  • this is one of Makitas entry level drills. They don't withstand much abuse. But a good general use drill for light work.

    Thanks for the video. My exact same model gave up, overheated and died. Now at least I have a chance to repair it myself.
    It´s suppose to have a workload-protection but I guess that didn´t help LOL

    These models are really bad. In general I am not very happy with Makita drills except for the battery operated SDS. I literally have a room filled with makita power tools so I will stay with my brand.
