Thank you so much, I honestly find it’s so easy with your way of how you made its.thank you again and I love your pumpkins ❤️🎃❤️ gorgeous little daughter too🎀🧸🎀
Recently I commented on Liz Fenwicks channel asking what to do with my bucket of leftover wallboard joint compound. Then yesterday I decided to make paper mache pumpkins. And now here you are with paper mache pumpkins using joint compound! It’s alllll coming together perfectly 🎉 I don’t know about you but my life doesn’t usually flow this nicely 😅😂 Thank you!
I realize this is an older vid but i made some of these last week and i didnt tape down where i tied the bag on top and used that as my stem. If you wrap it with tape, it works just fine. But i had a great time making these, thank you for sharing this!
I’m using crumpled up newspaper 📰 to fill the plastic bag, doubling up with two plastic bags since newspaper does have some creases/pointy parts when crumbled. Just very loosely crumpling the newspaper so it doesn’t create bulky, round bulges. So far so good 👌🏻 looks the same as stuffing with plastic bags. I needed about one weekday newspaper, little less.
Thank you maybe next year for these..im pumpkin wreath full at the moment but ,loved love this 😀 bunches..this grandmother has friends in Fla like myself who lo e learning these things too..I teach them here where I live ❤️
So cute! I had my kiddo paint some pumpkins last year and it broke my heart having to throw them away when they rotted. Planning on making these for her to paint this year and keep to display for years to come! Thanks for the great tutorial!
Awesome tutorial! Doing it this way, you can get whatever size/shape you want since you're making them each time and not relying on a mold. I'm thinking of using a balloon filled with sand for weight inside so I can use them on a covered porch. Have you tried this?
So cute! New sub here. Question .. Why use all that tape? After refining first lines could you put clay or paper mache over plastic? I loved the shape of just the thin tape and plastic.
Souledout 4Jesus hi there! Thanks for subscribing 🤗 and that is a great point about the tape. I haven’t tried it yet like that the only thing I would be curious if if went lumpy with the weight of the plaster mixture on just the plastic bags ..but I love to save on products crafts and be resourceful so it is always worth a try 🤗
CrookTribe it’s your craft and it came out perfect!!! I really was just curious cause I don’t have the fat tape lol. Thank you for reply and God bless you through this journey.
I have been searching high and low for a simple pumpkin diy I love the white ones we don’t have big ones in the uk like you guys have. I love how you used plastic bags 🙌🏼 your so creative honey! Thankyou for sharing this 💕
Jessica Moylan thank you so much !! Your kind words mean a lot and I haven’t posted in a minute but I do plan on dropping another crafting vid soon 🥰 also the UK 😍 it’s my dream to go there, how awesome!!
CrookTribe heyy! Ahh really excited to see what diy you have coming up. It’s so hard to run a family and keep up with youtube but you do have such a creative flare! If it’s your passion do it 💜 hope to see more from you soon, but hey no pressure lol 🥰 Hope you and your family are well thanks for your reply honey 💕
Dana Cowles Hi there ! I used a larger sized shopping bag like from target , but you could totally use a garbage bag!! Then just follow the same steps just a bigger scale 🤗 Thanks for watching and Happy Crafting!!
I really enjoyed your video on making these pumpkins. I would like to make a half of pumpkin. Similar to something that would hang up against a wall. How would you suggest I make it? Should I make a whole pumpkin then cut it in half. Should I use the plastic bags and have them but up against a piece of cardboard? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
Hi there sorry for the late response but if your still curious i would use a thick cardboard in the shape of a pumpkin and then start stacking the bags on top and make it as i would a whole pumpkin 🤗 hope this helps and a great idea too!! happy crafting!
I'm here watching this video to make the pumpkins because I live in Latin America and here don't sell that type of pumpkins, happy halloween/October!! ❤️✨
sherry peach hi there and happy Halloween 🎃 that’s awesome your trying out this project 🤗 I hope you have fun with it and it turns out the way you want 😄 thanks for watching!!
Alondra Cochran you would need to cover with a heavy sealer like a polycrylic a water based should be ok plus it is less fuming and paint it outside for better ventilation. Also I would keep it on a porch that has an over hang so it wouldn’t be in direct elements or just bring it under cover if it does rain just in case 😊 so glad you like the vid and happy crafting!!
I watched your video, went to the store to buy all the ingredients, I’m making it now and I’m waiting for the top to dry so I can do the bottom. Thank you!
For those wondering why you shouldn't use DAP, it's because when it's mixed with glue it becomes rubbery. Unless they've changed the formula in the past few years, I wouldn't try it.
One problem. You should get to the point instead of talking and giving such a big intro .Just a suggestion because it gets boring when u talk and what we came for is not shown fast so .....hope u get it
I love this idea. Thanks for sharing 😊

Maybe you shouldn’t say anything if you don’t have anything nice to say!
