    why do people keep using Phillips bits? the Robertson is far superior. it lasts way longer, the bit doesn't slip nearly as much, and u don't need a magnetic bit to hold the screw on the bit.

      Caleb VeeDub I'd recommend the Miketa bits

      Wera is far better

    • @mihkus
      @mihkus 6 лет назад

      Hitachi makes by far the best bits, One TX30 lasted me a year. You lose them before they wear out or break. Same with Makita gold, Wera has stupid shape. You cant grind the tip down in lenght, with hitachi you can grind it down 3 times and its still useable.

    How do you open and close the chuck, I can close it by holding it and pressing drill but I cant open it?

    • @Griesinho
      @Griesinho 3 года назад

      just the other way around: change the direction and it will open; or you turn it by hand (open/close is printed on the drill)

    I'm looking for the everyday home jobs to drill woods, hanging frames, bathroom, installation od lighting equipments, drilling on woods and etc. Can this one able to drill on the walls? and even on concrete walls ? will u suggest me to buy this?

    • @philmyers6234
      @philmyers6234 6 лет назад

      You won't have any problems with general duty jobs, I used mine the other day to drill 2 " deep holes ( hammer action) in to solid concrete floor. eazy peazy. No problem for the drill

    • @roslee7
      @roslee7 6 лет назад

      thanks bro but the price kinda expensive

    • @philmyers6234
      @philmyers6234 6 лет назад

      yes , but for a makita cordless combi drill this is probably the best for price/torque. you could always go for a powerful corded drill for half the price. Depends what you want/need

    Hi, I have an identical drill like this. It seems to work fine, but I see that mine has a little play on the chuck backward and forward in every setting I could make. Is that normal ? Thank you.

    It's not middle of the road, I have two and it's no different from the most expensive top end drill they make 481 just with out the digital display for the settings, this is one of the best drills you can get in 2021 bar the new Makita GXT range but hardly much difference in performance and GXT is heavier and not compatible with the LXT battery system.

      My dhp482 is from romania and while its a fantastic tool that was worth every euro, there isn't much of a difference in power between speed 1 and 2. Anyone know why that is.

      The DHP482 has a brushed motor. Makita have brushless combi drills too. Here is a video looking into the brushless DHP485: ruclips.net/video/Se5Dxbn2Y8U/видео.html

    Not helpful. Why no demo of drilling into stone/concrete? People do use these for that.

    Chuck not worth a crap, and bearing fails at back of armature, causing brushes to melt into casing, warranty not worth s..t

  • @ktmidol
    @ktmidol 6 лет назад

      They rip ya off on the batteries more than anything. Each one of those boxes of angry pixies has 10 Japanese 18650 cells in it. The cells in those batteries alone can run you up 60+ quid, and the kit comes with two of them. If you already have all that they do sell the drill only as well.
