Personally find I get yelled at “it’s a free game go play something else if you don’t like it” anytime I say the game could be doing something better or question it’s plethora of anti player systems
What really blew me away was the story in this game. I did not expect it at all. Once I started doing the story quests.. man.. the music.. the revelations... The second dream questline is still one of my alltime favourite game questlines. And one of the best things in this game is the community. You can always find someone to help or explain something. The most important thing is that because it is such a vast game you can play however you want to play it. Open world - you got it, stealth mission - pick the right frame and weapons and no one will ever know you were there, prefer the heads on approach - pick a map and go wild. It really is a great game overall.
@@thehimagedidntfitinmypfp6562 It is if I'm not mistaken. I think I saw in one of the devstreams that before you start, you get a pop-up telling you you won't be able to do online stuff for the duration of the quest. And that the quest would take several hours.
I think the only thing I and most other Warframe veterans can really do is recommend playing through the main story until you complete the second dream. It's a very memorable experience for almost everyone that plays Warframe and it opens up a lot of the universe of Warframe from a lore perspective.
And then say that you recommend to grind real hard and try to complete capture missions under 20 second, +120 hours survival missions... :D Oh, I forgot to mention that the best thing about Warframe is Fashionframe :)
@@dirtprime1379 Yeah the community is pretty toxic. If you're not following the exact min/max meta of the day and hour, people act like your opinion doesnt matter. Thou shalt rush through normal missions as fast as possible and drag out endless missions as long as possible. Someone legitimately argued with me once that my favorite loadout at the time was wrong because i wouldn't be able to complete a *100 HOUR* survival mission that way. WTF? That's 4 full days you sit there and do nothing but play one mission? No thanks, I'm happy resetting after 20 mins. But to give the devs credit, it's a really well built game for a casual player. You can pretty much complete the main progression with whatever BS you happen to have equipped
@@tippyc2 I've been playing for 4 years and my experience has been that people like that are few and far between. I'm MR 28 and leader of my own clan (we've unlocked all but a couple weapons and the paint colors); my experience of the community has been of many Tenno willing to help assist new players :/ I'm sorry you're encountering angry people.
@@JD_503 That dude was obviously exaggerating, but the leaderboards definitely get up there into double digits. I was gonna log in and look at the current weekly leaderboards, but alas, i'll be waiting 20+ minutes for downloading updates.
If you’re going for story, aim to do the second dream, and try to avoid spoilers. People won’t spoil it for you, the community has some respect for the revelations of the big quests. I wish I could play it again and even though I’ve been on and off since warframe first began I’ve always come back to it when I’m bored.
You know what Mike, I'm so fucking glad that blizzard basically shooting itself in the face has opened so many doors for you. With all these companies approaching you with offers, I get excited with every new video
Its so sad and I feel terrible for all the workers but honestly Blizzard being completely outed as the total scum they are just seemed to make so many people's lives better and its absolutely tragic
to be honest it's not just mike , there was a lot of content creators that were being held back doing only wow content that now are thriving in other games and it's great to see.
Also its very clear that Blizzard lost a massive asset in his ability to make such quality assessments of games. Where Blizzard has a massive ego and thinks they can't do wrong, all these other companies are like hey, we value your opinion, come check our game out
As a Warframe player of many years, its interesting to hear your take on the game. Just some clarification: a Prime (weapon or warframe) is a slightly better version of the base model, example: Mag and Mag Prime. Mag is one of the Starter warframes, while Mag Prime is a slightly better version you can farm later via the relic system (the loot table thing mentioned in the video) While Primes are generally a bit stronger, it is important to know they are not necessarily a MUST HAVE. I hope you continue to enjoy the game though.
The most important thing is that not only is there a negligible difference between them but you can farm the quite easily in even early-mid game, they are not and do not feel locked behind $cash$ transactions even for "premium"... Nothing in this game feels locked behind money like other games where you have to play 200 hours to complete some battlepass to unlock one nice looking skin... This is one if those games where you come back to it after a few months/years to complete more of your collection, new missions/story and you actually get excited from unlocking new stuff, new builds, etc Recently we got space battles/maps and it really felt like a new game :) Also if you are into lore and stuff everything is connected it has a story, even frames have a individual origin stories.
@@M43L57R0M I am so sick of the greed in the gaming industry. Games no longer feel like they where made to be fun, to have fun.. Every multiplayer game feels (was) designed to milk you of more money even if it looks like you don't need to give them more money everything is designed to make you feel bad because you can't access/have this or that etc :/ Warframe isn't like that, hopefully it doesn't change although i kinda wish they implemented some sort of PvEvP or something because PvP is a horror show right now...
Ps i have ~1500h in the game, I'm also a few thousands of $$$ in and i still find a ton of stuf to do... Also the game still makes me feel like a new player that doesn't know wtf he is doing or where he needs to go until a "shiny" that needs collecting distractions him xD
@@alexc664 using a game a lot of folks compare warframe to: Destiny 2 New content locked behind a season pass Old content (THAT I PAID FOR) is being removed (red war, warmind, curse of osiris) Season pass activities introduce very little meaningful content and any fun activity is just there for the current season (see sundial event) i really wish more games used the DE free to play model. dont get me wrong, i love destiny and have put hundreds of hours into it, but its feeling more and more like bungie just see us as wallets. at this point i have no interest in the dlc coming next year, mostly cus i'll be playing New War content.
I envy Preach, he's got a whole lot to discover in warframe. I wish I could do it again. The game is so big. Liches, Helminth, Railjack and the quests.
It's so crazy watching "new player" gameplay in warframe because it's like they are literally thousands of hours away from a lot of the content (if you're gonna do it with zero Plat purchases like me-no hate if you buy though, you pay for the rest of us)
Ohhh YES! Railjack was the moment I fell in love with Warframe. I had massive amounts of fun before it, but the moment you get it and go: "wait, we can do WHAT?!" just did it for me :D
My kid got me addicted to this darn game and I love it. I hadn't played any real video games in about 18 years and it's been an experience that I'm thoroughly enjoying. Keep playing Warframe. It's worth it,and some of the quests are absolutely amazing!
My son spent a YEAR trying to get me to play, seriously. The first time I tried, I thought it was a duck & cover style shooter, ala Mass Effect and Uncharted, and did not have a great time. A year later, I started it again and got it, and I've been playing ever since (going on 5 years now).
One thing I will place here as a word of warning for veterans and new players alike - Take your time. Pace yourself. I know how it feels to want to no-life a new game, but content updates are fairly slow, and if you no-life Warframe, you will get bored of it. I almost did, then I got my new, 10-7, 5 days a week job, and now Warframe doesn’t bore me because I’m not sitting home all day, playing it for hours.
10 years and thousands of hours later and I'm still enjoying Warframe. Yes, some of it is a grind but in the world of grindy games, Warframe is really not bad compared to other games I play. Tips: Gain access to a clan dojo for "easy" access to weapons and gear Complete the star chart (for full unlocks) Complete all your quests (for fun storyline based gameplay and interesting lore and a better understanding of the game) Get familiar with all the different mission types Get yourself a set of extractors so you can passively collect resources when you're not playing And.... HAVE FUN! The beautiful thing about Warframe is that for the most part you really only have to do the things that you enjoy doing. Once you get all the items on the list above done, you really aren't tied to doing what the game tells you to be doing. You can spend your time doing the things you enjoy in the game. If something is locked behind parts of the game you don't enjoy too much, go to recruiting chat and get a team together to help you get past it as fast as possible. Warframe really is in a league all on its own when it comes to the variety that a single game offers. Enjoy!
