Started a couple of weeks ago and have just finished all 5 books. Honestly is some of the most brilliant writing i've ever read. You hit the nail on the head, pierce brown is able to create a dystopian sci-fi universe without focusing too much on the sci-fi like a lot of authors, but enough too keep you wanting more. The 1st person writing and the character development completely immerses you in the story. I can't do the book justice enough. I really hope pierce browns idea to make it a tv series doesn't ruin it.
TV adaptations of books are always risky. A lot can go wrong. Seems like they came into fashion with Game of Thrones, but those GOT novels were absolutely massive, and the pace of the show was quite slow per episode. I'm not sure how many seasons they could squeeze out of this series. If they respect the story and not try to squeeze it out into a longer run, it could be pretty good. But, woof, thinking about the budget needed to do this thing justice is exhausting.
You all probably dont give a damn but does anyone know of a method to log back into an instagram account..? I was stupid forgot my account password. I would love any help you can give me

You are DEFINITELY NOT the only Howler! I began reading Red Rising a few weeks ago and have already made it through book five, desperately wanting more of Pierce Brown's amazing, cinematic writing. I've been forcing all my friends and relatives to read Red Rising, so I was looking for a video to provide a brief synopsis to justify why they should read it. Really appreciate that this video sings to Pierce's incredible story telling without spoilers! Hard to do. Omnis Vir Lupus awooo!!
Omnis Vir Lupus! I’m on my second read through (well listen through) within a matter of months! Finished dark age a few weeks ago and went straight into my second listen. Now on golden son for the second time. This has risen to one of my favourite series of all time
Great review. Had many of the same thoughts and comparisons while I read it the first time. This series is one I’ve reread more than any other. Not sure why. But I truly love the first and second series. Book 6 is coming up in summer of 2022. I’ll be te-reading the series again, one month ata time up to the release.

Have you read all of them? Still waiting on the last one to come out, but it feels like two trilogies in one saga to me.
I haven't read the 5th book yet Dark Age but I have it so it's on my list. I hear a 6th book is coming soon too.
I really enjoyed the hunger games series, so I’ll give a try to the red rising !
