I can confirm FLACKO has stolen a few inventory's yesterday. My friend got scammed by him out of most of his items (RIP). You can see them in the inventory. The huntsman, the m4a1s hyperbeast, the ak frontside misty and more were all his.

Your friend is part of the problem, the more people get scammed the more scammers arise. If no one gets scammed then it’s not worth it for the scammers
@@lambs62 He wasnt looking to get scammed. The point of the scam is that the person doesnt know he is getting scammed but the point you make implies that people are looking to get scammed, which obviously isnt the case.
Although if people were more educated about how the scams worked that would reduce the amount of scammers, but there will never be none at all. They always figure out something to get into peoples wallets... or csgo inventories.

Most of these +rep comments come from „rep for rep“ groups where you +rep one of them and they in return +rep your profile aswell

I literally got added by some guy with a level 100 steam level, wanting to trade with me today. He wanted to trade my knife for one of his and actually had a stattrak fn howl on his account. We got in conversation and he said he wanted to know some details of my knife and I had to login to some random 3rd party website. I told him I didnt trust it and he said he understood and unfriended me.
Yea like what it your skin id right? Hahahaha, for my scammer, i just gave a random 4 digit number so he asked for proof, so i asked him, 'do u not trust me? I own the knife not u', then he unfriended and blocked me. Really a bunch of cowards and pussies out there trying to scam people then blocking them after the scam goes unsuccessful
I get these comments all the time in my profile. They are usually steam level 20+ and they have ALWAYS a custom artwork.

It's sad how many groups like this are out there and scamming for thousands each day.. I've found another group of about 15 scammers who were making up to 3k a day. They will do anything and everything to get you're skins. Their locations were traced back to Aqaba Jordan. Some of them seem to have souls as I have talked to them all though it is very few. Sadly most will go as far as to say that their daughters have died or that they have brain cancer and need your help. These people are despicable and a stain on society.

People keep attempting to scam me because of my inventory, I usually let them do their script and just waste as much time of theirs as i can, call them out, report them and give them a big ol block, gotta love how many times i have been texted the exact same thing from different people

Got scammed for the first time by a level 160, 16 year steam account. Offered me like 30$ over market for my turtle gloves when I was just starting out with skins and was only aware of like the obvious scams. Completely turned me off to person to person trades and I've only traded through bots since. Really unfortunate.

The best way I look to determine if an account is a scam is by date stamps. Those profile comments are all on the same day / within a week. Look at achievement’s too, you can really see if they are online vs playing.
Thanks for this, it's important that everyone knows about all of theses scams. I got scammed and I hope no one else experiences what I had to go through.

im convinced that instead of this being some sort of gang bang with a lot of people working together, but actually just 1 person running running heaps of different accounts, and yeah maybe theres like 2 or 3 guys working together with a bunch of accounts for each person
I bought a knife last week and I have been getting so many scam adds, I can't even count them anymore.

If u canceled a trade for once (maby wanna gamble on a site) you will most likely receive another trade from the same looking profile. The secund one is a scamm bot copying the "real" bot. NEVER accept the second offer if you dont get anything out of the trade you try to complete!

Another big red flag is friendslist, many of these scammers have very few steam friends, and those friends are most likely scammers as well.

Spam +rep trusted in scam accounts
Private inventory and rep comments confirm a scammer. All I had to do was getting a nice knife to learn that. They're relentless
yep more and more of my friends on steam are geting their accounts stollen and then the scammers send me those meeseges. its sad :(
And dont click on those links or your accounts will be stolen aswell I checked some links and their IP s are all around the world or just jusing VPNs.
Someone invited me to play in a “beginner tournament” and linked me a site that wanted me to login to my steam account. Nowadays that old window inside a window trick is pretty recognizable, but I was curious about where this dude got his picture (it was actually a well developed pic for a gaming clan). Did a reverse image search and found it listed on EVERY stock photo website you could think of, and after a second look at it I noticed he didn’t even remove the 123rf watermark😂

Thanks for sharing, there is a surge in number of players recently and most of them are not aware about these scam method, however old they are. It will be a really good guide for them.

You missed some points, the first guy had all achievements and about 3000 hours on csgo, you can use simple applications to immediately unlock all achievements and gain hundreds of hours on steam games without really doing anything, its very simple if you just know how to use these applications.
Next is the badges and levels, most of those guys had high levels and many badges, this is even easier done than the hours. There are many bots that will give you loads of badges for just a few dollars. Then all of these cheap badges will make you level up extremly fast

Got scammed yesterday by a friend. He took away my inventory for money and than cancelled transaction.

I have 12 pages of +rep on my account... Anybody who's been trading for years will have a lot of them. If you're trying to figure out if a person is a scammer or not, check the dates of the +rep. Many scam account have a ton of them in very short spans of time.
Lmao. Some new scammer did a scam wrong and accidentally gave me his driver gloves lunar weave (minimal wear) and he begged me to give it back to him. Obviously I never did and I reported his account. I sold the gloves btw.