As far as recruiting players to help with getting past points you don't enjoy, there are many, and I mean MANY players that sit and watch chat specifically for those things that they enjoy, but other might not. Take me for example, I thoroughly enjoyed farming bosses for frame blueprints. At one point I think i had around 300 Lephantis keys, and about 60 Mutalyst Alad keys. I helped so many people farm the frames they wanted that it's ridiculous. Granted I haven't played in ages at this point, but up until the time I fell away from the game, I had farmed and built every single frame available so that I could swap to whatever was needed for sorties or long running survival/defense missions. Want to solo survival for hours on end? Melee tank Nekros or Ice tank Chroma were my top picks, with Valkyr and Mesa right below them. Defense mission? Grab yourself a Slowva or a Toxic Cloud Saryn, or if your feeling lazy just go Ice Bubble Frost and bring a buddy on Ember.
lol falling sleep by the cheese fest this game is. press 4 everything is dead, repeat until you get that item that you need to press 4 somewhere else haha the gameplay and meta are so boring is a shame because the art style of the game is great but as a game is really bad
@@drunkenfist3084 someone has played too much octavia. For real tho generally speaking the press 4 to win warframes have poor energy management while the more active ones generally have much better. There's also warframes like Rhino who work better as weapon buffers to fit alternative playstyles. There isn't really a meta in the game outside of resource farming, you can play whatever frame you want and have fun, if you aren't having fun because you picked a press 4 to win warframe then consider playing a different warframe. I recommend Garuda, she's very self sufficient and while her abilities may seem fairly weak alone, by combining them all you get some amazing results.
Warframe was an eye-opener for me. Before it the word "grind" was always being thrown around with a lot of negativity. But if the gameplay loop is as good as in warframe does the massive grind really have to be a bad thing? I´d recommend getting to Second Dream. I remember being blown away by it.
@@pdpMASTERP The gameplay was fun for me. I never had a problem grinding in warframe because I just wanted to keep playing. Wheter it was speedrunning spymissions or doing hour long survivals. Always felt like I got something I needed while just playing and having fun.
100% agreed on getting to The Second Dream. I've got ~2500 hours into the game and just started a new account from scratch, just to go back and re-experience the early quests. The Second Dream is about 30 hours in, so it's a commitment to get there, but... yeah. No spoilers, but it's super worth it, especially if you're having fun along the way.
The gameplay and the storyline go way, way deeper than you yet know. What has always amazes me after thousands of hours is the deep lore and story for a simple free to play looter shooter. You must play the quests, big and small, to start the storyline unlocks.
Was fun to play with you preach! and yeah so happy to see you playing warframe, i really hope you keep playing it after the 4 weeks, even if its only a once in awhile thing, as the game really is amazingly huge. and yeah it eventually does hit a point of a "grind" when you start getting to "i have 75% of the stuff in the game, now it is time to hunt down the last 25%" but that is not required its optional for fun. I have been a founder since 2013, and only recently hit "max rank" (not really max) of 30. although i took many breaks, as its a great game to play over time. But there is tons to experiance and explore! you got your dog, you got your archwing, you got your unlock of the plains. You got so much more ahead of you! 3 types of vehicles, a whole new archtype, 2 open world areas, Cats, ROBO DOGS!, MANY more warframes, weapons, companions, and more. I am so excited to see you experience the rest, and even be with you ingame on it!
@@MrXennhorn Kind of. Every so often there is gift of the lotus events that gives them. You also can get 3 of them when you reach rank 30. The way you can farm them is Steel Path, which unlocks once you have beat every mission once. Steel path is a harder version (all maps are level 100+) that gives steel essence, this is used weekly to buy a couple items from tenshin, and every 8 weeks he sells 1 umbra forma blueprint.
@@MrXennhorn More generous but still fairly gated streams and alerts 6-8 this year. Plus nightwave and then steel path is like every other month gives one so could get 12-14 I think if you got every one this year. Throw in fact that forma isn't as bad when you reset frame it stays same lvl so if 30 can use all abilitys and even take in sortie. Making leveling them more of a back ground thing making it so doing 2 regular forma instead of a umbra for mod space easier.
@@moistorphan5110 key word you dont NEED to do any of that. coming from a rank 30 player, yeah having higher rank is nice, its not required after the first couple needed to unlock weapons. Nevermind the fact you dont even need to farm endo or kuva, you get tons of kuva just by playing, and unless you are spamming riven re-rolls kuva is barely used. also endo you get TONS of just by playing railjack.
Advice for playing warframe for the first time? Do whatever you want. When you get stuck look for a tutorial but be careful, there are MASSIVE story spoilers that change the way the game works. Trust me qhen I say you want to experience it properly. Keep in mind you've only seen the tip of the iceberg and this game goes deep. The main story doesn't really start until like 40 hours in. Also, if you have questions there is a dedicated q/a chat channel which should help you avoid spoilers.
preach I am so happy that you are trying out warframe, I put like 2000 hrs into it and I love seeing you figuring out stuff! I cant wait to see you doing second dream and the quests beyond that!
One of the best pieces of advice I can give a new player, get the mod for your dog, cat, or sentinel that picks up loot at a distance. "Fetch" "Vacuum" They are probably the most useful mods in the game, and max them out as soon as you can.
Warframe is one of those games that I wish I could play with fresh eyes all over again. Not only does the game get better and better as you understand it better, but there's a certain period around 20 hours in where the game becomes absolutely addicting.
I went on the warframe wayback thing and it told me that 95% of my playtime was spend in MR 1-5 just fucking around discovering all the amazing things in this game and understanding absolutely none of it, and it was glorious
Definitely recommend completing the main quests up until the second dream, at that point the gameplay will open up in variety and the story gains a whole new dimension
Warframe is a perfect example of how to have "Grind" be your games content and have it actually keep you WANTING to play. Im sitting at around 4400 hrs on steam and i can't think of many games that have held my attention for that amount of time, though I have had plenty of breaks over the years.
warframe gets outclassed by Path of exile for grind imo. over 10k hours of warframe for me then theres other stuff like what happens with rivens, knee jerk nerfs and some of the scummy things the devs do.
@@Yanderewaifu I agree with you but I think they're different kinds of grind just due to the resets PoE does. PoE is a game I can hop on for 2 weeks every 3 months and have a blast where as Warframe is more of a "Long Con" game.
As someone who’s played this game for too many years it’s really nice to see the perspective of someone new to the game. As frustrated as I’ve been with the devs on multiple occasions for shoddy spaghetti code, I can honestly say I’ve never seen a more devoted and transparent company as DE. I hope you’ve enjoyed your time so far and I hope the rest of the time you play is just as exciting as you found this to be. I’d love to see your perspective of the main quest line as everyone else here seems to want. There is a truly immense amount of content to absorb and I’m looking forward to see what you’ll gravitate to!
Gotta say as much as I did love your WoW content, I know it was a hard choice to step away since it's what the channel was primarily known for, but close a door open a window, glad that new opportunities are swinging your way from it and trying to no prior knowledge PoE as you did.
I’ve always been of the belief that a channel should be of an individual, not a single type of content. Because once the creator gets bored of making one type of content, gets burnt out and wants to branch out, often it can lead to upset subscribers.
The "wall" kinda comes in the form of the mod feature. Once you hit the max xp level on any given Warframe or weapon (level 30) you are then required to get stronger exclusively through building a solid mod setup that allows you to maximize damage, and you have to go around hunting good mods or the best variants of mods you might already have.
I think he means a paywall all F2P games have. What you mentioned is just a natural progression obstacle all games have in some form. But most free 2 play games give you everything at start to make you feel powerful and then throw a unbypassable difficulty curve that you cannot pass unless you pay up or are forced ungodly amounts of hours grinding to bypass. While Warframe is a grind game, it's not an unfair grind game. The grind is actually fun. If anything, buying things with platinum removes the experience as you're robbing yourself of fun time and the experience you would have otherwise had melting face.
