Bought this recently, after my Vizio bar on my older one started locking up. The Vizio had been great and put in a few years for me. Financially, I wasn't in a place to lay down big money on a new system. I didn't even know Hisense made this sort of setup. I am a Hisense fan as far as TVs go. They have great quality at great prices. So I found this one like in your video and thought, may as well. Setup was super easy. I was actually blown away by the sound. Sure it's not one of those high end systems but, I think it sounds amazing and even better than the Vizio I had previously. I think per the money, this setup is an unbeatable deal.
I have this soundbar ax-5100g but i send it back for refund because the dialog com from center speaker of the sound and from rear speakers else well in the manual i can not find how to turn it of
To get rid of the beeping sound overnight, at the remote control, press the middle button for more than three seconds, menu comes up, scroll to “beep” scroll up to switch to “off”.
for the rear speaker power issue, you could just install them on smart switches, then if you have a smart tv too with alexa etc, you can just say TV on or whater and it will start the tv and turn the rear speakers back on
There is no way you would break even on the cost a smart switch with the savings on electricity even over years of usage. Small LEDs like that do not use much electricity
@@computermdms It was less about the price of electricity more about getting rid of the flashing blue light. It was one of his small issues from the video
Iv been such a big fan of hisense but had to change to Samsung... hisense hardware is good but the local software and local software support is useless
Hi, I got this system yesterday and running it through eArc. However, I'm getting dialogue playing through the rear speakers when in surround mode. For example, the sound bar will say DTS but it's clearly outputting stereo. Happens in apps like Netflix but also my Xbox Series X. Any help?
I had a soundbar with auto shut off and I can't begin to describe how much I hated it. It would appear that it is not the soundbar for me. Thanks for the review I would have ended up setting it on fire.😂

Great review. Quick question though, do the rear speakers connect to the sound bar via bluetooth or you need to run a cable from the sound bar to the rear speakers?
Thanks for watching! They are connected via Bluetooth but there is a cable connecting each of the back speakers to one another. So they don't need to be wired to the soundbar, only to one another.

Hi, I want one advise, I have Hisense AX3100G soundbar with subwoofer, but 2 small speakers that usually comes with Hisense AX5100G model. Is there any way to connect these rear spakers with AX3100G?
I have them and they sound like absolute garbage, as an audiophile who listens to music a lot with Sony headsets and who is used to high quality Bluetooth speakers , I got this for the aesthetics and also for casual listening in the the living room and I was 100% disappointed, I have Hisense tv, fridge, ac, microwave and they all perform well so I got the soundbar and bought the most expensive of their soundbar I could see only to get 100% disappointment, it buzzes a whole lot, I can’t even listen to music at above 50%, the sound is just loud for no reason and soo distorted😩, then if you change to music mode it goes all quite and starts sounding muffled, I stayed like 1 hour trying to get myself to listen to music with it and I couldn’t still, it was sounding like all shades of wrong to me, so I went back to my portable speakers, the sound bar is still in the parlor for aesthetic reasons tho because it looks very beautiful but you see for sound quality it is a no no for me, except if you would listening to music at extremely low volumes
It sounds awesome on my pc, via digital out but utter trash on my TV.... I don't understand... On tv there's no bass or anything So I just use it on my pc and listen to tv as is...

Hi! You’ll have to use the HDMI via eARC for Dolby Atmos to work. Its bandwidth requirement is too high for it to be transmitted via Bluetooth. Perhaps that will change in the future but this model needs HDMI.
Can’t recommend this one. I bought it very excited, for a fair price (520$ in CZ) I didn’t like the sound at all! For listening to music its a no no. The soundbar just doesnt sound clear, and the subwoofer is just too much. Had to change modes constantly to sound ok! Movies sounded like crap, voices were shit. Constant turning down the bass and playing with the treble 200x a night. Maybe if i lived in a house, but in a apartment its not suitable, the bass is very strong, which is not a bad thing, but neighbours will hate you. The application was bad, couldn’t even set it up, firmware update failed. Looks are avarage. Big No! Drove it back to the store the next day, bought the Sonos Arc soundbar and could’t be happier. Sonos has a clear sound, nice app, voice controls and looks better. Sure, maybe without the subwoofer its not as loud, but can’t use that in a house anyway. I would recommend to stay away from this one
Xbox should detect it. You’ll enable it in the system settings on the console. Be sure the soundbar is connected via eARC to get this working. Disney plus I’m not sure. If you’re in SA, Disney+ doesn’t support Dolby Atmos here. It’s only stereo (sad face).

