I’m so sorry. Sending condolences and care to Billy. Thank you for being so honest and open. Weight is an issue for me also. I was doing great and now have gained 15 pounds since the wedding and I need to lose it. I’m happy for your choice. ❤ i have not been exercising since my hip break. Im starting indoor bike exercise and back to my intermittent fasting for right now. 😊 I have to get a grip
@@AboutFaceWithMonaBagot Oh Mona, it’s such a struggle when we have difficulties with our weight. As I mentioned, it’s been an issue all of my life. I was able to keep off the weight for about 10 years never fluctuating more than a few pounds but boy this past couple of years has been really hard. Anyway, I’m hoping this will give me some help in loosing what I’ve gained. Hoping I can start walking when the weather gets better. It’s just so HOT here! I feel faint just thinking about it 🤣
@@concettaalcorn686 Thanks Concetta, yes 13-15 lbs will be fine for me. I’ve struggled my entire life and as I said have been able to keep most of it off. But these past couple of years has seen the weight creep up a bit. I hope I have good results as your daughter and granddaughter. Take care.
Hi Yvette, I totally relate about how hard it is to keep our weight down, I have hypothyroidism so I have to be hyper vigilant about my diet because I feel like I can gain weight easily. It’s ironic because we are at an age where we have disposable income to go to restaurants but I feel like I control my weight easier when I cook. I love wine but that triggers me to snack so basically controlling my weight sucks the joy out of life! 😂 I pray you get the results you are looking for. 😘🌸
@@wanda18221 Thank you Wanda, it seems after that Woman’s World article the weight has been creeping up! What the heck, it’s me though stress is a killer for me and food is my comfort. I don’t eat out hardly ever. On vacations I will eat out at restaurants but otherwise I cook at home. I also have issues with my thyroid so I can relate. It’s a struggle but I need to take control before it controls me!!! Take care my friend. I already voted by mail and chewing my nails until all votes are cast.🗳️
I can totally relate to food cravings while under stress. I can relate. I have some friends that are doing really well with Ozempic. As long as you’re under your Dr’s supervision. You should be fine. Thank you for sharing Big hugs ❤
@@ladyyaya6782 Hello Yaya, hoping you’re well. I think I will do ok on it. I don’t think I want to loose anymore than 15 lbs (gives me a bit of a buffer). Fingers crossed.
@@MissPurplePotato Hello there, it’s so nice to see you on here. Of course, I got it from my gastroenterologist and a 3 month supply was $600; so $200 a month. I lost 3 lbs in the first week. I took my second dosage on Friday and feel good and have not had any side effects.
@@PolishedAfterSixtyYvetteThat is an excellent cost. I was quoted $350 a month for semiglutide so I hesitated. Maybe I should seek out your kind of doctor. I’m also scared of needles.
@@MissPurplePotato It’s not that bad; a little prick on either your stomach or arm. I’ve seen lots of commercials for this with higher prices (hers.com). I like that I’m seeing one of my physicians who can help me with any issues I might have. We will see how it goes. I will keep you all posted on my progress. Take care! Good luck with it, Yvette!