Best tip I can give: look for weapons that seem fun. You want a shotgun that shoots radiation or glass shards? or a machine gun that has homing projectiles? or a bow that literally shoots miniature nukes or anything else? Look through the weapons in your loadout when in your orbiter. There is a list of all weapons that exist, owned or not. Weapons MASSIVELY change your gameplay. And some of them feel really good to use. You can look at the different status effects that the weapons have (bleed, puncture, impact) and then you can use mods to further increase those stats. Make a lightning shotgun? How about a bow with 130% crit chance so your crits will crit! Yes that is a thing. (Red crits are so satisfying). All weapons have a predisposition towards a certain element or physical damage type. (Go for bleed if you can. Impact and puncture are sadly almost useless) Same goes for melee. You don’t even have to swap to your melee weapon. You can just use the quick melee button to seamlessly swap between ranged and melee.
Another thing that's great about the content is that you can do EVERYTHING at MR16. Not everything is is listed in the arsenal, only things you can obtain with plat. Even your profile is missing stuff (I think Invasion weapons, login rewards, etc..), but that stuff is fun to discover on your own. I have a friend that thought she'd finished with absolutely everything a few months ago, only to find out that she was missing a very easy to obtain weapon that she didn't even know existed until I tossed it on at random about a week ago.
@@sleepydruid100 yeah no don't do that, the fun is literally getting whatever looks fun to you, I only go for meta weapons so I can obtain what I find more fun easily when I need it
Warframe is a completely underrated game, as of right now I have over 200 hours and I still keep learning and having fun. tip that I learned in my hunderth hour, if you ever get stuck or glitched through a wall open chat using "T" and type unstuck
NGL I've spent an embarassing 3000+ hours on Warframe (pre-steam, steam release and console) and while I'm very much done now, it was a truly fun gaming experience that rarely felt like it was trying to dig into my pockets and paywall progress. On-top of that it's only been getting better and more great content is always being released. Enjoy! Edit: The player economy / trade is in my opinion one of the best aspects of the game and should absolutely be replicated by other F2P devs going forward.
the only complaint i have about warframe is that im not a person who plays the same game for hours every single day, i like to switch out games alot and warframe gets a little bit jarring, youve been gone for 3 months and now suddenly theres 50 new things and you gotta watch a 20 minute guide on every single one of them. it was much worse in that regards in the olden days where it felt like every single week the ui got changed etc and id much rather have it the way it is that you leave for a while and then theres massive new things then other games where youre gone for half a year and you come back and are like "ah, yes ive done all of this already, there is literally nothing new"
I agree that is what other games should copy, but as long as the beginning is famously unintuitive WF will have high dropout rate and remain relatively unknown for this reason. Some MMOs have the same problem of bad tutorials and relying on gamer experimentation. People either like the power fantasy or the style before they actually find out how to get good and enjoy all the customization.
I would highly recommend pushing through the story to get to the second dream and the old war. It's anywhere from 50-100 hours into the game. It takes a super deep dive into the lore and is what most people consider the end of the "tutorial" even though it's so deep into the game. These quests completely change and revolutionize gameplay and the experience. Very happy to see you're enjoying Warframe! I've put about 600 hours in and it's always a lot of fun seeing a new player sink their teeth into this beast of a game and discover all the quirks and intricacies like I did when I first started playing!
Great to see someone new enjoying the game. I've played this for hours on end myself. And while I am kind of done with the game for now, i will probably return at some point and have some nice new things to chew through. Nothing wrong with just taking a break for 6-12 months. But watching a new player go through this has made me re-realize some of the cool things this game offers. - The f2p modes is one of the best in the game as you can trade (and thus earn) the premium currency without relying on a drip feed from the devs - The clan dojo's are -awesome- (check out some of the feautured dojo's). Don't think I've seen any guild/clan hall system that offers as much creative freedom (as well as a clan resource farm efford) as this - The variety in weapons and warframes and their looks; Loads of them and they are almost all distinctive from each other - The second dream was an awesome questline The game has some flaws, but eh, I'll keep the message positive this time :) As in the end, for a f2p game I've had many many hours of enjoyment with it.
Things to check out.... Get some support/tank warframes, so you can see a wider variety of what the game has to offer. The main story is a must, Second Dream and War Within are super good. After that the game opens up even more with stuff like Railjack and Eidolon Hunts. Also fishing is surprisingly fun.
Looking forward to your Warframe continuation playthrough! there are many avenues that will start to open as you clear more story missions and progress through your planet hoping crusades. As many may have stated during stream, as you progress around the sol system, especially as you near the southern half, the game's over arching story really kicks in.
This was on my suggested feed, and the first I'd heard of you, but I like your style of explaining things. I've been playing for quite a while now and I'm glad to see someone with a fresh perspective. I loved the fact that the Archwing (space) missions opened up the world a little more for you. If you keep playing, I think that'll happen 3 or 4 more times. The Void Fissures (where you crack open relics and choose from what everyone rolls) are kind of the "end game grind," and it's great because the missions switch up every hour or so, and it keeps things fresh, even for those of us who have been here for years. I hope you find a lot more enjoyment in it, there's a lot of fun to be had. Whenever I get the disinterest of continuing on, I always just put the game down until there's another story or event mission and pick it up for another couple months. Great video, man... Cheers!
Pro Tip: The wiki is your best friend. It has information on all the frames, all the gameplay systems, all the loot locations, and all the behind-the-scenes math. The latter (look up the "damage" page) is incredibly important to at least have a basic grasp on as you get past the first few planets. It defines how the modding system works. Enemies scale exponentially, so if you don't have better-modded gear by the time you hit Jupiter/Saturn, you're going to have a rough time (solo at least).
@@Mark-lf9cn I agree that they've done a historically bad job of explaining things in-game. I think that because up until recently, new players very slowly trickled in, DE could rely on veterans to catch the majority of stanceless-MK1 Bo-wielding Excaliburs and explain the major systems (I'm not excusing this as good behavior. It isn't). With JSH and now WoW refugees finding the game and describing the same BS veterans have been complaining about for years to a huge number of potential players (not to mention the upcoming cross-play stuff), DE may actually start implementing better 'new player experience' functions, that don't rely on veterans. For the last few years, they've been almost single-mindedly implementing the systems needed for their vision of The New War. They have shown a strong deferrence to new players over veterans in the past, so it wouldn't be surprising if they continued the trend of NPE-based changes they've made in response to new reviews. I have to imagine they know the mobile gaming crowd is significantly less patient than PC or console, so they may make some of these changes as they shift focus from New War to cross-play.
@@Mark-lf9cn to a point, I'd agree. DE needs some specific new player things explained better, mainly mods. But I wouldn't say the wiki is required for new players, just helpful. Warframe is easily played without it, just maybe not optimally.
@@johnmcpudding857 it depends how you play. Every mmo has spreadsheets for min/maxing, not just warframe. But you can get a kuva bramma, put crit and heat on it, and kill most every enemy in the game without having to change weapons/mods. Depends how much effort you want to put in it
I greatly appreciate this video man! I have been playing for years and I am a MR 29 and I have EVERYTHING! BUT still I do not and am not bored of this game. Love it preach. I think Railjack might interest you, at least concept-wise. This game is so damn vast, and although the devs make a lot of stupid mistakes you can tell they really are trying to make the coolest game out there.
Glad you enjoyed it. Like others said, the story mode leaves a memorable impression. I've been playing since 2018, and even if I have breaks, I usually come back for new updates or content. I love the community also e.g. clans and the dev team (they do streams most weekdays, and they do free twitch drops just for watching).

