amazing internationally-recognized money and career expert, New York Times bestselling author, and podcast host. As we discuss her remarkable journey to multimillionaire status, Tori unravels the complexities of 'coast FIRE' and the influence of hitting that first $100k milestone. She offers a treasure trove of insights into savvy investment strategies and underscores the transformative effects of financial literacy. Our conversation is more than a guide to wealth-it’s a rallying cry for open discussions about money, challenging societal taboos, and embracing the delicate dance of privacy in our personal lives.
Tori is also a friend of mine in real life who I’ve had the pleasure of watching first-hand as she’s grown her incredible business and personal wealth. Her journey has been so inspiring to me, and I hope you feel the same way.

Tori is phenomenal and I really enjoyed her perspective on things. My husband and I also have taught our daughter about financial responsibility, finances, investing and living below your means. Tori's parents seem like they grew up like we did. This was enjoyable, thanks Lucie.

Such a crucial topic that is money !!! you can tell Tori is an expert but I love the way her knowledge is grounded in common sens! Money can allow so much balance in couples, so much trust when it is thinked and organised. our rule at home is "divide and conquer", my husband and I have different fields of responsabilities, and would not question the other's decisions!! Amazing episode, as always!!

Context : I am not American, not living in the US, BUT I found it really interesting that she kind of dissed Donald Trump at the beginning, but made her 100k during his economy
Edit, I listened the full episode and loved it though 🤩🤩

Uhh correlation doesn’t equal causation… this is a very ignorant comment tbh.

Having seperate personal accounts is so important. My husband and I have a joint household account which we contribute to based on our incomes and we have our own seperate personal accounts, have not had one argument about finances our entire relationship

Tori Dunlap EXPLICITLY said that she is not comfortable talking about sex and her partner and it was really sneaky of you Lucie to still present those topics to her and lead her to sharing stories and details on the topics. I feel that her boundaries were not respected in many parts of this interview and really wish that you protected her more as your guest. It would have been kinder to completely take what she didn’t want off the table and not mention it at all.

I love this show, but God, it was hard watching this guest. I thought I'd enjoy much more but something about the way she discussed these topics were very off-putting. Lots of great points but ugh.
