Nice hunt, very small digging tool you use for a beach, I use a full size shovel and drag it behind me to leave tracks so I can grid pieces out systematically. with the lack of rock on that beach a sand scoop would be a go as well, enjoy the vids.
Thanks for watching! I prefer the compact hand digger when I’m hunting the dry (and inter-tidal) areas and like to dig minimal sized holes, but I do use the long handled scoop when hunting in the water, and in the sand near the low tide line etc. I use my feet to mark the grid lines. Happy hunting Mark!
Nice to watch detecting from the other side (of the earth that is - here in Oxnard California) Is there a reason you use a small hand shovel rather than a sand scoop attached to let's say a broom handle (which I use when digging in the sand)
Thanks for watching! I find it far easier to carry a small, light weight hand shovel if I'm only hunting the dry sand (or the edge of the wet/dry during lower tides). If I'm detecting in the water then I do have a long handled sand scoop that I use instead.
@@coilsandcoinsdetecting should have guessed you found it easier. My bit of arthritic knees were saying “owww” every time you getting down to dig. I just have to have that sand scoop with the broom handle. Thanks again for the vids, do enjoy them
Another really enjoyable video Steve😊. It's so nice to find a good coin spill isn't it? This has spurred me on to go beach detecting this weekend on my favourite beach on Anglesey, North Wales (uk) and brave the cold(winter here) I just need to detect! 🤑🤑. Top vid🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
@@coilsandcoinsdetecting Hi Steve... apart from the usual rubbish like bottle caps, dog tags etc, mainly modern coins, some pre-decimal back to about late 1800's, occasionally rings(about 10 last year), silver jewellery, the odd mobile phone. The other thing I find is peace and quiet 🤫 and stunning scenery - a lot like the beaches in your videos. (check out Red Wharf Bay, Benllech, Moelfre, Beaumaris and Camaes Bay). This is as important as finds😊. Keep up the good work and top videos. 👍👍👍
I use the WM08 wireless module with earbuds when I’m detecting, and when I find a target that I want the viewer to hear I press the WiFi button to disconnect the module so the audio goes through the main speaker and not the earbuds.
nice hunt!
Thanks!

Yay was hoping you would find a ring and u did.
You may need to get a loupe to see the writing
I’ve been lucky with rings lately, having found at least one on each of my last 4 beach hunts! I’m sure this run will come to an end though.

Thanks Phil! A coin spill is always welcome. Good luck out there! What are the typical finds for a beach in your area?

Hey there! Thanks for watching!
thanks for the vid
No problem!
Hi Steve, are you considering switching to the Minelab Manticore?
I'm definitely tempted - maybe in 6 months or so once all of the kinks are ironed out with it...
@@coilsandcoinsdetecting makes sense…I’ll be figuring mine out as have just got one. My wife and I enjoy your channel.
Hello great videos 👍. Every time you get a signal you touch a button on the top right on the equinox panel what button are you touching and why ?
