@@thewhiterabbituk Anyone can seem remarkable if they abandon all morality and ethics in pursuit of a self-centered goal. This man kicked his wife out of their home and refused to help her financially when she was in and out of the hospital for cancer treatment. He’s disgusting.
The number of times I’ve had “brilliant” ideas that I then was like, “oh, but I can’t persuade that because it would harm others” is many. Sometimes remarkable people aren’t remarkable. Sometimes they’re just psychopaths willing to step on and hurt anyone who gets in their way.

I love this episode! I am 63 years old and for over thirty years I have gone to bed at 9:00, I eat the healthiest diet I know to eat. I grow my own vegetables and fruits. I eat at 8:00 am and try to eat my last meal before 3:00. I exercise everyday and try to move at least 12,000 steps a day. I am incredibly kind to myself, the planet, and others and I wish every individual would be the same. I think that cooperation is key. I want all the destructive harm that is prevalent in our world to just fall away. I want to live. Thank you both very much.

This is the podcast with the biggest plot twist that I have ever experienced. Thank you for this! I've been struggling with depression conciently for 5 years now. I have worked a lot to be in this state of mind. This podcast started with me being very suspicious and reserved and by the end I realised for the first time since I've been on antidepressants that I want to live. I never tried unalive-ing, but it's now the first time that I realised that I want to live. This is a huge milestone and that's why I am thanking you.

I'm still in that depression he describes in the beginning. Mine started at 27, when I realized I was almost 30 and my life was nothing like I ever thought it would be. I have 5 kids. I'm still married. Still living paycheck to paycheck. I depend on my faith and sometimes medication to get thru the very hard moments. Every day is a struggle. I'm too scared to make the drastic changes this man did. Addiction, marital stresses, mental health problems, money, all of it. I hope and pray that one day it will get better. I purposely try to be better every single day. I'm 41 now. Four kids are still in the home, husband isn't able to work, so a lot rides on me. It just has to be better than this one day... Incidentally, one of the most powerful and entertaning shows out in recent times is a French crime drama called Astrid, which portrays an aspergers/autistic spectrum woman and the acting, and the creation of the show really shows the genius level of French drama productions. Truly staggering quality, not that we yanks dn't do ok, but this is next level.

He might feel like he’s 18 but he doesn’t look like it, especially with dyed hair. I’m an actor & choreographer & my MA research included Semiotics (how we convey meaning non-linguistically which includes gestures, posture, vocal tone/pitch/inflection/volume/pace/speed etc) & his physicality & facial expressions & uncomfortable laugh all indicate to me his entire being is built on control. When he says ‘it’s exhilarating’ there’s no posture/gesture merger. That means his thoughts are saying one thing but his vocalization isn’t matched with his physicality.

the biological reality of aging that i don't think he can reverse is the natural sagging of muscles and bone structure especially in his face. no matter how smooth and blemish-free he can make his skin, his face as a whole is still going to age like normal. by asian standards, his face looks about right around mid-40s to early 50s, his physique is the part that looks around 30s.

A lot of his perspective can be gained from having financial security, being physically fit, and opting out of the status game. Once you do that you can extend your time horizon, think deeply, and act coherently. Unfortunately most people are perpetually in crisis mode and makes them impulsive and induces quick-comfort seeking patterns. Absolutely LOVE this particular podcast on so many levels. Bryan Johnson's perspective is fantastic and his intentions pure and true. He is utterly MIND ORIENTED hence his intention to remove the mind from decisions and his perception of perpetual violence towards self. In my reality this is lack of love for self, which stems from operating from the mind only. It is our (humanities) disconnection from our hearts and inability to integrate the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual that this stems from. He is essentially hacking the system through his method. But he is utterly disconnected from Self hence his inability to sense fear when he is quite literally terrified of death, primarily the death of his father. I hope that on this amazing journey of his he is able to reconcile this and surrender to the inevitability of death, which is, ultimately, a change in our state of consciousness. His work is amazing. Your work Steven, is also amazing. LOVE ❤

