The new scythe feels like having heat vision against the smaller bugs with hunters and scavengers either dying instantly to the laser or a second after from the flame.
I'll have to give it a go, the laser cannon was good before and now it's even better. The dagger is actually pretty good too. The scythe before felt kinda like holding a magnifying glass to the sun to try and kill a giant to me but it actually looks fun now too.
I find lazer weapons to be S tier for boys from sniping with a pistol alone getting headshots. Even the AT walkers the head peaking at the top makes them feel obsolete to me
Finally we truly feel powerful but the game is still challenging And FINALLY the stupid big shrimps can be killed by every support weapon, it made NO SENSE that a .50 caliber machine gun, a 20mm autocannon and a damn LASER CANNON SO POWERFUL IT HAS A VISIBLE BEAM couldn't pierce their carapaces
Devs really said "fuck it everything is op now so everything is meta" 😂 this is what it was supposed to be from the start. Just pure fun shredding bugs and bots.
That is how everything should be. Nothing should be "meta" as everything should be viable. Now don't get me wrong the weapons should have strengths and work better against certain enemies so there is reason to switch things up between different enemy factions but no weapon should actively be "the best".
Except its not op. I played 5 games vs bots on Helldive, we extracted 2 out of 5. The game throws alot more hulks at u now, but also gives u the means to deal with them. I absolutely love it
Yeah I already liked the patriot though I wish it had more rockets but the emancipator felt rubbish before. Now it's pretty awesome, I just now feel like they need a better damage indicator and to add more uses and/or a way shorter CD. 10 mins is stupid.
I hope they figure out how to load 16 mechs on the map without the game crashing. Once we have 4 different mechs available the first thing I'm gonna do is mech-max!
One thing I’ve noticed is how much more variety we have now. Not just in weapon strategems, but other strategems too. When you don’t have to worry about bringing railcannon strike or 500kg every time, it really opens up doors

Autocannon right now is killer. Flam-66 is goofy and fun to use. I tried the rail gun, but I didn't enjoy using it. HMG smacks hard. Zero ammo, though (just bring supply pack). Normal Liberator is so much fun. Concusive kinda blows, needs a minor increase to RoF(from 360 to 450), would work stellar.
I wasn't a fan of pre-nerf railgun because I felt like I was either missing shots (PS5 player) or blowing myself up in unsafe mode. It could end up being a meta weapon again, but weapons with splash damage, like the grenade launcher and flame thrower, will always be present for the less accurate divers out there. I reckon it'll balance out after a while.

Orbital gas might have been nerfed with lower damage but the confusion on the enemies is like a 5x damage increase since they no longer just run out of the cloud right at you they are much more likely to blindly stumble around in the cloud. When I used it and threw on a breaches I somewhat often got 30-40 kill streaks, its very good.
They buffed so many weapons that needed it. Even the Lib.Concussive feels strong now! Also they made the Sickle sound good and the Scythe ACTUALLY good!
I enjoyed the lib concussive before because of the stagger property. Now they've bumped up the mag size to 60 it feels like a reliable tool for pushing into bug nests. Balancing out lower power for less reloads feels like the right move.
My friend that hasn’t played since before escalation of freedom had fun, we were both using the same spear and gatling with breaker and it felt like launch again. Hard but fun
My favorite gun now for bugs is the Scythe. It's so good. Also, I love the rr now. Being able to 1 shot anything given you headshot is so nice for high difficulty
I combo this with a torcher primary and something funny is that i think the torcher can bust through the leg armour of a charger faster than the las cannon

The guns and gameplay feel great. Now I’m wondering if I’m struggling on helldive after coming back from a few months break when helldive was a cakewalk because I suck, or because they massively increased the number of enemies that spawn and bug breaches.
I loved the scythe before but it's so good to see it get some love. Still think it needs 3 pen but I'll take it. The pistol even seems much better, iv carried it alot lately

What they should have always been. Though im still not really a fan of the gas strike changes it was fine at crowd control already. It got rid of all the small and medium enemies just fine
@@FazeParticles I don't know about after today's patch, but at some point of time they made it to where it was not very accurate against Titans. It would often miss or hit the keg where before the majority of the beam would focus on the body.
@@GameGod77One thing I noticed quite a while back is tbe laser no longer stays on the titan's back. It misses a lot. It used to not do that. I haven't tested it since last Tuesday's patch. I always found that to be stupid as it still accurately places the hot beam on a charger's back.
@@Oznerol1234 Eruptor is amazing but sluggish,rewards your patience. Crossbow can be shoot one handed as well Grenade pistol lets you completely forget about grenades. Thats what demolition has to offer
How the fuck do you people enter strategem combos so fast? How do you do it while walking too? My WASD is disabled while the menu is open (as the directions are WASD bound) and the game doesnt register 60% of my inputs if i go faster than 1 direction per half second. Every youtuber ive seen has the strat finished before the menu even renders on screen.
macros and/or changing stratagem inputs to arrow keys + opening stratagem menu with a press instead of hold (e.g. walk with WASD, opening menu by pressing CTRL, input stratagem using arrows keys with other hand)
On default for PC the inputs for entering the stratagems are the same as WASD so you can't move while the menu is opened. I changed my settings to entering stratagems through my arrow keys so I can move while also entering them. In terms of speed, well that's just lots of play time, muscle memory and stratagem hero, haha.
This game got way too easy. Helldive feels like Normal mode. I have 2 builds I like to use and I was holding lines and taking down everything and anything without moving from my spot. Before the patch, I had to pace backwards a few 50 feet. Big difference.

Yes and no. I have been seeing a LOT of rail guns recently. More than usual, almost as many as launch. Which isn't "bad", but I don't like it.

It still kills them just fine, but the extra CC effects now will also affect larger enemies instead of just tickling them with damage
@@whaleborne1308 It also prevents hunters from immediately hopping out of the gas cloud so now you kill hunter swarms more consistently
I giess the adjudicator is in a good spot. No direct buff. Just that armor matchs do mkre damage.

It's one of the few things that didn't need a buff. Honestly I'm happy with it as is because it's always been a powerful option.

Scythe is still garbage. Better than before but still trash for bugs. Probably much better for bots because of its distance capabilities.
