    Lots to use here and you even showed how I can group nodes, which I had yet to see. Thank you.

    Looking nice! Maybe also a shield which covers the shape of a starship for example, if could be done.

    • @mdreamslk
      @mdreamslk  10 месяцев назад +2

      Well, use the starship mesh instead of sphere, use Triangulate node to turn the faces to tris. Rest of the setup is similar.

    why misssing face shield per frame at rendering resullt?

  • @Helbore
    @Helbore 8 месяцев назад

    Can this be adapted to other shapes other than a sphere? eg. if you stretched the sphere into an ovoid, would the hexes get stretched out too, or would they retain the proper shape?

    Help pls --- I have gone through the whole tutorial and build a working shield HOWEVER when I go to render it, the shield does not render.

      @mdreamslk  2 месяца назад

      Make sure you bake the simulation before render. Also make sure final output plugged to group output node. Delete viewer node if you have it.

    can this be done with the shields invisible till it get hit ?

    • @mdreamslk
      @mdreamslk  10 месяцев назад +1

      Yes you can use the mask created inside the geometry editor to create that type of effect through material (shader editor). For example,Use emission shader with transparent shader and mix them using mix shader. Use the mask as the factor.

    Why wasting time on showing geometry process things you didn't used to create this? its so annoying to follow your steps and later deleting the process. either stick to the absolute process or mind your own business privately

      how about mind your own business and dont watch the video? you are not paying him to make any type of demmands