I think us viewers should flood their profile with 'scammer' comments.
Wouldn't supprise me if they all get deleted after a short time if that many pop up all of a sudden. If nessecary, they'll write a script that auto removes every comment that is not from one of their scammer-friends.

The Flacko guy, I'm not so sure he's a scammer. His level is 200+, he has the golden profile stuff which you have to pay for and only lasts 30 days. I dont understand how you can call someone a scammer just based off of their comments.
Nope, he is a scammer. My friend got scammed by him just yesterday. You can see some of his items in the vid. The huntsman urban masked, m4a1s hyperbeast, frontside misty and the rest of the valuables from his account are there.
So yes he is 100% a scammer.

I wanted to mention something that happend to me I told a guy I didn’t want to trade with him because I knew he was a scammer. He either had a ton of bot accounts or scammer friends they all reported me and I lost all my skins and I’m trade banned now. Idk how to deal with this if it happens to you but be careful out there

I lost a deagle blaze and awp assimov w/ an ibp holo on it to a scammer with a level 300 steam account and thousands of +reps. This was in like 2014-15. Wasn't worth as much back then but thinking about it now hurts.

I got scammed just yesterday for 15 dollars. We even spoke on discord, shared screens to make the trade but in the end, it showed there was an error for him and he blocked me on Discord and Steam as well.

Great job mate. I have on a daily base messages where people invite me to play tournaments for money on fake sites. One of them was so good, with official valve and steam logos, game and razr logos. If you’re not looking behind the site(code). You’ll think it’s legit and sign in with your steam account. Please make a vid about this too man.

Since I sold all my skins prior to csgo market crash the amount of scammers inviting or writing on my profile has fallen drastically! I used to get 2 or 4 daily. Now I'm once again starting to pick up and store some skins, mostly junk at around 1-2$, and surprisingly enough scammers are tyring to approach me again D:
Though so far only poor low effort scammers. One tip that I recommend is also checking their badges. Despite having all those high levels you'll find that they crafted most of their badges on the same day and time, not to mention most of the badges are from crapware and shovelware tier games and surprisingly enough not many of them even crafted a csgo badge (which is probably the one of the most crafted out there with the tf2 one) despite being in the "csgo trading".
Heck, out of the 117 badges I crafted, 5 or so are from crapware and I have mostly crafted them a lot of years ago or during sales.
I recently got a sent a link from an account that looked so legit. Comments were fine. Hours and amount of games were fine. He even had social media that had followers and frequent posts. And sent me a skin baron link that looked IDENTICAL the only way I realised was that I couldn't change the currency on their website. Their really getting good at this

Yeah I got more and more of those recently. The "present for you" one was funny. Account was online, sent a scam link, called out, and went offline. Awe.
Probably though it was just a coincidence they went offline.
I also liked when I bought a knife, suddenly this flock of assholes appeared, wanting me to join their team to play some tournament standing in for somebody. I hated it so much that I just sold everything and now no one wants me to play anymore :D
The reason they use the excuse of scammers monitoring the comment sections is because, at least within Tf2 trading a lot of high tier traders experience the same with bots insta adding to scam you the moment you comment. Just makes it seem more believeable also means they don't have someone comment they're a scammer while their mid scam.
i will never understand how people can fall for these obvious scams, even in 2016 when i was younger i never understood how people can fall for these obvious scams, and these fake girl accounts are so ankward, i always get goosebumps due to the cringe.
I got scammed twice, first time in 2016 when I didn't know about scams and now API scam off of SWAP.GG in 2020. I guess live and learn too bad steam doesn't care about its customers .

I added by a guy (lvl 100's steam) like 6 months ago, with exactly same profile shown in this video and is suspicious.
1. Those +rep and the comment from level 100's with luxury profile but not in the friend list
2. He don't accept any trading or buying from steam market, only accepting paypal/bitcoin/bitskins,etc.
At some point this guy wants my Redline and Desolate Space for money that he is offering, I decline it and he is mad at me for no reason. Saying I tried to scam him because not accepting his offer. How can valve didn't take any actions to this kind of thing??

I feel like my steam profile is a red flag now... no custom artwork, but screenshots of knives and skins. I dont have them to make people think im a scammer. My inventory is public, i've got nothing to hide... Its just a nice thing to look at and think "hey, i remember when i traded for that skin, i cant believe i used to own one". I've set up my profile in such a way for my own personal reasons, Ive put a lot of time and money into trading and made some very good profit from it. I just want to log my trading journey.
Saved me because right after i finished watching a video a guys ask me for trade and there profile looked the same as the video. saved me some money there
The constant +rep does not always mean a scammer, I'm friends with a high level trader that trades 10 knives a day so he gets a lot of +rep left on his profile. He owns 250 knives though so yeah.
What i get from this video is that you can make a fortune creating custom artwork for scammers
In short... always check the inventory... when they have no expensive skins they are not to be trusted to trade them expensive skins

I had baited a scammer some time back . I had wasted his for like 3-4hrs in the chat and finally turned the down the scam.
