iPhone is NOT the BEST Camera Smartphone!

- It's a common belief that iPhones take the best photos and videos in the smartphone world. In reality, no smartphone is. In this video, I go about debunking that myth by comparing the iPhone 14 Pro to a competing flagship, the Galaxy S23 Ultra and a reputed photography wizard, the Google Pixel 7A.

We are waiting for your 15 Pro max vs S23 Ultra camera review.. 🙈
Most Apple owners have never tried another phone.
Been an iphone user for 10 years and I've tried a Google pixel 7 and Samsung Galaxy S20 FE and after months of trying to get adjusted to Android , I will be switching back to iphone
@@Compulsive-Elk7103 To each his own.
Lol u 100 percent right because they believe iphone is the best phone out there they dont know nothing than iphone
@@Compulsive-Elk7103 why dont you try s23? Why do you compare 1000$ phones with 600$?
@@Compulsive-Elk7103He said, most
Overall S23 Ultra that's it..
Thanks😂
You saved my time
Thats my phone ❤
@CreatedbyJadon apple boy alert

Pixel it is💥
Just bought the Galaxy S23 Ultra to accompany my iPhone 12 Pro Max (2 years old), after comparing both of them, I prefer the direct post like pictures of the S23 Ultra but the iPhone is more consistent with its results & also the main difference I see between them is HDR management (better on S23 Ultra).
I also like my 12 Pro Max photos a lot because it does not have the over processing of the 14 Pro/Pro Max & sometimes the pictures of the S23 Ultra go quite unnatural & AI favoured.
But I love both the phones✌🏼
Exactly, i am using s23 and ip14... S23 deliver much better images; also good video ✌️
IPhones are always overhyped anyway. They are never as good as apple would have you believe
I bought the s23 ultra. I had an iPhone 12 pro. Video shooting is greatly improved over the s23 ultra. As for portraits and regular shots, the s23 ultra is far superior to its competitors. I like both of them, but so far the superiority of the 23, and I am looking forward to the iPhone 15. Thanks for video❤❤
s24 ultra 😉
Always dropping great tech reviews. Keep it up man!
Wow, this is the best camera comparison I've seen. Shame that pixel phones aren't sold in South Africa.
Samsung usually have better camera and iPhone usually have better video. But the galaxy is catching up on video
i agree.
Worth watching your video…Keep up the good work…good that you added the last bit …have fun
Thanks! 😃
in my use case, i found that the iphone's image-sharpening processing starts w the 13 series. i have a iphone 11 & had an SE & i still find the everyday photos from those phones much better & pleasing overall. the iPhone 13 is a mixed bag.
but i definitely lean on the iphones when it comes to video! they are great for that!
in terms of pictures, its Android+iphones on an as-needed basis.
cool video & thank you for sharing the hot take 🎉
Great video
Thanks for your input and thoughts
Thank you for the comparison, we appreciate all the effort.... i have a question on ur editing software, its crazy smooth and entertaining... i use capcut, and ur editing doesnt look like capcut
Very informative, I enjoyed the video
Very good Job bro
Your videos are very detailed and knowledgeable 😊❤
Thanks buddy!
i love this, it's true and i really think it really all depends on the consumer's in the end 😊
Great video!
You Put Some Serious efforts in your videos. Kudos to Your Video making Skills and Style. 👍👌❤️
Thanks a ton mate...hats off to my team.
Nice detailed camera comparison.... If only google pixel pro models focus on hardware instead of software tweeks and use AI and ML to a larger extend... Hope pixel upgrade their camera hardware.... Nice work👍
I have both the 14 pro max and s23U and my iPhone friends get annoyed to hear the truth that iPhone camera is subpar this year-- highlight, shadow control and processing of the image overall with a subject close by blowing the whole background is a mess. I love my S23U and it's my primary for camera needs. People need to stop hyping in general with the iPhone being the best camera it's sadly not. Case closed!!
How about performance while gaming? Battery n Temperature which one it's better?
@@Xiaoyixiann Also have an iPhone and #GalaxyS23Ultra. battery temperature is not a problem (has vapour chamber) and battery life on Samsung s23u is magnificent. I swear on my life, there are some instances I charge my phone once in 48hrs, if I don't have heavy usage.
Nice all that things you mention and comparison but only in tests with static objects .Try iphone in real life situations like indoor photography with people and kids, and then tell us the results. Fast shutter, accurate and not blurry photos like samsung that i have to take 10 photos in order to have one good.. i would like to hear your opinion on my comment.