Don't know how long it takes now to get to Second Dream now but I had heard how amazing it was and played a lot of Warframe so I could get to that quest and it was worth it. The story for that quest line is some of the best scifi/fantasy you can get anywhere... it is so worth playing at least that long.
By what the devs said the spoiler feature you unlock will be getting new voice acting to make new content less work. Replacing 4 options with 2 but hopefully less boring.
@@WhatNowChristian It definitely takes less time than that, if you rush through the star chart. My secondary account (I dropped the game a few years ago, decided to start fresh since so much has changed) only has around 80 hours sunk into it, and if I remember correctly, I got up to The Second Dream by the 40-50 hour mark. I didn't no-life my way through the star chart, but I definitely did blitz through it the best I could, so you could probably get that down to 30-40 hours or less if you no-life it.

And your probably right that I'm in the minority, just looked it up and it's more like 150 hours in or so that most hit the Second Dream quest at that point. What really helped is when I was teaming up with some veterans and they just gave me mods and blueprints. After that, well after that is when it really took off for me and I was building weapons and warframe and just leveling everything. You have *barely* scratched the surface of what the game has to offer: from cinematic quests, to railjack (basically piloting an actual starship, as opposed to archwing, which is more just you in space) to high level modding, the long list of warframes for different playstyles, the hundreds of weapons that each have a unique *something*, to end game level enemies, the helminth system (allows you to change abilities of a warframe to better suit your playstyle). All of this awaits if you want to sink the time and effort into getting there.
I must say, that it's cool to hear they're trying to improve the new player experience, I saw Josh Strife Hayse's video about it which he did with Warframe so that's cool if they saw that and are making improvements to that
Great Video Preach : For Preach, and for others who are playing Warframe now, or even a few years like me: As the player you have full control of the 'challenge' of combat. Yes the challenge for some missions in the 10-40 range can seem easy, however there's 2 ways to deal with that - [1] You get yourself into the steel path or higher tier challenge (level 60 - 110+) where you will really feel the tension and challenge, or you put yourself in survival missions where the difficulty continues to scale forever, and this can be incredibly fun. and [2] You can solo play (in my opinion the ultimate challenge) with some of the physically more fragile frames (Banshee) on level 60+ missions, and try to accomplish the entire run without a single alarm going off. That is some top tier entertainment.
Hello tehere Darthmufin. Dont you notice that we WF vets is just enjoing others succed at the game for a lategame. lol (Back to venting about everything wrong with our game. (Old prime farm that i liked so much) xD
@@vinniegret4841 I used to watch WF playthroughs and quest reactions at least once a week but starting around 2019 that sort of stuff dropped off a cliff. It's rare to see voiced first looks and quest reactions to warframe anymore and even more rare to find someone with more than a few subs playing. Usually, its people who are paid to play it like this guy.
Oh boy, it’ll be really interesting when you unlock Spoiler Mode, which is a thing people don’t even talk about (at least not back when I played) when they notice that they’re in a team with new players that don’t have Spoiler Mode. (edit: Second Dream is what starts you down that route)
Spoiler mode is still a thing not talked about. I'm fairly new to WF and never once saw *spoiler* until i got there, and very quickly became aware that one should hide *spoiler* from those yet to reach that point
@@robotspartan9100 yup. if im playing with anyone under Mr 7-10 (depends on the gear they have) I just assume they haven't gotten there yet, even though iirc that's kinda late to not do it yet. If I NEED to use spoiler mode, I drop out of sight, use it, and instantly activate again so that if they do catch a glimpse, it'll be too fast to process. but that's rare anyway. i don't keep 100+ energy pads on me for nothing. mesa has to go brrrrt, and those keep me going.
@@avaliantsoul5408 Yeah thats basically how i judge it. Though oddly i was like MR12 before i did the mission (i didn't actually know about story missions until MR10!) side note, primed flow and octavia passive for the win :D
everything about warframe is amazing. even the 5 days it takes in sheer crafting time to make something worth while. the feeling of acomplishment is incredible in this game
i mean i remember the old days when i was gone for 3 months and when i came back there where 50 different new things to do^^ which is ofc prefferable but still
Let's go dude. I have played warframe since release (with breaks to play other games). Every time I come back I always love it and I will never not want to give de my money. Great game and great company
suggestion: clear the star map if you haven't already. make that your first priority. fair warning, uranus is the sewer level, but it's also important because it's what triggers the modern bit of the storyline in the quests.
Warframe is huge and overwhelming, I spent two years exclusively playing Wf, and the only reason I cut it was because I realized I'll never play anything else if I don't force myself to quit. Excellent fun, original style and art concept, a billion things to do and progress, non stop new content, just awesome. If you want to lose yourself, be my guest. And don't ask me about meta. This is meta heaven. Not for me (not that smart), I was mainly following other's builds, but once you learn about all the synergies and possibilities you can tinker with, goodbye life XD.
Yup once i picked it up in like late 2018 i played nothing else till late 2020 (pretty sure those were the dates). It is now my game between game, game.
I love that you're trying out the game, I've played it since release, and have over 3k hours in it, still don't have everything because there's a lot of things you can do, and I've just not been going after it all yet. XD If you want someone who can help though, I'd be more than happy to as well. One good thing about the Warframe community is they're pretty helpful to most new players, and asking a question is going to get an answer more than it would on WoW where I've been told to "just look it up" a lot.
I hope he makes it to the second dream. I went into that blind, and it was pretty mind blowing. I had to stop playing for a few minutes and process what happened and my new gameplay experiences.
One trick they don’t go into a whole lot of detail about, level up as many weapons and frames as possible to get faster mastery rank points - lots of items are locked behind the mastery rank wall. This encourages you to try a variety of weapons and be as versatile as possible, but it also makes things harder when you’re trying to create a specific build.
I just picked up Warframe a week ago (4.7 hrs played so far) and am still in the introductory missions (repairing my ship). I agree that the game runs VERY smoothly and your warframe's movements a way fast (those with motion sickness issues may have problems playing). Fun so far and videos like yours help me to understand where to go and what to focus on. Thanks!
When your a new player it's best to go through the star chart and clear nodes. As you do this you'll get resources, get new stuff, level up, fight bosses, get lore stuff. The open worlds are not really meant for new players right off the bat. My suggestion is do the star chart and quests as they pop up. Then once you have a handle on things you have three open worlds, space combat, world bosses and more.
Nice vid. I got into warframe about 4 months ago and have barely played anything since lol. I strongly agree with the opinion that what the devs expect players to do with the game is very disconnected to the actual new player experience. One of the major factors in this is the fact that they explain maybe 1% of the systems and mechanics in the game and most of that 1% is in the first 10 hours. They rely on the community and the wiki far too much to explain things to new players especially when the game has 8 years of content and changes to it
