Pinned your comment! Thank you for commenting this! (Just to add Armour King's Leather Hive Vest was just a random spawn, not an artifact) And you are correct on New Kralia!
Finally got Kenshi this Steam summer sale for 55% off and already done multiple several hour long sessions lol. Your guides have helped out a lot. Thanks my man.
Video idea / request since you asked in your dex guide: that movement technique at 6:15 also shown in your cats 100k+ video is a game changer and something i did not know before. i suspect there are at least a couple more similar tipps you know and could compile into one video, since you seem to know a lot about the game. stuff like for example, i dont think the game tells you that you cant carry someone if your left arm is missing and you cant fight with a weapon, not even a sidearm or one handed balde if you are missing the right arm. or crossbow accuracy going down at night hence why the little hive lanterns for the belt slot are amazing when you manage to avoid getting scammed on prices. stuff like that, trivia even. and if you include "tipps tricks and details" in the title it will be found by anyone looking to increase their knowledge about kenshi. i fear i m rambling but there isnt enough helpful gameplay stuff about kenshi on yt and you could change that since i like your video style. ty either way
Thanks for letting me know! And don't worry, rambling contains a ton of useful random stuff and that's exactly what I want in order to figure out what people want to know. Those are some great suggestions.
I'll definitely consider that for a future guide. I'm not much of a base builder as usually by around day 10 to 25 I have "won" my runs but I will say (To help a bit until I do make a guide) Black Desert is a wonderful place for a base provided you are okay with buying food nearby.
Bit of advice. Don't try to get 100 Strength! The xp gained for swinging a weapon that gives 100% str xp at level 0 with 0% xp is 4.125% of a level... At 90 it's 0.048925%.... At 99 it is 0.001615%. That means over 100,000 swings to go from 99 to 100. (Because your xp gained is based off your total level, like level 99 with 50% counts as level 99.5 which drops the xp down to 0.00091% per hit... But I will make a strength guide in the future. I just won't make one for 100 as it requires way too much time to actually do.
idk what really to ask for done over 2k hours myself and just like watching vids to try and maybe find a better way but after a nice simple toughness training I've seen someone use the shacks placed around the hungry bandits so they always stay near you (shacks placed in a way as they have no escape only you can let them escape once you are done but what are you able to achieve in 20 days with a solo character after your toughness training so including toughness training maybe either defense/ dodge depending on what skill you want to improve on which way you want to go then the martial arts and attack skill what would your best way be? mine after bandit defense training not using the shacks as everytime I start putting up shacks a small herd of bulls rush over and wipe them out but after toughness and since you would have some decent armor and minor defensive stat I head over to the great white gorillo and use that to train up my dodge/ melee defense in doing this I make sure block isn't on so I can start getting hits in and this also stops a leg/ arm from getting ripped off :P then once it's KO'd I wait till it stands up again pick it up and place it in one of the beds and then use it as a attack target
In saying this I usually get my defense up to 70/80 depending on how lucky I am toughness gets to go up a little higher before I am able to knock it out 60 if you use a weapon that inflicts mid-high bleed as it usually bleeds out before then
Hey. Crossbows from my testing all have a Bloodloss value of 2.0 (Even if they say 0.5x or 1.0x) and do Harpoon damage. Harpoon is a weird damage type and is a flat value which is not boosted by stats. I actually did a lot of testing on it before and am planning on making a guide covering it in the future.
@@FrankieWuzHere so, just to be clear the only type of protection from crossbows is "Harpoon resistance" ? (I can not find this answer anywhere. thank you for the reply!
It's hard to explain in detail but yes. The Harpoon resistance is the total dmg that the armour will resist and turn into stun damage. (Using Cut Resistance and Cut Efficiency) The cool thing about Harpoon resist is that unless a shot does more damage than the resistance value, you will take no cut damage. However let's say a piece of gear has 20 Harpoon resist and you got shot for 100 damage. Only 20 damage will turn into reduced stun damage, the other 80 will be inflicted as cut.
@@FrankieWuzHere thanks for the answer!! I don't have any mods installed..i found every other piece mentioned in the lost armory, only the legplates are not showing..:/
@@FrankieWuzHere thanks. Though, I have just reached a point in my playthrough when I don't really need this. Took me almost hundred days but both my weapon and armour smiths are lvl90 now and can produce edge2 and masterwork items regularly :D

I'm really glad to hear that. Love how often the game goes on sale.

Thank you! :)

2:13 when armor king isnt holding out on you anyways...
The rare occasion.
Bro, an AMAZING video which the wiki does not do justice!
I am Armor King.
Hey this is the enemyteam guy on twitch I love the vids
Thanks man!
Thank you for your hard work frankie!
Thank you for the comment and for watching my videos! :)
Loving the content. An idea for a video would be potential base locations per biome, as I'm sure you'd have many insights so share here as well.

I've found it easier to just save-scum and steal from armour King.
The room with the safe has a few spots you can break line of sight with.
I prefer to not use cheese (Other than my exploity thievery guide ofc haha) but to each their own!
YO THIS GUY IS COOL!
ur mom is cool Fushi.
excellent guide. thank you
No problem! Thank you!

It would be sooo cool if you could make a guide on how to get 100 Strenght!

nice joke man XD Paying? Never have done that to armour king :D
Is there a reason the Masterwork Samurai Legplates would not be in the lost armory? thank you!!
If you have any mods which add artifacts into the game (New weapons/Armour) or npcs with artifact vaults it could move locations of the gear.
@@FrankieWuzHere thanks for the answer!! I don't have any mods installed..i found every other piece mentioned in the lost armory, only the legplates are not showing..:/
Is there an armory with boots or those samurai guards are the only way to 100% get those masterwork samurai boots?
Stobes Gamble Lost Armour Store has an Artifact spawn with one!

Is masterwork crab armor only available from the crafting?
Helmet yes. The rest of it can be found on the Crab Queen as Masterwork 10% of the time.
strength guide please
I saw that the mongrel chest plate has a tendency to be replaced by a specialist chain shirt. Is this mods or game design?
That's a mod causing that. New items added into the artifact pool, or npcs/zones with artifact values added in can change the location of them.
show how to train strength
Must have patched this... no samurai leggings at leviathan... unless they are in the chest that i am too low level to unlock.
Very rare chance of them being in a locked container. But still a chance :( Hacksaws spawn frequently on the counters check to see if one is there! )
Or I can just steal it all
