DBT are a great band…love their older stuff …they write a lot about disfunctional southern life that’s dead on with the way it is… if you grew up in the south you will get it Lol… but they have went woke with their new albums and that sucks .
I know they've went a more political route with their song writing the last few albums. But to say they "went" woke is a little unfair. Alot of lines from songs in their first three albums show that they've always been that way. Like in "Demonic Possesion" and "The Southern Thing".