I’ve loved Warframe for MANY MANY years. Not long after beta in fact. And I can honestly say this feels like it is NEVER mentioned. But basically the game has expanded to like 4 fully fledged new games all in 1. The movement has been revamped, the pets have, mods, tile sets, storylines, melee, core game mechanics, and so much more! Now imagine literally ANY big game franchise over this period doing the same. You can’t. Why? Well first of all, Warframe has managed to maintain what I think is the longest generated hype for ANY video game of all time. Still going strong after all these years and if it were any other game company. You’d have payed hundreds, if not thousands of pounds in DLC packs. It’s also why I quickly learned as a veteran gamer that it was worth while to F2P players. As almost everything could be grinded for free. Most games wouldn’t dream of giving their fans such freedom. Their latest quest took 3 f*****g years to finish! Also if you’re new to the game and like updates and community feedback, the crew have been doing live-streams since the beginning of time, and you quickly become invested with what feels more like a family you’re invested in, rather than a dev stream. The devs are funny, charismatic and not afraid to poke fun at the community and themselves. You can literally FEEL the passion gone into this game. The mod system alone is out of this world. Hidden features you’ll still be finding 7 years later and even build for frames that do the compete opposite of what they were intended for (ie Slowva Nova becoming speed nova). I cannot say enough good things about this game, and the glitches and bugs are so rare, you’d think this was a perfect game. Things are constantly being patched and fixed like a passionate engineer on a big project. I have played thousands of video games with probably close to millions of hours (if that’s even possible lol) and I can safely say this is as close to a perfect game as you’ll find.
I'm only rank 8 in the game. I found it very confusing, and still do in some places. I was right with you trying to take my time to figure out how mods work. It's the most important system in the game and it's treated like a footnote lol! Another thing they don't tell you is that in order to gain ranks, you need to level everything you find; weapons, warframes, companions. They don't tell you that some things you might feel are essential, that show up in the cash shop can be earned or bought with game credits through a dojo. And one essential they don't teach is that you will eventually need to buy slots for weapons, warframes and companions. I found out when I tried to use a new weapon I made and it said I didn't have room. The game has a sandbox feel, and can lead you at a very low level to places you shouldn't be - like Deimos while rank 3 lol! Or it gives you weapons or warframes you can't build until you reach areas that are days or weeks of work away. That was frustrating. It doesn't teach you about player trading, or that there are things you can buy for credits on the market - like blueprints. That "I'm running blind" feeling doesn't go away for a very long time, even with looking up tutorials and using the wiki. It doesn't show you where to find cool mods. My first multiplayer experience was me loading in to a mission that was finished by the veterans in less than a minute and they were waiting for me at extraction. The feeling that I was just a leech to the party didn't go away until I was rank 6 or 7 and had some decently modded weapons. (They dont explain forma or orokin reactors either. ) Also - non of the new content they've recently released seems inclusive to new players. They don't have systems which let newer players play together like most other games. I am not a big gamer so I maybe had more difficulty trying to figure out a lot of things than the average player. That being said, I am still playing - everything you said was fun is the truth. It's unlike anything I've played before and they've really found a way to put the power to play how you want in your hands. Some tips : learn how to run on and stick to walls; some fights can be avoided or made easier by staying out of range and out of sight or above all the enemy aoe. Learn to look up - you will find grates that lead to secret caches, and scannables. (My favorite part of the game is the scavenger hunts for cephalon fragments, fighter fragments, kuria and music fragments) But these places can also help with spy missions. When you get the blueprint for cypher keys, make a bunch of them so you can solve complicated security panels with the push of a button - really helps with spy missions and rescues. Use the specter blueprint - add it to your gear wheel, because when a mission gets hairy you can summon this powerful buddy to help cover your back when you're by yourself. I find finishing the star chart and clearing the junctions is the best way to progress. "assassination" missions are where the boss fights are and you can usually do them over and over to get certain weapon or warframe parts. Join public bounties appropriate for your level - great way to get really useful mods early on.
Playing Warframe is like being Batman. You should always be prepared to absolutely destroy your enemies. If you're struggling, you need to go back and re-evaluate your preparation.
Warframe has one of *the* best stories in video games. Was absolutely blown away when I first played. I look forward to seeing you make your way through to the current lines.
Main questline is also good indicator of natural early progression through mastery ranks (since quests have prerequisites), plus it has great story to tell. You have a journey ahead that I wish i could experience for the first time again :)
I've played a lot of warframe in the past. The only problem I have with it is there are too many systems in it. I was like MR26 and the amount of systems there were kind of put me off. That and that there are some things that are a bit too much of a grind. Don't get me wrong I don't mind the grind but some things in warframe are a bit much. My honest opinion is they need to do a big sweeping pass on the game and clean up all the things that they have just duct taped on over the years. It just seems a bit of mess at the moment. I would go back if they ever cleaned the game up though.
I’ve been playing since release. I’ve also played WoW which is how I met you. You do space ninja stuffs. The gameplay is fun! Content creators agree, but they also say that the new player exp is “well now what” I was pleasantly surprised to watch your play and breakdown of it. A “fresh look” i you will. The open world bosses are a lot of fun and most of the community is quite pleasant. So there are a lot of veterans who will just give mods/prints(do not buy ignis wraith, people print it for next to nothing) and “taxi”(take you to a node you haven’t unlocked…so you can be new and experience the “end game”. Railjack has mixed reviews in the community but if you liked arching - Railjack is WAY better. Enjoyed this vid!! Thanks
Hey Preach, So, my suggestions. Think ahead for each weapon and how you want them to end up. You probably arnt deep enough into the game to really grasp the intricacy of how in depth and how lethal you can build weapons. But you can make anything, even the dinky MK1 -Braton into a powerful weapon with time and forma. My suggestion is find the weapons you think are cool and use those, dont go chasing trends. Make sure you rank up all weapons to 30 before you sell them ( unless your a madman and you literally want to keep every weapon in the game ) to maximize your character growth. Most importantly: Have fun and ask questions. I have never encountered a community more willing to help their fellow gamers/ninja's. They would rather spend 5 minutes explaining something then lose a rare key cause somebody didn't know what to do. I hope your time in Frame is a good to you as it was to me.
I hope that one day, Mike tries out Monster Hunter. Its an awesome gameplay focused, non-conventional RPG that takes out all the bullshit and just gives you a ladder of bossfights to climb alone or with buddies. People who like a good combat system fall in love with that game. I think the PC release of RISE could be a good place to start?
I tried the pc beta for rise and I gave up after about an hour. It seemed like it was just unworkable without a controller. As someone who played the hell out of MHW on ps4 it was really sad to see it in such a state. Unless they do a lot to improve it I imagine the experience wouldn't be great for him.
Now, I don't know that it takes out the bullshit. After 700 hours of MHW I never got a 2-Attack-Boost deco, and the MR thresholds are wack as hell (29ish for Alatreon, but 100 for Ruiner Nergi?), as well as the presence of 1-3% drop rate items. It's still a lot of fun, though.
