This tune makes me think of my middle-school-period 1949-1955.

A wonderful band doing one of the best traditional jazz tunes, all captured crisply by James Sterling. For me, this is the perfect start to a day.

Man that tuba rocks with its bass line and 🙂

Of course, it's a sousaphone, which is probably needlessly pedantic. They're basically the same horn wound up differently.

    Tight. I'm diggin' it.

What a great band!! love all those bouncy tunes toe tapping styles of Dixieland Jazz...previously, as an avid fan and listener of other several names and popular Jazz Bands around...I stopped listening to them since I discovered this New Orleans' pride... "Tuba Skinny" love the way they execute their perfect timing of each tune they play and also the cover of their tunes they played from the original version are even more better....no offense to Billy Vaughn who popularized the tune "SAY SI SI" but I love the Tuba Skinny version ....

This is a great session at The Madison. The acoustics are exceptional. You’ll be hard pressed to find a better soundtrack outside a studio. Once again James great job and thanks

They always seem to come up with songs I never heard before. Great sound. Looking forward to seeing them again this year during ny area tour.

The choice of music is always what you expect from TS most of the pieces haven't been heard by me or many others I would think. So very talented, thank you for sharing.

It was cold that day and The Maison leaves the front door open right next to the bandstand, so yes, she was wearing long pants.
