Nothing wrong w.not wanting to pay child support. Everything should be equal. No money should exchange hands. If one parent doesnt make as much thats on them.
I just when to December 12 my baby father served me January 4th timeshare pagers so he won’t have to pay child support. He unstable and I don’t want my child in that unstable environment I told him he can come and see my child anytime he wants. He never came by . I’m scared the judge might grant him timesharing. Help me 😢
In Florida, the Father needs to have his paternal rights established, but yes he can obtain timesharing with the child. It's not automatic in Florida if the parties are not married. Every state is going to be a little bit different, but overall when you are married there are more rights that are granted to the parents. So short answer, in Florida, if the Father does what he needs to do by the law, yes the Mother will have to share custody with the Father. Thanks for the question!
The laws want to make sure that parents are looking out for the best interests of the child, not just about the money. So no, the judges normally do not want someone to ask for more time just to pay less child support. Thank you for the question!
Florida’s laws on 50-50 timesharing have changed dramatically since this video was made. Here is a more recent video about the massive overhaul to timesharing laws in Florida: The Truth About Equal Custody in Florida ruclips.net/video/wUTJSRLD_1w/видео.html
Yeah yeah, incentive the other parent to be less successful.. you have your money I have mine. Take care of you end and I’ll take care of mine. It’s a law to keep on getting money for the courts nothing more
You people are pure evil, just trying to steal money from parents. If yoy want the authority over the kid, you should pay for it. Its simple. No money needs to exchange hands. Its not in the best intrest of the kid for families to break up because mommy gets a check with her new man. We know child support is really mommy support. If she canr raise it, then she needs to give up custody. Stop acting like luxuries are in childrens best intrest, your just causing mire divisions, fights and costs from the parents
Good question! Thank you! So in Florida, as that is where our firm is located, children that are borne to parents outside of a marriage have different laws for custody, than to children borne within a marriage. Some cases seem to suggest that a stranger would have as many rights to the child as the Father does (this is shocking to some people sometimes) until the Father establishes paternity and a timesharing schedule is ordered by the Court. So there are drastically different laws in Florida between married parents and non-married parents. But in reality it's better to try to work with the other parent as much as possible, as they will be in the child's life for not just 18 years (but for the rest of their lives) and starting out on the wrong foot early, we've seen makes things worse later.
So question. I’m in NJ ,what if I get sent to court for child support after ending a long relationship .not married but been living together with two kids . I make let’s say 80,000 + yr she makes very low amount but I ask for 50/50 how much will I pay ….

How about two people who never lived together. Just had a couple of dates and boom she's pregnant does she have to share custody with him