I agree. But you're again picking a use case. I understand this is a major use case for parents with very young kids or pets, but if I had to cover every such use case, this would be a very long video buddy. And I totally agree with you, iPhone is much better at taking shots of moving subjects. Undoubtedly..
I love your videos bro, keep it up
Great video !!!!!!
Thanks a lot for your quality content !!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is why I bought the Pixel 7 Pro because I value great pictures. For me, it's the best for my needs. It is a shame we can't have the best of all three built-in to one single camera system.
Unique concept😮🔥
I'm happy you can't really go wrong with any of the devices. Tech has gotten so good.
Couldn’t agree with you more mate. When I got my IP13P, its cameras performed quite well as one would expect.
However, with subsequent software updates, their performance actually got worse. Funnily enough, my sister who owns an IP14P, says that her camera quality is still great!
I don’t know if this is down to particular model degradation via a software update, but if that’s true, it’s ridiculous. While the quality of videos are still remarkable, the same can no longer be said about still photos.
Sometimes, I find my older Oppo F19 Pro 128GB (then costing around INR 20,000) from early 2020, taking more reliable shots than my iPhone 13 Pro 256GB (costing appx INR 125,000), which is ridiculous!
In the initial part of the video, when you said you're using Pixel 7a to compare with flagships iPhone and Samsung, I thought you should use flagship Pixel 7 Pro to match with them. But in the end, the Budget pixel blows them out of the water...Wonderful..!!
Honestly, I didn't have pixel pro. But then I thought it might be interesting to see, that even the 7a blows away☺️
Its a defaming Iphone and praising pixel 7a video. Just added 23 Ultra to distract from the above theme. 😂😂
Yes I'm a Android guy but man this so biased 😂😅
@@cospinkristijan2267What's biased?
You can see it for yourself in the video, the cons of the iPhone
Your English has improved a thousand fold
You are working hard !
So is the iPhone a proposition ?
And would the
IPhone 15 Pro Max be a proposition
?
Changing the screen profile from vivid to natural actually and oddly affects the colorimetry of Galaxy photos and videos, and also, you have to choose the natural profile for selfies and disable the scene optimizer.
And also, personally, I don't find the iPhone 14 Pro Max better than the S23 Ultra in day and night video.
Very interesting how stuff shifted, samsung takes the best selfies now with the best portrait mode and apple has better nightmode and their screen caught up 😂
True
man !! you are the content king right now
Wow i found pixel to be the best overall in still photos
Your video has everything bit of information I never found answer to in terms of camera quality comparison between these brands. I’ve only been considering iPhones for its camera since most ppl I know have been taking great photos with it. I’m currently using an iPhone 12 Pro Max and I think it’s time to switch back to Android. I think there’s no reason for me to stick to iPhones moving forward.
Which one for photography?? Especially landscape and portrait??
Samsung S23 ultra or iPhone 14 Pro, which should I go for?
Thanks as I await your reply.
i think the magenta tone is due to the warm mode
Can you do a review of honor x9a?
Love you ❤ . Most unbiased content 💯🔥🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Pixel does so much in camera despite being cheaper
Magic of software optimization
Unfortunately, yes, the iPhone video* is the best video quality on a phone on Earth... pictures are a different story.
Its easy to identify iphones images its always warmer tone
We're wairing for s23 ultra and pixel 7a comparison
Does the orange in the shoes for exp depend upon what color profile you have your S23 set to? Vivid vs Natural.
S23 does not have a setting like that for photos. Natural vs vivid is a display setting.
I think you meant scene optimizer
@@TechTime... I was referring to the screen color profile I'm not sure if what you have that set on would affect how the image coming from the camera is produced. Tho switching profiles from Amoled to sRGB changes contrast in all images on my pc. Maybe thats all I need.
@@mobiscrubChanging the screen profile from vivid to natural actually and oddly affects the colorimetry of Galaxy photos and videos, and also, you have to choose the natural profile for selfies and disable the scene optimizer.

