@@MasterPandaBearChannel Hello Julius, I hope you love it! It's been very stable, all I can think of is that it won't show a media player for Google Podcasts on the lock screen, but it hasn't bothered me enough to find a solution.
Honestly the F3 and X4 are both VERY powerful and nice phones, you can't go wrong with either selection. The difference in performance is mostly negligible in games, as an F3 user, I can play pretty much any game I want on the highest or near highest settings. But considering the fact that the X4 and F3 are very similarly priced, and the X4 is released a year after, has a slightly larger battery, and a better processor, I'd just go for the X4 at this point if I were to choose between the two. However, both phones are probably THE BEST options at this price point, without much exaggeration.
I’ve been looking at Poco X4 GT reviews for days, and only now discovered your channel. Your videos are great! No fluff and direct to the most important aspects. Excellent presentation too. Finally a flagship killer with an LCD(high quality), missed the opportunity of buying Mi 10T. Now the X4GT is probably my next go-to phone. Thanks for the comparison!

Thank you Miclew! I hope I always provide useful information. Between the Xiaomi 11T and the X4 GT? I'd say it depends on if you want a better screen and slightly better cameras from the 11T or a fast screen with better battery life and a much more powerful processor in the X4 GT. I actually like both phones, but I would go with the Poco-the screen is good enough for my use and I love that this phone always feels fast and sips power. I hope that helps!
Mi UI 13 on my Redmi K50i (the indian variant of the Poco X4 GT) does give an option to revert back to the normal horizontal recent app menu. BTW great detailed review and am glad I stumbled onto your channel.

