Thank you for the interview Brian! It was such a blast to see you and Kelly! Safe Travels
Thank you! Keep on truckin' my friend! 😊👍✌
Awesome interview Karli & Brian 👍🏻💪🏻
Wow I never saw ur rig look so cleeeeeeennnn b4. AdventureVanMan good influence, eh?
Karli r0x!!!
Karli is a Cutie! 😘👍
Karli's videos are great. She doesn't sugar-coat anything, and she takes you along in ways other RUclipsrs don't. Definitely check her channel out!
That's the thing about older vans--they don't always have parts available. Mine is a '94 and my airbag sensor is 'obsolete" and there is no replacement. I just watch the light blinking, wondering if the stupid thing would work, or if it will just pop out of the steering wheel at some random time... Adventure awaits! lol
Some of the very best videos are nomads interviewing other nomads ... good job Brian and Karli.
Love you both!
Great tour of van life. Thanks.
Curious Karli has a great channel. And thank you Adventure Van Man for showing her rig. Glad you to met up. Thanks for all the vids bro. Hop to see you both out on the road.
Awesome interview!
Nice and simple. A lot of people don't realize how little it takes to be able to travel comfortably.
And a good point, if you are not too skilled mechanically try and keep your systems simple enough that you can repair them or at least rig up something that will work for a while until you get what you need. What a nice girl! It's always a surprise to hear someone tell it like it is, vanlife isn't always rainbows and unicorns. But if you have a means to make an income and can live with the basics comfortably it is a great way to see all this country has to offer.
Thanks for doing this interview Brian you asked the real questions and we heard real answers. How refreshing is that! Happy travels!
Beeps.
Great interview!
Brian, you certainly do a great interview video. Dean
I had a 1994 Dodge van. It was one of the most reliable vans I ever owned. Had well over 200,000 miles. I never lived in it, but went to a lot of 'vanning events' and camping trips with my wife. My latest van is a 1993 Chevy van.
Bless her heart, Karli is such a sweetie pie. Good interview skills Brian. Thanks for sharing.
You have talent for interviews, easygoing and pleasant.
Very humbling to see others much braver than me! You guys are awesome. Safe travels to both!
Great interview on Karli and her rig and enjoyed getting to know her Like her honesty

Thanks Karli for sharing your van with us. Nice and simple conversion. Liked the honest evaluation of living the nomadic lifestyle. Be safe on the road!
Nice set up!
I just bought a 1988 Dodge Ram van with a 318 engine
It’s solid but a project. Love it
Hope to be full time soon
Just keep an eye on the transmission that is the weak point.
Cheers
Great interview Brian! I met Karli at Slab City a couple of months ago and she’s as awesome in person as on cam. Been watching your videos for over a year now. Been in & out of the caravans and people spoke highly of you and the way you camp hosted!
Great Interview!
Really enjoyed this video, thanks Brian and Karli
Great interview! Will get caught up on Karlis' travels soon.
Excellent interview.
It is mind-boggling sometimes the people I follow that know each other. And then I hear their voices on the same video
Love Karli! Great vid. :-)
Thank you Brian and Karli for taking the time to share. Brian I like your attitude..."All part of the adventure lifestyle"....I think being in a mentally good place and seeing things through a positive lens is very empowering while on the road.
I found that to in my trial run, it's not easy by any means. Thanks for the great video. Funny how you said broken down at the side of the road. I was in Va Beach, and got broke down, luckily I had means to be towed, and get it fixed.
Great interview. Nice honest young lady. I’ll check out her channel. Have fun and safe travels to all.
I love her videos and yours as well, she's adorable so very cool to see her on the other side of the camera.
2 good people. Thnx
Nice
Thanks Karli.
Nice interview. Very positive information of life on the road.
Great interview Brian.
I have a 99 dodge van with 188,000 miles on it. The 318 Engine in it is still strong. But I've pit A LOT of money into tho this thing mechanically. I don't live on the road but plan to when the wife retires. I do solo road trips for now. If she hasn't already, I would replace the PCM in that van. They can go out at the drop of a hat with no warning. It's about a $1,000.00 repair but better than being stuck in the middle of nowhere. Great interview
Sherry Designs by Paul Sherry. He sort of invented the conversion van and is kind of famous for it. He's from Piqua, OH which is my home town. I worked for him as an RV sales rep for a few years.
HoboCoastie That is really cool! I tried looking up Sherry designs but couldn’t find anything online.
@@CuriousKarli Everybody was customizing Van's in the 70's. Paul was the first to offer a customized package on new Van's with full warranty. They were built out of Elkhart, Indiana. That's also where most RV manufacturers are located.
@@HoboCoastie The year was 1976... My boyfriend and I had one of those vans. The guys I worked with called it a sin bin! lol

Interesting!
Been watching her for about a year just missed her at the van build nice video
Pretty cool..... yes I'm a subscriber of hers. I also had a 1990 dodge van high top.. so I started watching.. good video Brian take care ..
It's so awesome seeing Karli in one of her videos I miss this part of her life, thanks Brian...
Very cool interview, just subbed her channel, I like her van layout, very practical without being over done. I like the cabinets in the high top, lots of useful storage, the only thing she needs is a 2 gallon pump sprayer with a shower head, a small portable porta potty she can slide under the bed, thanks for sharing Brian, I'm still in the Bahamas on my Dana 24 sailboat, I left Spanish Wells in the Eleuthera Islands and back tracking towards the Berry Islands, actually making a very slow track back to Florida before hurricane season starts....
Karli’s videos are great such a down to earth kid
Karli is a favorite!
Nice interview thanks for sharing
Thumbs up!!

Hi Karli - your Solar system is simple but effective - topmarks . I love your van - again , simpe but effective .
Awesome video. Great intro to Karlie and I just subbed to her channel.
Great advice, thank you.
That is quite possibly the simplest smartest van setup I e seen yet.! Nice setup Carly.
I run a 1983 dodge b250. Mine is not a high-top but, I have acquired one to install sometime soon. I am a mechanic. The mechanics brushing your issues off as a bunch trouble shooting due to age, are just to blowing smoke. Alot of people dony like to work on vans. They think its difficult because the cany jusy plug a computer into it or flip open the hood. Any vehicle that has a problem requires troubleshooting to remedy the issue. Every vehicle. No mattet how old or new. If someone says that to you when you ask if they can repair your van, find a different mechanic. Because the person doesn't want to work on your van, and if he does work on your van,he wont do a good job because he doesn't want to be doing it.
What a beatiful young lady. Thank you for sharing
great interview nice job

Karli is adorable! I hope she is happily still traveling and I will check out her channel.
Good interview, Brian. I'll check out her channel.
People don’t change the transmission fluid, power steering fluid, and radiator fluid which makes the 2nd 100,000 more difficult. Just a suggestion. I didn’t either but changing radiator fluid decreases rusting. Trans fluid vastly prolongs trans life and every 50,000 is good. Power steering change is easiest by most people with a baster and tube sucking old out and new in (about 5 times will refresh the old stuff. Not ideal but easy). So, these basics are what i have learned. Also, keep a spare fan belt and radiator hoses/clamps. Happy vanning Karli.
I don't know these people you speak of. 👍✌
Great Interview! I Love Karli She Is A Sweetheart as with you I never Mis Her Vids!
She has an awesome van!

She has a nice and simple set up, like yours. Great video. The 318 is a great engine don’t let the bs mechanics fool you. I’m driving a 35 year old 318 no issues. Don’t over heat bit and always check your oil.
