beautiful flares and colors in this - the mountains and the vistas are breathtaking - how do you like using the FX3 with the helios and takumar overall? By the way, I've recently crafted a cinematic video capturing the winter atmosphere in New York. If you don’t mind, I'd appreciate you stopping by Marcel
Thanks Giovanni! Really enjoyed your piece! Overall it's certainly a different experience compared to shooting with modern lenses but I'd say it makes you more intentional about what you're shooting. The focus throw of the Helios is fairly long but also allows for fine adjustments. Nailing focus can be tough but the result is worth it. The Takumar is far easier to handle with it's f/3.5 aperture and the flares are just as interesting.
That is the Super Takumar 28mm f/3.5. People tend to ignore this one since bokeh isn't as prominent but the beautiful flares more than make up for this in my opinion. If you want to see more have a look at the music video for "Jump in the Sea" on my channel, where I used this one extensively (you'll recognize the flares).
Wauw the lens flares are amazing, superb job👍
Thanks a lot!

I love the flare in that first seconds of this video. Absolutely gorgeous... Is that 44-2?

@@MarcelGlas that make sense coz if it was from 44-2 I would notice the characteristics of its flare, surely I'll check the video.