I think it is fun to know that there are like 3-4 depending on how you count them game play modes for your character that you have yet to see. All of them fun and all of them important to the game. On top of that additional enemy types, so many frames and weapons many of them with very different abilities. The mod system is fascinating as well if you are into it. There is a somewhat wierd trading system and please do yourself a favor by either starting or joining a clan to get access to a dojo. I mean there are entire sections of your own ship you have yet to discover (all are important). While grinding them is no fun, following the mission questline is awesome too, because at the end is the upcoming new quest just announced as coming the 15th December.
“The wall” for me was when I had to farm for plat and I didnt know How. I needed warframe slots, weapons slots and catalyst/reactors. I sacrificed some frames by deleting them before I sold my first things for plat. Gl and keep grinding, Tennos.
Warframe is fantastic until you get into the "end game" which there really isn't any of. It's been that way for many years because DE caters to the "new player experience" in their words without giving the veterans that spend the most money and time in their game reasons to stay. It's still a fantastic game but I don't play it anymore. I hope anyone who joins warframe from this video enjoys it like I did because it's a lot to take in.
Wait until you experience the Second Dream and War Within quests. DO NOT LOOK EITHER UP AND SPOIL THEM!!! It is one of the most shocking/awesome experiences in recent gaming history and has to be experienced first hand. You my friend are still in Warframe tutorial mode until those points. Welcome Tenno.
I hope you stay long enough to get to the main story line =D Your gonna love that ;) You can find them and what you need to access them in the CODEX which is on the left when you are in your ship facing the window.
You know, I love the huge lore and story/gameplay in Warframe. I do wish that their would but more advanced tutorials for ex. Mods, relics, liches, railjacks. I do understand the idea of letting the play find this thing and finding something they want, then grinding for it. But I feel like alot of key ideas in warframe are so loosely disconnected from everything else. I remeber having no idea what the hell a lich was, or how mods even worked, or finding out there was a steel path or railjacks. I was lucky enough to have a friend that had played Warframe religiously to help me, and guide me through everything that was going on. Warframe is a game that does get sooooo much better after hours of time (I highly recommend playing it). But it obvious how the new player expirence is vastly outclassed by the late game expirence.
Preach ~ Great video, welcome to the warframe Ride ~ You have yet to experience actually Swapping out skills of other warframes into selected warframe to essentially make a Hybrid Frame of your making, skill augments, Using giant Robo Mechs, using your own BattleShip In Star-Wars'esque Space Dog Fights, and much more. The Game isn't really a grind, so much as the addiction to collection of all things drives some to exhaustion, which happens for some few players. You don't actually NEED many of the things in warframe, rather its more the pursuit of fun and "options" .. new ways to play or experience the game. I would call this game more horizontal progression focused. The actual gameplay itself, and (when you find or create challenge) is where the game shines. And Also as some would mention the Story & Lore of the game really develops and becomes something amazing with time.
Love that this got reccomended, the new players in warframe tend to not get a whole lot of help as to learning everything needed to know to get better gear and just exploring, I've gotten over 800 hours on it, sure grind is in the game but dang does it feel good to just build your resources and mods to a point that your inventory sells for a lot of plat if you got dublicates and such. New players did get some hepl w/ the recent update on the hud in the orbiter telling you in general what to do but still misses out on small aspects that brings players like me back in
9:55 yea that dialog line has been boosted to all hell because of players who dont pay attention not being able to understand that the quest wants them to interact with the arsanel, he used to say it once and that was it, but there was a good pool of players getting stuck at it so it was made repeating.
Fun fact, Warframe's Second Dream quest is what set my bar for modern storytelling. It was such a badass drop that I legitimately had to take a break after *that* moment. I mean, Shadowbringers and Endwalker blew it out of the water, because it's on the same level but much more consistent, but still. The runup for that drop was a long time coming and I hit it way after it was released. Massive "OHSHIT!" moment that I treasure to this day.
Long time player. (am a founder and was playing before "release" It was interesting to see a new player perspective. I'm really glad you liked it and hope you keep playing.
For me as a longtime Player it is allways refreshing to see new players join the game. Enjoy the game in the pace you like there ist so much content hidden in this gem of a Game. Good luck out there fellow tenno. 👍
Bro the loot caches that you have to find and bring into specific mission types to break open, which are called Relics, have some really cool features to them. Some relics have more rare drops within them and the relics themselves have to be farmed in most cases as well. The game loop is very well structured and rewarding.
11:51 this made me laugh, as you did the quest to look for Onkko straight away. I didn't do that quest until mastery rank 9 I believe. Major pain In the ass, as I'd all ready gotten my rail jack nearly maxed out. And just started with Onkko. Smh fml
I honestly your approach is better than just following what other people tell you. I poured more hours into it than the other players at my rank would have because my overall progress was slower but figuring stuff out for myself was fun. I kept getting surprised by the things and mechanics I found. So really, my advice is really just do it at your own pace. It's more fun that way. There are different types of players so you can have your own priorities. I play WF in chunks and take breaks from time to time. And I usually have specific goals in mind when I dive in. The game is grindy but you know exactly where to look for whatever it is you want. It's satisfying to dive in with a specific goal in mind and achieve it. Come back with a different goal and do that next. All while tinkering with my Warframes and weapons to make everything fresh and fun all the time. But yeah, I'm excited to see what you find. And also see what you think of the main story line and the WF lore.
I hope I get to see Preach do the Kubrow quest and get his first Kubrow (dog). He wanted to get one, he can get one. And in general the story missions/quests are really cool to learn about the universe. I think my favorite missions in Warframe were the "tower-defense" missions where the enemies become stronger and stronger the longer your team survives. And ofc the Orokin missions because those maps look soo good and I love the little hidden rooms and secrets. And the hidden rooms where you have a limited time to reach the end of a jumping puzzle and are rewarded with some rare mods. ... honestly Warframe is a game that I don't have to play all the time, but every 1-2 years I see someone playing the game and think "OH right I used to love that game! I should check it out again and see what is new"
I've stepped away from WF and doubt I'll come back to it but I do love this game. It's always nice to see others enjoying a game I put thousands of hours into and I hope you get to the story parts, those are the best of the game.
I've been an on and off Warframe player until my brother got me into it again. At first I was skeptical, but in 2 months, I caught up with my brother and friends up to where I need to get more relics. After stepping away from Destiny 2 for a bit made me realize what I was actually missing.
Man, being honest one of the best reviews currently available. Truth as it is with all bright and dark sides of game. Can`t wait to check out your next part of review!
This game has an extremely valuable feature that I found most other games are lacking: a helpful and welcoming community.

