    Excellent video! I have an early release Retron 1HD from 2017. It was not compatible with the everdrive at all. Can you confirm (besides the famicom disk system games you showed) if the newer release Retron 1HD actually does work with the everdrive now? Thanks!

      Yes. So the Retron 1 HD and the restaurant 3 HD will both play games often Everdrive N8. However the in game save states do not work because it doesn't recognize the key presses however the regular battery saves do work so you can't do the instant save states but you can save everywhere the game allows. If you are going to be playing on HDMI based TVs and not CRTs I would seriously recommend you take a look at the Retro USB AVS. Those suckers can do EVERYTHING. ruclips.net/video/esFCkANsroY/видео.html

    How can I get audio if my monitor has no audio?...just only image. i mean i have audio by subwoofer

      Well, hyperkin systems either use HDMI or Component RCA AV. Depending on what you have hooked up. So. If you're trying to connect your system to an HDMI monitor That absolutely does not have any kind of audio output on it, such as a headphone, jack, or external line out for audio systems. Then you might need to get an HDMI audio splitter/extractor

    I'm having issues with the Retron 3 HD when playing PAL SNES games. The graphics can flash or freak out for a split second during playing and it happens frequently enough to be really annoying.

      Did you set the dip switch on the bottom of the console to PAL mode before playing a PAL game? It's my understanding is that you need to toggle it when you switch between a ntsc and pal game. Unfortunately I don't have any PAL games myself. However my friend Marcy has her childhood Super Nintendo games from Wales

      @@8bitjoystick Well yeah off course. It's a really weird problem but I hope it's just a defect in my unit. So I bought another one. Would be neat though if you could check out how your friend marcy's games run on your console though. When I say flashes it like happens every 10 minutes or so.

      @@thatssomegoodpie Well, I can load a PAL version of a game on my EverDrive and play it on mine. What game is giving you the most problems. Are you playing via HDMI or a CRT TV?

      @8bitjoystick  Месяц назад

      @@thatssomegoodpie seriously let me know what games they're giving you trouble and I can test it out on my system using an everdrive. I can load up a PAL game ROM and play it via HDMI mode. However, all of my CRT TVs are NTSC. I would even make a little video about it

      @thatssomegoodpie Месяц назад

      @@8bitjoystick Well, every PAL game. It's not a game specific issue. It's the console not handling PAL video output properly. The dipswitch has to be set to PAL though.

    yes they are i had the one that was nes only and only ever had one game not play.

      Well NES compatibility is easy since there are not many special chips in the cartridges. The Famicom was a different story with Konami and Sunsoft putting chips in their games.