Thank you Krayon! I wasn't sure whether to mention my possible touch sampling issues or not, since no one else has experienced that apparently. So thank you for the reassurance!
@@phonecomp well im planning to buy this because of the processor and for it's price. Poco offical site said that 270hz TS rate is only be applied in 90hz and 60hz. So im expecting 360hz TS rate in 144hz. In your video I think it's a Bug. Stock Rom has full of bugs. I hope xiaomi eu released it's custom rom soon. And I'll flashed that one for sure.
@@bthbst I hope it is just a bug on my phone, but Poco says "270Hz touch sampling rate can be reached when refresh rate is equal to or less than 90Hz." To me, that sounds like at 60 or 90Hz ts rate can hit 270, but at 120 or 144Hz refresh the ts will be slower than 270Hz. I could be misunderstanding, but either way I really like the X4 GT and I'm having a great time with it! Please let me know how much improvement you get from flashing a custom ROM!
To all who woll buy and use poco x4 GT. As a current owner my only advice to you all is once you encounter a bug do a factory reset specially after an Android 13 (miui 13.2.5) update it will fix majority of the bugs
I bought X4GT from Shopee and X4GT cost $300 (after conversion to USD) whereas F3 cost $385 but after discounts my X4GT cost $280. Where I live every month they have discounts example 1.1 (1 Jan), 2.2 (2 Feb), 3.3 (and so on till Dec, its like US version of black friday) and rebates/voucher, so my X4GT was closer to $270.
I am really leaning towards purchasing this X4 GT against it's sibling, the F4. The Dimensity 8100 chipset is just amazing for its price tag. While I really like the amoled display and the better camera on the F4, it is 90 USD more expensive compared to the X4 GT here in our country (UAE). And I don't know if I can benefit from it's camera for my toy photography hobby either as I can always borrow my wife's iPhone 13 Pro Max for that. I also don't personally like the camera design on the F4. And looking at most reviews, the IPS LCD display of the X4 GT is not that bad. The 3.5mm headphone jack is a big bonus as well. Great reviews by the way, new subscriber here!
Thanks CheeseNinja! It sounds like you could definitely be just as happy with the X4 GT. I agree with your assessment-and I've been more disappointed with the F4's camera recently. The only other device I'd suggest considering (if you haven't already) is the Pixel 6a. I prefer stock android over MIUI any day, even though MIUI has gotten better. And thank you for subscribing!
@@phonecomp I have considered it as well, however, it is way more expensive here and 128GB storage is too small for me considering that it has no expansion card slot. So still the X4 GT is still the one for me with my budget. 😄
@@cheeseninja7743 That makes sense! I'm hoping the Pixel 7a will be more competitive globally. I think Google might finally give it a 90hz display. It won't be able to compete with Poco on price, but I'll take more options for customers any day! Let me know how you get along with the X4 GT if you pick one up! I'm still very pleased with that phone.
@@phonecomp I am actually waiting on the black friday sale hoping that these phones would get some discounts. Until then, I'll continue my research on some other phones. 😊
What about F4? Is it worth the money if i can find it at about 50+ dollars over F3? I was thinking not, but OIS (which doesn't work properly at 4k 60fp from what I've seen) and faster charging speed seem kinda enticing to me, what do you think?
I'm just not sure, Julian. I haven't been able to test one yet, but I've been a big fan of the F3 over the last year and you're right-the F4 looks to be basically the same except for the possibly improved camera and faster charging. I don't think you'd regret the F4 (unless you specifically need a camera feature that may or may not work in the future), plus you gain longer software updates. $50 more than an F3 might be worth it! Sorry, I know that's not much help.
Hi bro and you may wanna go with the Vivo X80 or one of the Honor phones which are great and fantastic imo of seeing reviews, Im thinking of getting one. 💯
Thanks for the review, I just need a phone where I can play games without someone calling and buzzing the shit out of my phone, I currently own an Iphone 12 mini so, I don't think I'm going for another phone that has a good camera, so yeah, I'll just get an x4 gt.
Nice content. Your comparison review is more comprehensive than the others who just hype things😆. Good job. It would be interesting how X4gt and F3 sustain the performance under stressed. Like running repeated antutu test, and cpu throttling test to see how much scores will they dip.
@@phonecomp Really? I'll wait for those tests. Actually, between the x4gt and f3... the only redeeming factor to choose x4 gt is its performance. That's why it would be very interesting to test those 2 devices under several performance test. You know... if x4gt is really worthy for its trade-offs. Oh, and you can do triple devices (F3, F4, X4gt) performance-stress test... If you will have an F4 coming soon. I just sub today, and looking forward for another great content of yours!👍