That's a great joke! All seriousness though this game is a noobs dream a veterans suffering. Ironically the game has made me tempted to play ff14.

Oh, I forgot to mention that the best thing about Warframe is Fashionframe :)
@@dirtprime1379 Yeah the community is pretty toxic. If you're not following the exact min/max meta of the day and hour, people act like your opinion doesnt matter. to be honest it's not just mike , there was a lot of content creators that were being held back doing only wow content that now are thriving in other games and it's great to see.

Mag is one of the Starter warframes, while Mag Prime is a slightly better version you can farm later via the relic system (the loot table thing mentioned in the video)
While Primes are generally a bit stronger, it is important to know they are not necessarily a MUST HAVE.
This is one if those games where you come back to it after a few months/years to complete more of your collection, new missions/story and you actually get excited from unlocking new stuff, new builds, etc Recently we got space battles/maps and it really felt like a new game :)
Also if you are into lore and stuff everything is connected it has a story, even frames have a individual origin stories.

You guys are cool parents.

It's the opposite now. WoW needs them.
10 years and thousands of hours later and I'm still enjoying Warframe. Yes, some of it is a grind but in the world of grindy games, Warframe is really not bad compared to other games I play.
Tips:
Gain access to a clan dojo for "easy" access to weapons and gear
Complete the star chart (for full unlocks)
Complete all your quests (for fun storyline based gameplay and interesting lore and a better understanding of the game)
Get familiar with all the different mission types
Get yourself a set of extractors so you can passively collect resources when you're not playing
And....
Enjoy!

@@gastropuppet6228 oct 2012 for closed beta players.

Preach:The gameplay is fast
Warframe veterans: Basically falling asleep by how slow the start is :D

press 4 everything is dead, repeat until you get that item that you need to press 4 somewhere else haha the gameplay and meta are so boring is a shame because the art style of the game is great but as a game is really bad