Please Do Camera comparison between s23 / s23 plus vs iphone 14 pro / pro max . Thank you !
what about details on pixel 7a ?
damnn again quality content
thanks buddy....this one really gave my video editing machine a tough time! 🤣
Interesting comparison of the different phones. Does the iphone has a filter on it? I like the iPhone for mist photos video Samsung wins and night mode.
Samsung n Google phones rely heavily on processing as compared to Iphone. I am using S22 plus and there is post processing which improves the picture quality
If google fixed heating issue in pixel then no phone can compete with them.
I also want to buy pixel but only hesitating due to heating problem. For that i still not buy any phone waiting for pixel to solve heating issue so that i can buy pixel
Agreed.
damn that 1st shot cant imagine kitni mehenat lagi hogi
Them pixels r really good n I'm a Samsung fanboy
lol that last shot
Aap dilli se ho?
If only if MrWhosetheBoss would take some pointers from you on how to make an unbiased mobile camera review, that would be great.
As an iphone 14 pro user yes i have been editing alot and been comparing my photos on my older huwawe p30 none pro and yes my huwawe still makes better photos than my iphone.
That must have burnt soooo many butts 😅😅🤣
If you use 10x zoom and takes many pictures ans stich the pictures togin photoshop u get very good pictures with deepth with samsung s23 ultra
an extremely small audience segment uses the 10X zoom.
iphones have hdr problem, lens flare problem, agressive post processing and still isheeps believe its the best 😂
@mobiscrub
By percentage you are correct
which means I am wrong
But Samsungs shutter is unforgivable
True
why not the Google Pixel 7 Pro though? I wonder how it'd have performed
I went to Nubra Valley and had a few pictures clicked with 14 pro they were so so over HDR'ed
What about pixel 7 pro video versus iphone 14 pro video?
iPhone 14 Pro video - undoubtedly.
The zoom in part the iPhone takes it. It’s crispier cleaner. The pixel u said looks better but it’s a lul pixelated
why 7a and not 7pro?
your video r 😍
I watched the video on my pixel 7a Coral.
For me the real issue with samsung camera processing is when capture photo the green object such tree or grass, leaves is too much or oversaturated. And samsung not yet fix when record video quality is oversharpening, overprocess, 60 fps video also jitter when panning not smooth like iphone.
true..the saturating of green on Samsung phones is quite evident.
@@joelo5164 mile ahead in term of zoom, video not yet on par with iphone.. Samsung since s6 video quality still same oversharpening especially tree very artifact.but samsung s23 has improve a lot in term video.
But most people prefer the iPhone because apps like instagram are more optimised for iOS meaning most pictures or videos look better when you upload with an iPhone. I wish Samsung was optimised too. 😢
June update ¿¿S23ULTRA??
I have to say, Samsung really catched up with Apple or even surpass them in certain metrics.
Its really satisfying to see android beat iPhone in the only category it was good at.
Bro In My My Area There Is A No Asus Shope I Mean My State.....😅And I Wanna Purchase Asus Rog Strix G18 ...😅And What Happen If Any Problem Will Appear 😢What Will I Do 😅 Please Help I Am From India Please Bro
Thank you! The iPhone can’t take picture of up close of items, it just can’t focus.
The iPhone 14 pro can't because of its new focal length. It's a bit annoying for sure.
Vivo X90 pro+,Oppo find X6 pro, S23 Ultra, Huawei/Honor, Mi 23 ultra, pixel 7a !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
iPhone 13 Pro. I can take pro photos. Sorry. I don’t have those Andriod’s phone. I have the galaxy note 20 5 G. Yeah it takes bright colors and can zoom in pixels too. Overall Samsung wins but this iPhone I didn’t buy. My other half did. 😅
I can feel that 4:17
I agree iPhone's really struggles in dynamic range hdr processing is 🤮on ios
"Smartphone Camera" is the correct way 👍🏼
Interesting.. Here's my logic to it.
iPhone is a smartphone and not a camera.
Hence, calling it a smartphone camera categorises it as a camera, which it is not.
But calling it a camera smartphone, keeps it in the smartphone category, which it is.
@@mobiscrub whilst I do understand how you have come to your conclusion, I would say, the term "Smartphone Camera" categorises it amongst all other cameras on smartphones and not against all cameras in general.
Also, whilst I may be incorrect, the term "camera smartphone" doesn't make sense to me grammatically.
Edit: Camera Smartphone would imply a dedicated camera that has smartphone capabilities. Which to my knowledge isn't available widely.
Why not pixel 7 pro?
I didn't have it🙁

Guess what. Setting the iPhone to "Warm" gives you the magenta cast that you are bitching about. However, to me, all of the cameras are good. Pick the one you like the best and be happy.
Think you shoudl remove the camera protector 😆
my frnd bought a IPHONE 14 and he says my moms 15k Moto G60 takes better photos all due to GCAM(108MP) it takes good pictures because i copied the xml file available on the internet which tries to replicate DSLR

Xiaomi 13 pro has by far the best camera as far as I am concerned, I checked iphone 14 pro, samsung s22 ultra.... I am sure that xiaomi did a better job....
Its not the best for gaming too. . isheeps believe otherwise....
I use vivid filter on my iPhone and the photos come amazing.
I’ve seen vivid to add a cold white balance and also too much contrast. Something that Samsung used to do alot. When do you take most pictures? Day time?
@@mobiscrub Yes during day.
Never even thought of that! Just tried it out and it looks so much better! Cheers.