Not impressed with the subwoofer it's very boomy even with the bass turned down fully. theres no subwoofer adjustment on the remote , you have to put a soft cloth in the porthole to deaden it..
Hi there, I was wondering if you ever had the issue with the sound bar putting sound out of the rear speakers for non 5.1 sound (e.g. pro logic simulated) I purchased the 5.1.2 model today to compare to my Vizio M series since the Hisense was marketed as having 2 top speakers. Anyway I didn't find the sound was handled correctly, got sound out of the rear speakers when there shouldn't be, and on 5.1 movies the center channel didn't come out of the center channel. Either I got a defective unit, or Hisense has bad defaults that can't be changed. Either way mine is going back, and I'm going back to the Vizio which has much better sound quality and reproduction. If you know how to fix the issues above, i'm willing to try them before it's picked up tomorrow for return.
I think it’s the way they handle the sound tbh. The back speakers always have sound coming out. It upscales non 5.1 to subtle sounds at the back and when 5.1 plays, plays it correctly. As for the lack of center channel, that definitely shouldn’t be happening. Likely a defect.

sound quality is important and this thing is kak for the price. dont expect quality with cheap soundbars under 10k unfotunately. or buy second hand yamaha/denon/harman kardon
Just ordered this going to cancel now its advertised as rear speakers being wireless, looking at this vid theres wires all over them. Even pics on website show no wires what a rip off, time to cancel.
Probably won’t matter any more, surely you’ve made a different choice already, but the rear speakers are wireless in the sense they don’t context to the soundbar. They require power and as such one connects to power and they connect between themselves. No forward going cables. Maybe still not what you expected, maybe you want a full wireless read speaker solution (try the Majority Everest 5.1), but these are wireless in terms of audio connection…
You all made a mistake. The real soundbar is the Hisense 7.1.2 Dolby atmos U5120GW+ Thats the true beast. Even won EISA 2022-2023 best home theater soundbar. 14 speaker soundbar. 180 Watts subwoofers. Two rear speakers.
I didn't experience this sorry. Do you notice it across all sound? Have you tried doing a sound test without the TV, Maybe through Bluetooth on your phone. That way you can see if it is the TV connection causing the delay or the wireless speakers.

you can turn off the auto standby, and turn on auto resume in settings
The subwoofer and rear speakers, after a few seconds of searching for a disabled soundbar, are also turned off.

Both netflix and Xbox has their own audio settings
Set you tv audio settings to pass through, should fix it.

You can turn off auto shutdown and/or enable auto wake... and also disable the sound feedback.... There is a menu....

You should have to only pair it once. Then when you select BlueTooth again it would just connect.

Hi! You’ll have to use the HDMI via eARC for Dolby Atmos to work. Its bandwidth requirement is too high for it to be transmitted via Bluetooth. Perhaps that will change in the future but this model needs HDMI.

My 3100 model switches off every 20minutes while playing on all modes. I have to turn on again every time. Is there any fix?

Hold the middle button down for about 3 seconds then navigate the menu to bass boost and turn it off 👍🏻
Does this Soundbar turn itself off when No sound and switch on when sound is coming from TV??
Yes there is a power saving mode that detects when no sound is coming out. It is quite annoying, to be honest and I wish you could turn it off.

Not sure tbh. There has to be something in the manual explaining this. Perhaps look in the troubleshoot section. Wish I could help.

The RCA cable is about 4 meters long. The power cable is a standard 1.2m cable.

It is called DARK on Netflix. If you watch Season 1 Episode 2, this scene starts at 28:25 and gives you a great sense of Dolby Atmos.

Yes it does. You'll need to unplug them or turn off the plug in order for them to stop flashing the light.

Does it have dolby vision pass through?
No, There's no HDMI passthrough at all on this soundbar. Only HDMI in.
How is subwoofer, does it pack a punch or is it just meh?
It’s pretty good hey. I enjoyed music on it. It didn’t overpower stuff either. A nice balance

The fact is the speakers don't turn off. Taping the lights doesn't change that.