And the new war is truly the climax we all waited for, most fun i had in warframe yet.
Yeah, it might even make him shed a tear...
Warframe was an eye-opener for me. Before it the word "grind" was always being thrown around with a lot of negativity. But if the gameplay loop is as good as in warframe does the massive grind really have to be a bad thing?
I´d recommend getting to Second Dream. I remember being blown away by it.
Yes.. Warframe gameplay combat is so easy you can do it with eyes closed. Which makes grinding so boring imo
@@pdpMASTERP The gameplay was fun for me. I never had a problem grinding in warframe because I just wanted to keep playing. Wheter it was speedrunning spymissions or doing hour long survivals. Always felt like I got something I needed while just playing and having fun.
Warframes grind CAN be really bad, if you want specific low drop rate items. But most of it is pretty relaxed farm.
Yeah, I was blown away when I got to Second Dream!
The gameplay and the storyline go way, way deeper than you yet know. What has always amazes me after thousands of hours is the deep lore and story for a simple free to play looter shooter. You must play the quests, big and small, to start the storyline unlocks.
game play and lore is deeper than a puddle by 2 inches
Was fun to play with you preach! and yeah so happy to see you playing warframe, i really hope you keep playing it after the 4 weeks, even if its only a once in awhile thing, as the game really is amazingly huge. and yeah it eventually does hit a point of a "grind" when you start getting to "i have 75% of the stuff in the game, now it is time to hunt down the last 25%" but that is not required its optional for fun. I have been a founder since 2013, and only recently hit "max rank" (not really max) of 30. although i took many breaks, as its a great game to play over time.
But there is tons to experiance and explore!

have they added a way to farm Umbra forma yet ? .. I'd still rather use my Excal Prime then Excal Umbra .. ..

Advice for playing warframe for the first time? Do whatever you want. When you get stuck look for a tutorial but be careful, there are MASSIVE story spoilers that change the way the game works.
PoE is a game I can hop on for 2 weeks every 3 months and have a blast where as Warframe is more of a "Long Con" game.
hello from a fellow 4k + club in warframe XD
Im so glad that he did, its actually what made me resub
Impact and puncture are sadly almost useless)
Same goes for melee. You don’t even have to swap to your melee weapon. You can just use the quick melee button to seamlessly swap between ranged and melee.
That will also introduce him to the first reall wall - weapon slots.
Don’t forget about war frame slots
Another thing that's great about the content is that you can do EVERYTHING at MR16. Not everything is is listed in the arsenal, only things you can obtain with plat. Even your profile is missing stuff (I think Invasion weapons, login rewards, etc..), but that stuff is fun to discover on your own. I have a friend that thought she'd finished with absolutely everything a few months ago, only to find out that she was missing a very easy to obtain weapon that she didn't even know existed until I tossed it on at random about a week ago.
Yeah I made the mistake in Warframe of going the meta route. Killed the game for me. : / Well that and some of the updates a couple years back.
- The f2p modes is one of the best in the game as you can trade (and thus earn) the premium currency without relying on a drip feed from the devs
- The clan dojo's are -awesome- (check out some of the feautured dojo's). Don't think I've seen any guild/clan hall system that offers as much creative freedom (as well as a clan resource farm efford) as this
- The variety in weapons and warframes and their looks; Loads of them and they are almost all distinctive from each other
- The second dream was an awesome questline
The game has some flaws, but eh, I'll keep the message positive this time :) As in the end, for a f2p game I've had many many hours of enjoyment with it.
Nah if you have to wiki to understand shit they’ve done a bad job

Love to see a new player experiencing warframe since the new player update. Back when a lot of us started they really gave us no direction and just said "have fun".
Just wait until he finds out there are spaceship battles with Railjack

If I NEED to use spoiler mode, I drop out of sight, use it, and instantly activate again so that if they do catch a glimpse, it'll be too fast to process. but that's rare anyway. i don't keep 100+ energy pads on me for nothing. mesa has to go brrrrt, and those keep me going.
@@avaliantsoul5408 Yeah thats basically how i judge it. Though oddly i was like MR12 before i did the mission (i didn't actually know about story missions until MR10!)
side note, primed flow and octavia passive for the win :D
everything about warframe is amazing. even the 5 days it takes in sheer crafting time to make something worth while. the feeling of acomplishment is incredible in this game
Warframe has such a good story. Shame they only bring out more once in a decade.
Now now, over exaggerating a little are we.
@@troll5262 Yes. It is called hyperbole for effect. Last story update was in what? 2017? They're at least halfway there.
@@lexvstee I meant you were too kind to DE. They ain't that fast.
@@troll5262 That got a snicker out of me. XD Good show.
i mean i remember the old days when i was gone for 3 months and when i came back there where 50 different new things to do^^ which is ofc prefferable but still
Let's go dude. I have played warframe since release (with breaks to play other games). Every time I come back I always love it and I will never not want to give de my money.
Great game and great company
Such a good game, already 500+ hours and now Im waiting for NEW WAR update in december this year!!!!
December 15 my dude. the hype train is at full speed.
Two months later no part 2 lol
1: everyone hates Ordis
2: the map isn’t all the map
Ordis is based. He has the best one liners.

suggestion: clear the star map if you haven't already. make that your first priority. fair warning, uranus is the sewer level, but it's also important because it's what triggers the modern bit of the storyline in the quests.
The hair is looking FIRE my dude, glad to see things are going well.
I can't stop looking at his hair, help!
Damnit Mike, you're making me want to get back into Warframe!
Do it.
Do it.
Do it.
DO IT!!!
This comment right here deserves all the likes.
Go to the Second Dream quest!!!
How to describe what type of shooter is a warframe?
"There is a cover system in the game ... but only for the use of enemies."
Warframe has one of *the* best stories in video games. Was absolutely blown away when I first played. I look forward to seeing you make your way through to the current lines.
Kinda disagree other problem is we need to wait like 5 years on the next part everytime so ye. .
Yeah, I don't think the story is that good, but it just has some really great big moments.
Everybody is welcome to their own opinions of course.
It is definitely pretty good for a loot game.
TotalBiscuit once said: "Warframe is a sandcastle built on another sandcastle built atop another sandcastle". And that was five years ago.
@@miscast8180 It's a pretty impressive multilayer-sandcastle stack though, even if it's not exactly the most cohesive game out there.
@@normalmighty Indeed it is :) Don´t get me wrong. I have 1800 hours logged on steam. But the analogy was pretty on point.
Thanks
Hey Preach,
So, my suggestions.
Me who loves Oris sitting here like whyyyuu, he has such a good back story, I never want to erase his voice.
"Ordis" literally says his own name XD
Disclaimer: This was a joke.
I hope anyone who joins warframe from this video enjoys it like I did because it's a lot to take in.
yea new players that have to go to the wiki every 3 seconds to figure out what the fuck mods are and why they suddenly deal no damage
Warframes one of my favorite MMOs since taking a break from WoW crazy to see Preach checkin it out.
I hope you stay long enough to get to the main story line =D
Your gonna love that ;)
You can find them and what you need to access them in the CODEX which is on the left when you are in your ship facing the window.
The story in this game once you get into the latter missions is AMAZING.
I stopped playing WoW at the beginning of BFA, and Warframe was the game I moved to. Love to see Mike playing it as well. Welcome buddy!