@@phonecomp Including F3 is also a good idea. You can debunked the effectiveness of Poco's cooling system 2.0 of F4 vs 1.0 of F3... 😆 If that's only a gimmick or not.
Love your poco videos, especially the effects of installing gcam. 1 last thing before I pull the trigger - is google maps usable on Mediatek chipset? Had bad experiences 8 years ago using Mediatek powered phones on gps, was unusable when I needed to rely on google maps, but it was 8 years ago
That is exactly what I'm trying to provide--so thank you very much, Gen! I'm glad you liked it! At this very moment I'm editing a video on the X4 GT and Pixel 6A. There's a little more industry talk at the end, but these phones are an exciting development in the Android world and I just wanted to highlight that. It should go live Wednesday (in case you wanted to check it out).
@@phonecomp yes I'm eyeing Poco X4 GT now for my next phone. I was about to buy the X3 GT last year then a super typhoon hit us and it wasn't delivered successfully. I ended buying Lite 5G NE. This year X4 GT will be an amazing phone specially after software optimizations.
Oh wow! Sorry to hear about the typhoon, but I assume you're ok and things have gotten back to normal? You're absolutely right, after an update or two I think this will be an even easier phone to recommend. I am pleased that there aren't any critical bugs right now like there were early on with the F3. Looks like Poco is improving their at launch software, which is an important move. Is there anything about the NE you don't like specifically? I always wanted to test one.
Hey Jose! Sorry for the late response, but I would say purely for optimization-- to go with the F4. It's basically the F3, and it's Snapdragon 870 is well supported, compared to the new Mediatek processor in the X4 GT. I have the F4 coming this week, so I can be more thorough with my recommendation soon.
Hi bud great to see your comparison compared to other reviewers lol. I was looking at maybe getting this but changed my mind for the Honor V7 Pro with 8GB Ram, MTK Kompanio 1300T and has alot of features. Also will you review the Vivo X80? which is pretty powerful and has optimal cameras etc. also theres quite a few others. 💯
Hello InsistentMind! That sounds like a very interesting tablet, I'd love to do some tablet reviews one day. There are a lot of other brands that I would like to review--Vivo is high on that list--its just harder to pick those up in the states. As the channel grows and I can free up some resources, I will absolutely expand, but right now I don't have plans for X80 reviews (sadly).
i would still go for F3/F4 because of AMOLED screen, cameras, Qualcomm chip (better for GCam ports, custom roms, and some other things where MediaTek is still lagging behind)
All true Diego! I'm hoping as the Mediatek chips gain in popularity that more devs will target them for compatibility. I have been really happy with the X4 GT, but the F4 has plenty of advantages.
Good question Muscular Leopard, I'm considering making a comparison video with these two devices. I'm leaning toward the X4 GT though. It's processor is scoring well and does not throttle much at all compared to the F4 GT. For comparison the average scores for the CPU Throttle Test and 3D Mark's stress test begin much higher on the F4 GT, but the average result at the end of the stress tests (45 minutes on CPU Throttle, 20 for 3D Mark) the X4 GT beats the F4 GT's average scores. If you game in shorter spurts or don't play demanding titles, the F4 GT would be better with a nicer screen, the shoulder buttons, and the 8 Gen 1's great short term performance. But if you want to play Genshin for a while--im thinking the X4 GT is the better choice. There are interesting tradeoffs for sure.
Bro your content is awesome and helpful! Thank you for spending ur time for ppl to find a really good phone! But wich xiaomi phone you recomend overall most for it price?
Thank you Aze69! These are long videos to make, so when you say that it's helpful, it really means a lot. I would say on price alone, you get the most for your money with the F3--if you can find it on sale. It's close to the X4 GT in performance most of the time. If you're in the states, the F3 needs to be under $280 to make it worth buying compared to $360 for the X4 GT.
I agree Roswell, I didn't want to be too hard on it after seeing the improvement in the F3 over the last year. I think it's going to be the Poco phone to beat in terms of power at a budget price.
@@blockchainoverdrive6090 For sure, Blockchain. I'm using the X4 GT as my main phone right now, and I'm happy with it, but I'm especially curious about Android 13 on this device. It's probably going to be a while before we get that update though.

