That's so funny, I've been dying my hair since the same age and it has always said wet hair, however now when I get it professionally done they do it dry so maybe it's a box dye thing.

Me too Martina! I’ve been dyeing my hair for over 20 years (bloody hell, I’m showing my age now 😫) and used pretty much every brand on the market. I’ve never had a box dye that requires wet hair 🤔. BUT I’ve only ever used bleaches/lighteners and permanent colours, maybe semis are used on wet hair?

That's because you're hair wasnt fully healed, and also because your hair was purply dark brown . And hair dye doesnt work as good when u keep it in your bathroom cabinet or something like that for more than a couple weeks. I'd say your hair turned out dark burnt brazz. And maybe u should get advice from someone who does this often like a freind, and even a professional . Rose gold pink definitely would look awesome or even cotton candy pink!

hey there! found your videos helpful im form australia too! if you want ariel red or a blood red this is what you do i tried this product( the garnier cooper colour in your vid) waited a couple of days then dyed my hair with manic panics vampire red or vampires kiss this gave the blood red look if your in melbourne you can get them from off your tree stores of any sort of punkish place or online if you want to keep it for longer put a bit of manic panic in your shampoo and conditioner so the colour wont strip out since the manic panic isnt as damging for your hair you can do this i dont bleach my hair but have dyed it for years myself can take time so if found this to be the best route, also quick tip if your hair is getting really dry use coconut oil in your hair overnight like a mask then wash it in the morning iv found its shiner and stronger

Aww yay! I'm so glad you found my videos helpful!!! I was going for pretty much what was on the box because I've been obsessed with the ginger colour lately! I do however have a blood red Ariel wig which I LOVE to wear! Manic Panic is amazing, I have quite a few stores near me that sell it around $20. I did end up bleaching my hair and doing an ombre look and my hairdresser used some Manic Panic on me. I'm going to have to buy some coconut oil! I've heard so many good things about it. Do you have a brand you would recommend?

Any organic coconut oil is good you can get it from Coles and safe way in the health foods section just throw it in your hair put a shower cap on and you could leave it on for 2hrs or overnight I do overnight which is good

Oh btw is it a bright red in person or more like an orangey red? Did your hair turn as light as the colour on the box? Can't really tell because of the lighting :) I have dark brown hair and I want more of a dark copper so I'm hoping it will turn darker than the colour on the box. I'm planning on buying this today :)

Yeah the lighting in my old apartment was shocking! It came out as more of a coppery/red tint. Definitely not as light as it says on the box. I have pretty dark brown hair so I feel like your results will be similar. I hope it looks good for you!!
