Another solid ass tune by DBT. This album is nearing 20 years old and still rocks harder than 90% of "music" today
One if my favorite dbt songs
So about 4 years ago - I get lit up in bed about midnight. Driving down chippenhram. Turn right on Jefferson Davis
“Their” magnum opus I think you mean. Look; bands, times, things, - change. Forget politics, enjoy the music. DBT still write/record good stuff. (But yeah they were f**k*n great albums 🤘🏽🎸).
The three albums with Isbell were there all time greatest writing and delivery moments. Decoration Day, The Dirty South and A Blessing and a Curse were there magnum opus "Creations Dark" had some really good stuff on it but then it had a number of just bad songs by Hood and one can't help but think replace those bad songs with Isbell's stuff and they would have had four straight amazing gems....these days I can't help but ask " What the hell happened to this band"?....They let themselves get caught up so deep in Hood's politics they let it ruin the band's raw Southern sound and content. I've seen them quite a few times live and still would not mind seeing them again despite them doing so many brainwashed Libtard crap. Yes they are that fun live to overlook that shit and hope they play mostly older stuff.