Hello Leo! It's certainly a personal preference, I just wish that it was set up horizontally by default with the option for a vertical layout. It can be a bit jarring to switch from any other non-Xiaomi device to Poco, Redmi, or Xiaomi phones partially due to the orientation of the recents screen. But I'm sure there are plenty of users who really like it!
Zakaria, that is a good question. I'm not sure, sometimes they lag behind a bit. I picked mine up from Never MSRP on eBay. I've bought from them before and have never had any issues. If I find out when Amazon will have them, I'll respond here!

Hey Mustafa! I haven't tested the F4 or Neo 2 yet, so I would say 11T if you want a better camera, X4 GT if you want the better processor. I do like Realme UI over MIUI, so if you have a preference there that would help you choose. Just skip the X4 Pro--not a good option at it's current price.
Correction, for the GT it's only 650 nits when running Dolby vision to view videos. Otherwise, it is completely unusable in direct sunlight at only 500 nits.
Hello Rodney! Thank you for the clarification, but I disagree that 500 nits is unusable in direct sunlight. It's not as bright as the Poco F4, but I still find it usable, and I have used the X4 GT for multiple months indoor and outdoor as my primary device. I do wish it was brighter. But I can certainly get by with 500 nits.
@@phonecomp The Pixel 2 is 483 nits and is completely unusable in direct sunlight on a sunny day. If you're using this for deliveries on an ebike or escooter it is worthless since you wouldn't be able to work on sunny days without stopping every 5 minutes to find a shaded area. It's trash. Not even sure whey this phone exists when there's the Poco F3. Is 10-15 percent higher benchmarks really worth not being able to see the screen? Even the X4 Pro has AMOLED.
@@RodneyJSM The X4 GT's display is a tradeoff. It's meant to better target the gaming community with it's 144hz refresh rate (even though it's touch sampling rate is less than the F3 or F4). I really enjoy it's processor, much more so than the X4 Pro's weak snapdragon 695. Id say if you are spending considerable time outdoors with your phone, the tradeoff in performance is worth the X4 Pro's much brighter display. But if you're targeting gamers (who I think are more likely to use their devices inside typically) then the faster processor is a must have. Whether you should get the F3 over the X4 GT is definitely a good question. I agree that most people are better served with the F3, but some will prefer the faster charging, refresh rate, and processor on the X4 GT. There are so many choices today that it comes down to what is the right phone for you, and that changes throughout the year with sales and new devices. Makes it a very interesting market to look at!
@@phonecomp Yeah, I guess if you're indoors much of the time it's fine 😆 I"m never going back to using a dim screen again though. I'll just go with the F3 as it's in the same range 😁
@@RodneyJSM The F3 is still a great device and and definitely a great choice for a brighter screen! Who knows, maybe the X5 GT will improve the display a bit this year?
The F3 is definitely an upgrade Anlo. You're getting a better screen, camera, and speakers on the F3 compared to the X4 GT. The X4 GT is fantastic, but mainly for it's battery life and processor.
@@phonecomp thank you so much for the help. More subs to come and btw you made the best comparison compared to other youtubers who just hype the phone 🤭💯
@@abdullahalmomin5426 It really depends on which one of those categories is the most important to you. I would say the X4 GT is the best for gaming, general performance, and battery life. If camera quality is more important then Id probably say the Realme or the 11i.
Ahhh man! You're right. I didn't catch that. I wish there was a good way to fix that without taking the video down and just uploading another with a correction. Ugh. That's going to bug me. But thank you for letting me know Blockchain!
Hey _xtain! Yes, the screens are a big difference. The F3's is bigger, brighter, and has the great blacks that come from AMOLED. If screen is your top priority, the F3 is better (as long as you don't specifically want to run it at 144hz).
Hello Peer! I'm liking the X4 GT more right now. Faster processor and battery life. Slightly worse camera and a dimmer screen though. It really depends on what you need from your phone?
@@acysolomon7253 hello Acy! Speakers are a little better on the F3, but not a huge difference. You do have a headphone jack on the X4 GT if you prefer that though.
Hello Jomari! The OnePlus Ace looks interesting, but I'm not sure I'll be able to pick one up for testing. I haven't even seen any Realme Q5 Pros in the states. Good suggestion, it's just harder to get those phones to test. Sorry!
