It's pretty subtle how araki remembers of kakyoin ,one exemple is when koichi gets kira first in his stomach ( like kakyoin) and jotaro just gets up all fucked up to beat kira

Kakyoin was the one Crusader that DIO always took seriously, given how clever he was (best example was against Mannish Boy and Death 13). The one time the 20-Meter Emerald Splash would have actually worked, but he didn’t realize about DIO’s timehax until after he already got donuted. That’s the ONLY reason he died. And even then, he at least gave Joseph a message about that in his final moments. RIP Noriyaki “Cherry Boi” Kakyoin. Your sacrifice has not gone unrewarded; the other Crusaders would have lost if it wasn’t for you.

@@soapybread I don't think kakyoins was the most saddest these guys where the saddest because of the moments around everything, I mean abachio was a person who had to live with the fact that he was a dirty cop and that's why his cop/friend died then when he dies and goes to heaven his partner said he did a good job and that he helped everyone. Narancha when he died everyone was shocked, he was like the kid of the group and him dying shocked everyone because it was out of nowhere. His stand FLEW along the clouds basicly saying he was in heaven, his friend the person who taught him who found him at his lowest of lows looked back like he knew something was wrong, and he was never even part of the group at the time. And we all know why butiratis death is sad. Kakyoins is not the saddest death by far.
I was watching this with my father and he usually doesn't care when a character died but when he saw Hierophant Green struggling to do a Emerald splash he felt bad (same when iggy died)

I watched that a week after my dog died. Iggy, a dog who looks very similar to my own, and Kakyoin, one of the only characters I could ever call a favorite, dying? It broke me for weeks.

Imagine being a homeless man and staring at one 17 year old boy posing on a building and posing while another man is throwing his arms all over the place, until suddenly the 17 year old gets launched back with a hole in his stomach as the older man is floating in mid air
Kakyoin only kind of saw it happen the one time before he died. When the people are getting punched by Star Platinum, it would feel like a bunch of hits, at exactly the same time. That would make it easier to compare it to the feeling of time stopping. And its correlation that he died trying to figure it out. He would've been able to figure it out even if he didn't die. There are a TON of differentiating factors that go into this. Also Dio would've just instantly killed them in most cases when time was stopped.

I love the idea of Dio honoring Kakyoin's death by helping in the song honestly. Not only was Kakyoin the first Crusader to engage with him before Jotaro, he was the only Stand user *ever* close to touching him, with the only exception being Hol Horse, who would have surely died if he would've pulled the trigger. Not only was he the one who was closest to ever truly hurting Dio since Jonathan, even in his death he kept fighting in any way he could. Kakyoin always was and will always be one of my favorite Jojo characters, on par with the main characters themselves. His calm and suave attitude with his genuine and really sincere care for others always just made him so much fun to watch, and his ending was bittersweet and sad. I'm glad this character got to go out on such a great scene - and while I'm sure it would've been great to see him in Parts 4 and 6, I think this is a great conclusion to his character. The ultimate sacrifice to help everyone, and the winning move in the ultimate game of chess.
It’s kinda sad, kakyion lived his whole life without friends until he met them and he had 50 days of fun, if I were kakyion I would gladly give my life again to help those friends who pulled me out of misery, at least in his last moments he knew that he had friends, great friends

@@soapybread I don't think kakyoins was the most saddest these guys where the saddest because of the moments around everything, I mean abachio was a person who had to live with the fact that he was a dirty cop and that's why his cop/friend died then when he dies and goes to heaven his partner said he did a good job and that he helped everyone. Narancha when he died everyone was shocked, he was like the kid of the group and him dying shocked everyone because it was out of nowhere. His stand FLEW along the clouds basicly saying he was in heaven, his friend the person who taught him who found him at his lowest of lows looked back like he knew something was wrong, and he was never even part of the group at the time. And we all know why butiratis death is sad. Kakyoins is not the saddest death by far.

I watched that a week after my dog died. Iggy, a dog who looks very similar to my own, and Kakyoin, one of the only characters I could ever call a favorite, dying? It broke me for weeks.

Kira: It’s so fast it’s like it stopped time
Kakyoin only kind of saw it happen the one time before he died. When the people are getting punched by Star Platinum, it would feel like a bunch of hits, at exactly the same time. That would make it easier to compare it to the feeling of time stopping. And its correlation that he died trying to figure it out. He would've been able to figure it out even if he didn't die. There are a TON of differentiating factors that go into this. Also Dio would've just instantly killed them in most cases when time was stopped.

I love the idea of Dio honoring Kakyoin's death by helping in the song honestly. Not only was Kakyoin the first Crusader to engage with him before Jotaro, he was the only Stand user *ever* close to touching him, with the only exception being Hol Horse, who would have surely died if he would've pulled the trigger. Not only was he the one who was closest to ever truly hurting Dio since Jonathan, even in his death he kept fighting in any way he could.
Kakyoin always was and will always be one of my favorite Jojo characters, on par with the main characters themselves. His calm and suave attitude with his genuine and really sincere care for others always just made him so much fun to watch, and his ending was bittersweet and sad. I'm glad this character got to go out on such a great scene - and while I'm sure it would've been great to see him in Parts 4 and 6, I think this is a great conclusion to his character. The ultimate sacrifice to help everyone, and the winning move in the ultimate game of chess.

@@doctorxawesomestop-motion1234 Stands have been shown to develop naturally in certain exceptionally talented individuals, such as Tonio. However, I think that in part 3 it was more of a 'eh, people can be born stand users' kind of thing. Avdol was born a stand user, as was Polnareff.