I feel like Bryan and I are long lost family. Or we are both receiving the same universal signal. As a young woman I became suicidal after the loss of my first child. My solution was to join the military. Either it would straighten me out of get me killed. It did both but not the way i anticipated. I was poisoned by agent Orange and got bit by a lonestar tick. I was plunged headlong into a period of extreme illness.I skimmed the surface of death several times, in the last episode I decided enough, I do want to live. about 4 years into that I met a doctor of Chinese medicine. 10 minutes on his table was life change, path changing. I became his student later I became a DNM specialising as a nutritional symptomologist . I have spent almost every waking hour of my life trying to undo all the previous damage and restore optimal health. Much of what Bryan has said in this interview resonates in this interview. Currently my chronological age is 56. I take zero prescription meds and in my last blood tests I have gotten younger despite entering menopause. Through recent MRI tests some conditions disappeared. I am not as domineering with my life style as he is with my family. But it is sometimes a conflict for my husband and children to deal with my shall we call them idiosyncrasies. I thoroughly enjoyed this interview. I would like to see Bryan and David Sinclair together in an interview. Also now I am a subscriber of both you and Bryan. I thought this was mainly SAD! He seems so worried about dying and staying healthy so he won't die that he's forgotten to live! There's a saying, "it's not the years that you live but about the life in your years!" Seven years ago, I almost died of a heart attack at 43. At that time, I was constantly worrying about my health or lack of it! I was spending a lot of money and doing my own research as well to be healthy. I still almost died while other people trash their health and have long relatively healthy lives. I learned through my experience to take care of yourself but also to mainly think about what matters which is family and friends and those in need. Make the most of the years your given with the ones you love. Don't dwell on death, LIVE! when it's your time to go, leave the ones you love with peace in their hearts that YOUR okay with going when it's your time. I believe because of God's plan of Heaven for us that this isn't 'IT'. I have a home in Heaven with no sickness, death or dying. He has some good points though.

This interview will stick around with me for a long time. The first half of the interview with Bryan I had a tremendous amount of empathy for him and I felt sad because I didn't think he was living; then I realized that was my judgement of him and his answer surprised me when you asked him "are you happy?" Then the second half of the interview I still continued with my empathy for Bryan because I cannot imagine how difficult it is to be so different from society, receiving judgement constantly but yet feel so strongly and passionately about his purpose and mission. I could not live the way he does, I may be inspired to make modifications to improve my health but the way he is choosing to live is too extreme for me and I'm guessing, most of the population.
His philosophy of not dying and wanting to live forever is so different from mine. On RUclips I frequently watch near death experiences and out of body experiences which I believe have helped me on my spiritual journey and I don't believe living is where's it's really at; I believe we are here to love and learn and this channel has been amazing for my learning! I'm happy to question if my belief stems from my religious background or is it what I truly believe in. To be honest, life after death is what I truly do believe in, I cannot imagine my life without faith in God. I am happy to continue pondering and I appreciate Steven interviewing a guest whom has such a different perspective than most of us.

I think this is really a difficult thing to do and also so simple. And your words were a kind and very well placed wake up call. So thank you. I hope you are and stay well wherever you are.

I agree-I watch NDEs and STEs and listen with an open mind, some don’t feel authentic but there are gems 💎 and DOAC is one of the few non spiritual I follow-it nice to see someone like me here- and i think we all need spiritual motivation to be more driven to LIVE and live better. If we followed the blueprint who knows the clear channels we would all become so much healthier and more connected in pure thinking rather than delusions/addiction.

It's not life after death its life after life just in a different energy and no pain 😊

@@maryharris8939yes, the energy will remain, but your body will disintegrate and become something else. Why do people believe that their consciousness/personality will survive? I've seen enough people fall victim to organic brain damage from accidents/cancer/strokes to know that who we are, our memories and personalities, sense of humor, etc is organic in nature. Brain damage can completely change who you are. And if your memories and personality cannot remain after death, its sort of pointless if anything else survives. I believe the experience we have after death is identical to the one before birth. Nothingness. Some people find the thought of the universe going on without them in it to be terrifying, so they invent scenarios that might get around this problem

And I thought I was hardcore and weird! What he's missed though is the holistic value of going rogue, living on the edge, taking a risk, eating the desserts , having fun with friends and intimacy with a soul mate ….thats life giving years without question... cheers 🍻

      This guy is totally crazy!
The only time I havnt enjoyed life is on hangover days, and the night before (usually epic in some way) always made up for the hangover days.
      I'm 65 now.
Wouldn't want to live like this guy for one minute!

The last quest's question and answer made me cry, thinking about so many that don't feel the need to prioritize true life, including myself. This imterview will be on my mind for a long time.

The interviewer has gained a newfound respect from me with how transparent and genuinely he interacted with his guest. My first encounter with one of his videos made me wonder if he was kind of arrogant, and this video, amongst other great videos have reassured me of his kindness. I think different like this man, and it is a breath of fresh air when people aren’t interjecting every two minutes making it hard to continue a line of thinking just bc they have a mental block to thoughts that I have. People reject different and I’m weird so ppl reject me sometimes.

I think Bryan would do well to dive into research on intrusive thoughts. He clearly has them, intermingled with anxiety, depression, and heightened analytical thinking. I recognize attributes in various family members when Bryan describes how his thinking and mind and emotions work together. I believe he would have found benefit from intense exposure therapy when he was younger. I hope he finds what he is looking for as he navigates this life.

He's doing what he thinks he can do, that makes him happy, and good for him though I think his wounds are very deep and not healed, very distant.