Hello Usmanali! I agree, it will continue to get software updates and I'd probably keep it until 2024 really. If you have an F3, I wouldn't upgrade to an X4 GT, but if you're looking for a new phone now, I'd strongly consider skipping the F3. Does that make sense?
@@usmanaligoraya5219 I would say it depends on the price in your region and what features are most important to you. Gaming/headphone jack--get the X4 GT. Camera/bright screen--probably go with the F4. If the F3 is much cheaper than both, then it's still a good option. I've heard the Realme GT Neo 2 is also great (but I haven't had a chance to test it).
Hello Kukka! I haven't had the chance to test the F4 yet and there were already some comparison videos with the F4, so I figured the F3 would still be helpful. But I definitely still hope to pick up the F4 soon and test it out!
I am quite disappointed by the camera quality of poco x4 gt(Redmi k50i here in India). Gcam is also laggy in this device and I have seen gcam generally works better with snapdragon cpus. I compared x4 gt's camera with redmi note 9 pro max, which has the same sensor. Photos of note 9 pro max dont look overprocessed, oversharpened and too much saturated like x4 gt's.
Hello Somu! There are definitely better cameras on other phones at this price point for sure. And yes, GCam ports absolutely work better on Snapdragon powered devices. Besides video quality, I'm pretty happy with the X4 GT's camera performance. I'm working on a Pixel 6A vs X4 GT comparison right now and the Pixel's cameras are clearly better, but the Poco gets closer than I thought. I'm sorry your disappointed though, hopefully there will be some refinements to MIUI in future updates as well as some GCam ports with XML's that are tuned for this device and I expect we will see camera performance improve.
@@phonecomp I hope xiaomi improves the camera via updates. my 6gb variant has very bad ram management. I talked to a guy in Telegram and he said no ram management issue with the 8gb variant. I also hope for good enough gcam ports for this device. May be the reason I am disappointed by the camera quality is because of my previous device was pixel 3🤣
@@saswatmeher05 Hmmm are you sure you have the X4 GT and not the X4 Pro 5G? I don't think the GT comes in a 6gb ram option. Either way, the Pixel cameras are still a step up for sure, even the Pixel 3's! Oh and I haven't noticed any ram management problems on the X4 GT with 8gb ram (but I did not like the X4 Pro--just not a very good device for the price in my opinion).
Hello Rico! I generally agree, it might be the best value phone of the year apart from camera quality and screen brightness. And even in those categories, it's not bad--just not comparatively as great as the rest of the device.
Hello Not Flierby! I agree, headphone jacks are still important for many customers and it just doesn't make sense to remove them from all devices. If you're a gamer, or work in a production environment sometimes headphone jacks are essential! So yeah, essentially the best!
Hello Amir! I agree that a good AMOLED panel is better than an lcd, but I'm quite pleased with the performance from the 8100, more so than the 870 in my F3. As more developers put resources into optimizing for Mediatek chips, I think the experience will only improve.
Do you think it's worth to "upgrade" from a Poco F3 to this? As in, I DREAD using dongles and I use earbuds the vast majority of the time so they are super inconvenient and annoying since they stick out so much and have to be careful when sitting or kneeling cause you may bend it and even potentially ruin the USB C port.... also I don't really game much (at all) anymore and cameras are not too important for me, but letting the cool and very bright AMOLED go... I don't know. As in, I daily drive an LG G3 with 390 nits LCD and it doesn't really bother me that much.. but idk. If the Poco F3 had a headphone jack I wouldn't even be considering the X4 GT... it's that relevant. Side to side, which one would you personally pick? Thanks a lot and amazing content, Im glad I discovered your channel!
Hello KimuTone! Thank you and I think you would be better served by the X4 GT. Since you're currently using the G3, the screen on the GT will still be an upgrade and you keep the headphone jack. The only more powerful phone I can think of with a headphone jack is 2x the price (Asus Zenfone 9). You could wait for the Redmi Note 12 series if they are available in your region, but they are running a weaker processor. I'm with you, skip the dongles and get Poco's best phone of the year, or the Poco X5 might also have a headphone jack though--if you want to wait. Thankfully there are a few options. Also Sony still includes headphone jacks on their devices, but I think they are overpriced for most users.
@@kimutone2970 Definitely! Let me know if you have any issues. I don't know if you've used MIUI before, but it can be a little rough around the edges. Not bad, but one of the weaker flavors of Android in my opinion

