I have a CVA hunter in 45-70. It's basically the scout without a threaded muzzle and a nitritde Finnish. I find the comb on the stock a little low for the rail. What height rings do you recommend for the scout? I can't decide between medium or high to get maximum comfort.

True to a point I just traded a 270wsm with a z3 swarovski for a 2k boat so if they are premium scopes they hold there value

You never get any extra money trading in a rifle with the scope on it. However i have seen used rifles with very nice glass making them a steal!