To me, that sounds like at 60 or 90Hz ts rate can hit 270, but at 120 or 144Hz refresh the ts will be slower than 270Hz. I could be misunderstanding, but either way I really like the X4 GT and I'm having a great time with it! Please let me know how much improvement you get from flashing a custom ROM!
Hey man, thanks for all the bitesize info and even the GCam usage! This looks really clean and professional.
Thank you Patrick! I hope it's useful info! Always worth trying GCam, even though it might not be an improvement. Do you use GCam?

Thanks Ordinary Gamer! Glad you liked it!
Wow bro, is the first time that I watch one of your videos, nice job! Very informative, I will buy a poco x4gt after this. Greetings for México!
Thank you very much Omar! Just don't forget to make sure your wireless carrier will support it!
Thank you for letting me know Ainz! With that price difference the X4 GT is even more attractive! Great deals!
Awesome comparaison
Does the x4gt has the same screen as the xiaomi k50i since they're exactly the same im talking about the FFS lcd display?
Thank you Djalil! It's listed as IPS for the X4 GT, but I believe everything else is the same.
@@phonecomp Thanks so there's not a specific thing that says they have the same display
@@djalilderr2831 That's right. I bet the difference is really small though
Thanks for the review, I just need a phone where I can play games without someone calling and buzzing the shit out of my phone, I currently own an Iphone 12 mini so, I don't think I'm going for another phone that has a good camera, so yeah, I'll just get an x4 gt.
Hello Haise! The X4 GT should definitely have you covered there! I hope you enjoy it!
Nice content. Your comparison review is more comprehensive than the others who just hype things😆. Good job. It would be interesting how X4gt and F3 sustain the performance under stressed. Like running repeated antutu test, and cpu throttling test to see how much scores will they dip.
Thank you PiZZa! That's a good idea, I have an F4 coming this week so I'll revisit some of those performance tests for sure.
Thanks for the sub! I'll see if I can throw the F3 in during the stress tests.
Thank you Quan! Mediatek has absolutely come a long way since then and I'm happy to say that gps and Google Maps have worked fine for me.

I like this comparative video. Simply said yet very informative and direct to the point.

Thank you Brian!
Which do you recommend between the f4 and the x4 gt, I'm looking for smooth performance and good optimization
X4 gt
Hello, please put the speed test of these two models.
Hello! I'm working on an F4 comparison soon and I'll be sure to add in more speed test content.
There's a problem in tone perso personalization. It keep coming back to default tone
Hello, John! I have to admit, I have not tried assigning individual tones to contacts, but that is a weird bug. Hopefully an update will fix that!
i would still go for F3/F4 because of AMOLED screen, cameras, Qualcomm chip (better for GCam ports, custom roms, and some other things where MediaTek is still lagging behind)
All true Diego! I'm hoping as the Mediatek chips gain in popularity that more devs will target them for compatibility. I have been really happy with the X4 GT, but the F4 has plenty of advantages.
Hi sir, can you suggest which better, the F4GT or the X4GT?
Price difference is high
True, Butter. Difference is around $100 in the states.
Great comparison it is very informative thankyou🤩
Glad you liked it Mark! Thank you!

Poco X4 GT is the one with the Mediatek D8100 processor? Seems like a gaming beast.
It is Benjamin! As long as game developers support higher settings it can run just about anything. Yes, a solid chip from Mediatek.
I'm sure the x4 gt will be more optimize in the future updates
I agree Roswell, I didn't want to be too hard on it after seeing the improvement in the F3 over the last year. I think it's going to be the Poco phone to beat in terms of power at a budget price.
I can't wait for the future optimizations :)

Id say if you are spending considerable time outdoors with your phone,
the tradeoff in performance is worth the X4 Pro's much brighter display.
@@phonecomp Yeah, I guess if you're indoors much of the time it's fine 😆
I"m never going back to using a dim screen again though. I'll just go with the F3 as it's in the same range 😁
@@RodneyJSM The F3 is still a great device and and definitely a great choice for a brighter screen! Who knows, maybe the X5 GT will improve the display a bit this year?
I have a poco x3 pro is it a upgrade if I choose Poco F3 or should I go for Poco x4 GT? Help me decide
The F3 is definitely an upgrade Anlo. You're getting a better screen, camera, and speakers on the F3 compared to the X4 GT. The X4 GT is fantastic, but mainly for it's battery life and processor.

Hello Rico! I generally agree, it might be the best value phone of the year apart from camera quality and screen brightness. And even in those categories, it's not bad--just not comparatively as great as the rest of the device.
A headphone jack is the best
Hello Not Flierby! I agree, headphone jacks are still important for many customers and it just doesn't make sense to remove them from all devices. If you're a gamer, or work in a production environment sometimes headphone jacks are essential! So yeah, essentially the best!
Amoled is better than lcd & sd 870 is better overall then mediatek 8100
